We've got all the opinions of people who consumed the products of Discovery Gateway Children\'s Museum (Museum) in the area close to Utah.
Nowadays the firm gets a rating of 4.6 out of 5 and that rating has been calculated on 1240 reviews.
As you can see it has an average rating is basically the top, and it is based on a high number of feddbacks, so we may be quite sure that the assessment is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to set reviews when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Museum is classified in the category of Children\'s museum.
This place is amazing!!! Oh my goodness! My kids love love love it here. You can tell they put the money back into this place to keep it nice. Or in other words this place is not run down. Happily pay to get in because it’s a killer deal for what you get. This is a non-profit so if you feel like donating to a great cause this would be a great cause.
I love this place for my kiddo! Its always a little busy, but well worth it! 2 floors, indoor and outdoor areas, tiny tots area, and tons of fun and educational things to do! Great for younger and older kids. Plus if you park in the parking garage, they offer a discount voucher on the cost. They also offer sensory bags for kids with sensory issues. Every time we go there there is a new activity or exhibit! Well worth it!
Wonderful exhibits and staff! We had a tremendous time ❣️
Great place for kids of all ages to soend the day. Everything is either hands on or interactive. You can even book a room for parties. Built in entertainment for party guests! Win, win.
Don’t ever go before 12:30 on a weekday morning. They hold field trips for roughly 3-4 grades. Loud nightmare. The kids on the field trip even looked like they were having a bad time. Between the mass of people, adults screaming at the kids and the unsupervised kids screaming, it was a horrible time. I will say though after the massive crowds left it was a lot better. Filthy yes, but quieter. Also the people that work there need customer service training.
Always a great place to take the kids to have tons of fun...
It's a great place for the kids to learn, hands-on. Can get very crowded. Would recommend visiting without the big crowds.
Really cool place that you can spend hours at. I just dont understand why parents have to pay.
So much fun! My girls had a blast for about 7 hours, and the middle daughter wished that it stayed open longer! I loved that there were so many things that made them use their imagination and creativity. We will definitely be coming here regularly, now that we know how much fun it is!
Very fun place for kids. We went on Saturday and had free entry.
It has a lot of interesting things for kids to do and learn.
My 16 month old loved it here! I did like that it was open a few hours on Sunday. We had the small kid area to ourselves!
So much fun for kids and parents
My kids had so much fun here and I loved that they were learning while playing.
Really fun place for kids to learn and discover how things work. My child asks to go here about once a week and spends 4 to 5 hours exploring and playing each time we come. The entrance fee is really good considering how much there is to do.
We just had our Family Reunion here
Great educational place to take kids. I love how interactive it was. It only took about an hour to an hour and a half to look at all the different things there.
Love this museum! It can keep your kids entertained and engaged for hours. I just wish there were some food options offered, not just a vending machine. Also, a small coffee shop would be amazing for this tired mom.
When we first bought our memberships I thought it was only for the kids but I find myself playing with some of the interactive stations that they have throughout the museum. Our little boys have such a great time there and they can be entertained for hours on end. A great place for kids to explore and learn. They do a great job of hosting activities for the kids. We’ve done a birthday party here and it the kids loved it.
This place is amazing and absolutely worth getting the membership. My daughter loves playing here and it's so fun to watch her mind be stimulated by all of the different play areas.
Loved it. My son had a great time loved how things were hands on and it wasn't a bad price to get it in.
Great way to spend a few hours with the kids. Parking validation good for 3 hours. I think I played as much as my 5yo.
Great place for kids. A must see if you have children.
This place is just amazing, I'd go back anytime I'm in town!
My kids loved it here! They had so much fun at the many different stations. They have stations for every age-level, and I loved that they had a closed area for crawlers and young children. There’s so much to do I wish we went at an earlier time so they could experience every floor lol. We spent 3 hours on only one of the three floors! I was also pleased by how clean it was, even the bathrooms were well-kept. Also there are sanitizing dispensers on every wall. It was all-around good fun and we’re definitely going again!
Fantastic! Lots of free stuff for the kids to do and interact with. And they will give you a 1 hr. parking validation at the front desk upon request.
