Awesome museum, great history and old antiques.

Bawb Nielsen

This place is ran entirely on donations. I think the art is great and it is always fun to see a Mammoth.

Carmen Stephens

The Ladies at the Museum were most helpful. I only wish I'd had more time to spend there, as it is most interesting with displays that are wonderful to see, as well as great art work.

Brittany Dana

I came here with slightly lower expectations but ended up with a wonderful surprise! The museum had a fair bit of things to look at! And there were some more unique items that you can't find in just any museum. So it ended up being a lot of fun and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for something fun to do!

This museum is a hidden gem in Fairview - housed within two buildings. One contains mainly artworks and geologic specimens and the second contains rooms with period clothing, and other artifacts from the past. My kids loved the telephone display and yours will too!

A museum well curated that reflects the local history extremely well! It has a small gift shop stocked with a variety of gifts including western history titles. Also there are displays of artwork and a library for research. A must for tourists!

We always bring the kids here while in the area. They love seeing the amazing rocks and minerals, the amazing mammoth, and all the cool artwork! Make sure you check out both buildings!! Lots of history in them!

Great, fun & free little museum. Most people will remember the Avard Fairbanks' collection, as well as the Mammoth Skeleton replica. It's free, so stop by! Also, if you're a coin or stamp collector, they have some cool historic coins and stamps for sale.

Breanna Beal

It use to be free but now they want you to donate a $1 per person or $5 per family but overall I love these museums

A unique museum in a place you wouldn’t expect it! Worth a 45-60 minutes minute visit.

Free museum featuring work by local artists. It's a fun place to visit, and our kids love the the mammoth skeleton on display. (I happened to be present when some of the mammoth was unearthed on the nearby Wasatch Plateau in 1988 near Huntington Reservoir, so I find the place quite nostalgic.)

Visted the Utah Heritage Art And Beauty opening on July 23. A wonderful show, lots of talented painters and photographers. A wonderful museum, a real secret gem in a small town like Fairview. Worth the trip to visit, even if you are just passing through. Current show is up through Aug. 10th. And followed by a scheduled set of shows of local talent all though the year.

Gayle Randall

Pretty cool stuff from local artists here. I was amazed with the Wooly Mammoth skeleton. We also went on Skyline Drive and saw the Historic Marker and details if the excavation at the dam. Amazing!!! Loved it.

Tory Norman

Nice blend of classic exhibits and current items. The two museums side-by-side are a must see if you are passing by in the summer months and the staff are super nice. The old school house holds many of the older traditional exhibits that were around since I was a kid and, if you ask, the docents often know cool stories behind seemingly uninteresting and unmarked exhibits. Ask them what is interesting and, if you bring kids, ask them which exhibits are hands-on, because some are.

Fairview is a charming little town rife with historical goodies: a mammoth for one. Fossilized dino tracks and other creature festures are also on display. The museum is also a treasure trove on indegious artifacts & other historical markers humans leave behind with the passage of time. Visit this little gem of preservation if you find yourself in Sanpete County.

Caden Bigler

Great little educational place, especially if you have family from down that way

Very interesting museum, they have a surprising amount of information about the town and the valley. The more permanent art and artifacts here are very neat, and they have a gallery for local artists that they change regularly. They feature a locally discovered mammoth fossil
