A plethora of historic weapons and tales. Ogden has many people who knew of or can relate stores of the Browning dynasty. The Browning Museum has one of the most complete collections of guns this side of the Mississippi! Not a large place but the guns are encased in glass and easy to look at with placards explaining what each gun did, when it was made and more.

An awesome place to go for firearms history. Doing all of the guns for the sporting aspect of hunting and target practicing. And the weapons he helped develop to win will War 1 at war 2. He was a prolific genius. 1 of a kind of firearms and first run productions.

Well worth going. I've been to other fire arms museums (including the NRA museum in Washington DC). While some have been larger or had more pieces, this one is special as it has all of John Browning's prototypes for his patents.

Not all historians are gun owners, but almost all gun owners are historians! If you are into history as well as forearms this museum is a "Can't Miss" and should be on every gun collectors bucket list! Although relatively small, it houses Browning's original gun shop as well as a fabulous collection of John Browning's original prototype firearms....those that made him famous as well as making many others famous! Many of his prototypes are still "in the white" and include the early Winchester purchases, the 1911, the Hi-Power, Potato digger, BAR, the 1917, 1919 and M2 beltfed guns, sporting shotguns (most notably the Auto 5) and a history of each (and I left out a bunch that deserve equal time!) He was without doubt the worlds greatest firearms designer and maker of all time and most modern guns owe a piece of their design to John Browning. Again, relatively small so you can go through it very quickly, or you can spend a couple hours pondering how the mind of such a great designer worked, The only improvement I would make would be to improve the lighting a bit and make it easier to photograph the various guns inside their display cases.