The membership is definitely the way to go! If you go 2-3 times it will pay for itself (depending on how you utilize it). With a membership, you get 3 hours of parking validation for the garage which has direct entrance into the museum area. Just don't forget to ask for the validation slip when you enter! I'll also mention the parking garage can be a bit confusing and usually fills up fast. There are 2 full floors for hands on adventures. There is a little bit of everything here and for people of all ages. Things are pretty well maintained and kept clean, although it still sees damages as with any interactive exhibit. There are bathrooms in each floor as well as a family bathroom. There are lots of hand sanitizer stations around as well. Since it's located in the Gateway there is a lot of other things to do nearby. I've never had or seen any issues here, it's a fun adventure!
We were given a membership for Christmas and it 3 year old loves going here. There is so much to do, including: building bridges, shopping, working on cars, a helicopter simulation in A REAL HELICOPTER, building towers, building and racing pinewood derby cars, and much more! It can sometimes be chaotic with so many kids around, but the staff is friendly and helpful.
Staff is not friendly or helpful. If you have kids watch them like a hawk. This is a great place for kids to learn but an accident waiting to happen. No discount if any of main attractions are closed. Very rude staff. Not helpful if you need directions or help. Staff seemed annoyed by young kids running around. For a place that is supposed to be inviting and fun for all ages it was a nightmare for us. Don't lose your parking validation, they charge a dollar for replacement. Bathrooms were clean, however I suggest they clean after hours since my wife had to wait for the cleaning to change our daughter. Over priced and they charge for anyone 0-200. Half the exibits were in disrepair. Needs a major overhaul. If I were a sponsor I would pull my name.
My son loves this place. Lots of sitting areas in every section for parents, so I love it too.
My daughter never gets bored of this place. Great variety of activities for all ages of kids. Worth the cost of a membership.
So so fun, we went on a field trip but have been back!
Really fun and educational for kids. For kids younger than four years old and it may not be as fun for them. But my daughter's kindergarten class went and she loved it.
Took my 10mo old and he had such a fun time exploring and watching other kids play! I didn’t think he would be so excited to be there but he really did love it!
We have loved our annual pass for our 5 year old. Great place to go and get energy out while learning.
My kids could spend all day here. They love it! There's something fun for every age. Downstairs is geared towards younger, upstairs towards older kids.
Kids can play here for hours and it is very easy to keep track of where they are playing.
Great place for young kids. The new Honey Climber is great for growing children. They also have an awesome water table. There is definitely something for everyone.
What a fantastic place to take your children! I love how the employees are continuously organizing the toys, I saw employees wiping down the products with disinfectant on a continuous basis! Five stars for sure
We have had the yearly pass for the last few years now. My kids love it!
Brought our 16 month old and he loved it! It's so much fun to watch the little ones explore, play, and learn! Adults have fun too:)
This place is awesome!! The kids have so much fun and learn so much! If you get a chance to go there, definitely do it! Great memories if you volunteer too!
Love coming here, they're always renovating and adding new exhibits. Definitely reccomended.
I brought my 3 and 4 year old here and they loved it. It had different areas with lots of themes- engineering, water play, movement based, aerodynamics, nutrition and more. They constantly ask to go back- they could happily spend 3+ hours here and be completely entertained.
My kids could spend hours here. They are continually updating their exhibits. If you are local with a family of 4 or more and plan to visit more than twice a year then get a family pass. Other than the price for a single day pass this place is great!
Super duper fun place for kids even adults like me
I enjoy this place with my kids. This is a very interesting place. You can learn a lot of things or remember them as adult.
Went there for a birthday party and my son had a blast.
My kids love going here, we're glad we went ahead and got the membership earlier this year, more than paid itself off. Great way to spend any day
LOVE this place. The children were well engaged throughout all of the exhibits. Great toddler area. Kids were tired but not cranky as we left because they were emotionally and physically fulfilled.
My kids (6 & 8) love this place. We come here every time we are in SLC. It's all hands on. From LEGO pine box derby cars, a real life flight helicopter, waterworks, Nerf construction zone to kid sized homes, supermarkets garages and farms, this place is a hit. They validate parking.
My 2 year old loved it here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great place to take your littles. We will definitely be back again.
Absolutely amazing. Went with greenwood charter school. You can bring all ages here. Adults too
This place is amazing! Expensive, but amazing! My kids have loved the horse to sit on, the pretend grocery store, and the helicopter area. Bring a lunch to eat outside and stay even longer!
Really really fun time at Discovery Gateway museum!! The helicopter and steam station areas were closed when we went, and they were tearing down the zoo to make way for the bank. But I loved it here! My kids were thoroughly engaged. My daughter especially loved the play kitchen and putting the dolls to bed in their cribs. My son loved the construction site. They have a neat toddler area for kids under 3. They have a super cute Harmon's grocery store area and I especially loved their beehive playground and the small exhibit like wall of actual bees. That was really cool. They have plenty to do for the kids to last all day long. Smaller and more manageable than Thanksgiving point. The price is fair and they offer membership pricing.
