A very nice little out of the way state park in Utah. Homestead buildings and history that included Native American, Mormon, and Hispanic history all centered around the most important resource in southern Utah--water. We were the only visitors there so we got a private tour by a knowledgeable, interesting NA guide. Worth going out of your way for, and worth planning an hour or so to see.

I grew up on the street depicted in the train set model. I was mesmerized by this model. It is very accurate. I remember when they were starting to build the museum they rode down our street in the stage coaches and gave my brothers and I a ride in the coach. Coll experience but my parents didn't know where we were and were a little concerned. Great Museum.

Surprisingly informative. This small town museum has plenty of interactive displays and lots to look at and study. Sit in a replica stage coach and visit a pioneer school. They did leave out some important Native history which is very important to the area. An inexpensive way to spend 1-2 hours.

Ms. Sabre Kittykatasia

There was a festival at the park last week, there were a few vendors local and far traveling. They displayed great artistic talent from metal work to food creations. There was also some live Western style music that sounded pretty good, it drew a steady crowd stream and was an enjoyable surprise since I did not know it was going to be happening. It was new to me I had not seen an event in previous years at this venue usually most events like this one are held at the city park, but this event was put on without a hitch and was quite pleasant I hope to see more events put on at many different venues throughout this great town it brings people out and really livens up sleepy Cedar City and puts a very much needed and desired festivity in the atmosphere. Thank you to the event planners at the Frontier Museum and Homestead Park area for having this fun and entertaining festival. Very nice.