Great place to take the kids. Worth getting a membership if going more then two times a year. Nice staff. They work hard to keep the place clean and safe. The team there are well staffed and you know your kids are safe. Make sure you set aside a good three to five hours for your kids because they will not want to leave this place I guarantee it. Mine always open and shut it down on a Sunday and still are sad to leave. My kids are 9 and under. Enjoy!
It's really great for smaller children about 12 and younger. My kids test are 3 and 6 years old really enjoyed it.
Wonderful family friendly atmosphere. Super entertaining and engaging. The kids loved it and the parents felt it was easy to play and many different activities to learn and grow.
Kids are fully entertained at this place. The imagination can go wild fixing a car, constructing with blocks, buying groceries or harvesting veggies on a farm. We were glad it didn’t close at 5pm likeI thought so we had a little more time upstairs to play. The pinewood derby area was a hit with my boys and they actually were quite interested in the medical area and helicopter outside. There was also a free play area that balance beam and tires. You should plan on at least 2 hours here. Downstairs it would be nice if there was a little more seating for parents to sit while kids play. We used our community exploration card for free admission, on my own I wouldn’t come frequently but I would return to visit once in awhile.
With a little boy that has sensory processing disorder, this place is his heaven. We go in the mornings during the week and it's not as busy. It is clean and fun. The staff is always walking around to pick up after the kids so the next group that comes in has a good experience. We will always buy annual passes as long as my kids are young!
We went for a kindergarten field trip and had a fun time. There was plenty for children to do.
My daughter loved going here! It was really fun and is meant for your kids to HAVE FUN and be themselves! They have almost everything for kids here! it was really really fun!
Kids are having a blast, a small ton of indoor and outdoor thinks fir kids to play with
This is a great museum for kids. Plenty of different engaging activities. My two year old was thrilled
Fun place to bring your kids. Lots ofndifferent things to do, my girl enjoyed it.
If you have kids I’d recommend going here at least once a year. It’s a ton of fun and can be cheaper than going to places that charge a lot of money. I took my kids here and let them play for an hour or two and it was great. Good memories and a great place for pictures too.
Decent children's museum with many different stations for kids to explore. The first floor especially the water discovery area seem crowded together when there is tons of empty open space upstairs.
Its cool to go 1 time. I don't think I would go more than that. That said don't get stuck by the door where the big ball thing is, go in further and find the water play area. That was our favorite unfortunately we found it just before we were leaving. There is a small grocery store area and a large faux horse to take a picture on. Also make sure that you find the helicopter area. Its pretty cool with air rescue and sounds, plus the medical "facility". Those are pretty awesome too,
My 8 year old and 10 year old granddaughters had a blast!
This is a fantastic children's museum. Our son loved it when he was 3 and 4 years old. We went twice on our visit (plan on spending at least 1.5 hours there). There is a new climbing structure that goes up to second floor. Our son loved it because he is independent and loves physical challenges, however if your child is younger/smaller or gets scared without your help then I would recommend to skip it.
This place is huge! We were here for about 3 hours and still didn't see everything. Great for a wide range of ages, reasonably priced for the entertainment. Would absolutely go back. Get's very busy on the weekends.
A jewel in the center of SLC
CANNOT RAVE ABOUT THIS PLACE ENOUGH!!! WORTH EVERY PENNY AND EVERY REVISIT.
Loved it. Took 3 kids aged 5,4 and 3 and we stayed for hours. I loved that you can bring your own snacks and there is a place to eat outside. It was crazy busy though because of all the schools. After 12:30am..all the schools were gone and then it was amazing with no one much around. Prior to that time it was stressful and crazy trying to watch my kids amongst the school kids.
A favorite place to take my nieces and nephews. Everything is so interactive and bright. I wish places like this existed for me when I was a kid
While visiting ski country in Utah my daughter and her husband and our grandsons flight was delayed so to kill time we came here to entertain our three and a half year old grandson. The place is total mayhem with kids running all over having a ball our grandson totally enjoyed himself. The museum is laid out very nicely there's lots of educational opportunities for small children and as a grandfather I have to admit I enjoyed coming and never would think I would have said that before if you have extra time in Salt Lake I recommend you visit especially with smaller children.
My kids loved it here! Will come back again.
Amazing place for kids to run around and discover new things
My kids love this Place.. ..it's awesome and safe to let your kids be free and have fun.
The exhibits are varied, elaborate, and so engaging for all the senses! Stroller/wheelchair accessible and friendly. Admission was $12.50 per person (except under 1 yr old). The Beehive one is truly impressive!
This museum is great for kids of all ages. Their annual membership is very affordable. My kids love playing here. The helicopter and the grocery store are always a major hit.
This children's museum is set apart with its outdoor helicopter imagination area. Your child can pretend to be a helicopter rescue worker and rescue a stranded hiker or skier. With scheduled activities along with the many rooms and ways to spur imagination, this is a fantastic place for your child to spend hours playing and strengthening their development. From water stations, house and store play, a car for mechanic work, post office , fire fighter and other costumes to wear, and a car Lego race ramp, and a ball section that takes ball through tubes, your child will be filled with delight to play here.
Grandkids just loved it, we had so much fun
My kids love it here, and honestly I do too. There are so many activities! The beehive has tubes and tracks that the kids can send balls through. The construction area has giant foam blocks and working cranes with building patterns the kids can copy or they can design their own. The play house is complete with kitchen, living room, nursery, window garden, and a little mouse hole that is fully furnished. The postman station has costumes and letters to deliver to actual mailboxes with addresses through the first floor. The water table area is always a huge hit with my kids and has waterproof aprons, running currents, on an off valves, hand washing sinks and hand dryers. Then there is the farm and market, where they can pick their own fruits and veggies, learn about bees, deliver goods to the market, shop, and ring out their groceries. They've got an auto garage where you can "work" on a car, and this is just the first floor! Upstairs there is a wide array of hands on learning activities, like building your own derby style car to race, magnetic building supplies and pipes to build a funnel system to run balls through, a fake newscast green screen, a flag relay to deliver messages from one end of the room to the other, plus so much more. And on the rooftop terrace, there is a life flight helicopter, station, and triage center, complete with doctor coats and scrubs, x-ray machines and cat scans, electronic screens where you can perform surgery, and life flight simulation screens where you get a first person view of how life flight works. If you have little ones, there is a great, fenced in toddler area with safe toys and play mats as well as a mothers nursing corner tucked in the back. We've never been during the times they have a craft or activity, but I imagine they're just as fun as the rest of the place. My ONLY gripe about the place is that it's pretty pricey to get in, and parents have to pay to supervise, even if they don't participate. We don't go often because of this, however, I do know they offer season pass type deals that make it much more affordable in the long run.
I don't think I've ever been anywhere that charges full admission for 2 year old, plus parking validation costs $1. Oddly enough that is... wait for it... just as much as full price at the exit. Don't kid yourself about it being a museum either. It's a playground with minimal educational value or presentation. At least half the attractions broken and it just feels dirty and ill maintailed. Heck, even the hand sanitizer dispenser (one of 2 on the entire second floor) is broken. Shout out to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden for a children's museum experience that is about 20 times better. Cleaner. Cheaper. More activities, and they all work. Highly recommended over this joke. Edit: I'm pretty sure a 2 year old causes about 1/100th the wear and tear that a 10 year old does. I also don't think people, myself included, bring a 2 year old as the primary visitor. They are a tag-a-long with older siblings. Still, I'm glad you think that any one really reads those panels to their toddlers, or the older kids for that matter. I didn't take a tally, but if everything I saw was recent then there must have been a whirlwind go by just before us. There is a tangible difference in a freshly broken item and something that has been sitting for a while. Everything was old. Sure kids learn during play, but there is a big difference between what a museum is supposed to offer vs a playground. A museum is supposed to offer attractions that are to rare/expensive/large/complex/etc to see elsewhere. A tub of Magformers that I could buy at Walmart doesn't fit that description. In other words, this is about as much a museum as the McDonald's play zone.
Alot of fun for the kids. Very Interactive. Would definitely come back again.
Love the chill environment, all the interactive stations, the friendly staff. Great for kids of all ages any time of day. Easy to keep a track of a large group and you can't beat the price. A total treat for my family.
We love it here so much that we got a membership! Now we go there all the time even just for an hour or less. It’s s great place to go to get the kids out of the house and take them somewhere that will help them learn and develop. There are so many different options for different ages and interests. We always have a great time there!
BizTown was such an awesome experience!
We had my daughter’s 3rd birthday party here. Staff were excellent! Very helpful party attendants and the museum is always a blast!
Totally adorable and super great for kids.
A must-visit for all children! There are many hours of things to do here, and even a play area for small babies.
Fun place for the kids! Our 3 yr old quadruplets and 6 yr old had a blast!
This is a kids museum that is situated right next to some great shopping. The first level has a lot of sensory play and activities for younger children. The construction area was my youngest favorite. The second floor offers more Interactive events and STEM-based games for older children. My favorite part of the location was the Intermountain Health Life Flight display. This included a real helicopter and a virtual rescue
This place is much fun for kid's & even adult's. So many activities.
Interactive displays made it fun, grabs your attention. Great for kids & people who refuse to lose that inner child.
Nice place for kids to play when is cold outside
This place is so cool they have a little bit of something for every age group from about 1 and 1/2 and up. They have a water area that my son loved and a grocery store and Minnie construction zone area that you could learn how to do things like a grown up. I highly recommend. We were invited there for a party they did a wonderful job with the theme and having everything set up and taken down for them.
Parents rejoice! Kids get lost here for hours having fun and learning at the same time. Highly recommended.
Lots if fun activities for the kids. There are so many different activities that my 3 year old wants to play with everything thus spending a couple minutes at each activity before moving on them going back. For parents, not a lot of fun because you have to keep up with your kids. Overall, it is a valuable resource for children.
Really expensive..... For the simple kid activitys
this is such a great place for kids to come play have fun and not over heat on those HOT summer days my kids played all day.
Great place! Right down to the little attention to detail like having a dryer by the water area. Lots of fun for the whole family. Very hands-on. Ellen, Sawyer and Maricela have amazing customer service. Promote! God bless! -Jake the film guy
Super fun and safe for kids, great faculty, and puts real fun into science and discovery for my kids.
Wonderful for our 2yo, he loved every room on the first floor at least! Parking was easy (North lot on S 400 W--on the opposite side building from the planetarium corner) walked right in. I wish there were more people helping to keep it tidy for example all the water proof coats were wet and on the floor and the kitchen play area just had the plastic food EVERYWHERE..
So many fun things about this museum. Love the beehive climbing area and the new water works. The second floor indoor playground (jump rope, hopscotch, corn hole) is getting a little sparse and feeling ready for an update. They've had some really awesome traveling exhibits in this space in the past.
My family absolutely loves the children’s museum. Parking in the garage is so easy. It’s the perfect place to escape on a hot summer day or from the rain or snow. They update the exhibits frequently. Pro tip: during the school year come on Mondays or in the afternoon to avoid the school field trips.
Such a fun place for kids to enjoy with many activities and variety.
Kids loved it.. had many different play/ learning area's
This is an awesome place for kids. They have a little bit of everything to keep your kids interested.
Awesome place to take kids and let them run around and explore!
My son wanted to stay for days and talks about it even weeks later. Incredibly well pit together. Loved the bee exhibit with live bees
Great place to spend a whole morning or afternoon with the kids. The bathrooms are clean and the staff is friendly and always making sure the children are safe.
although there are alot of kids, it almost feels stress free for me and that's with 4 children.
Really great place to take the kiddos to blow off some energy. This place has everything to keep the kids and adults entertained for hours. We got the season pass which was $200 that can be split between a few family members. You get 6 people in every time with the pass. Also seems like a great place for a birthday party.
My sister-in-law has a pass so we piggy back off her. What a joy this place is! Stand in one place whilst your little ones run a-mock. They’re having fun! They’re not depending on you to have fun now that you’re there. Life has purpose!
A ton of fun! Way cool to see the bees and have the kids climb up the honeycomb. My only wish is that they had more nursing chairs
At first it seemed like my 6 year old was not very interested in the activities at the museum but then he found the construction area and the Lego racers. He ended up having a great time. Definitely a good place to visit
It's a lesser version of Thanksgiving point curiosity
Great place for the kids. Great customer service. Very clean, and the layout is amazing. Can get busy sometimes, but most of the time, the kids can run around and play with all the different areas that they offer. Love coming here, just wish I lived closer.
Super fun with a lot a different things to do. My daughter had a blast and never wanted to leave
What a fantastic interactive museum for children. They really thought this through as to what would mesmerize children while teaching them at the same time. The helicopter and first aid station just fascinated the heck out of 4 year old grandson. They have a pinewood derby track on the second floor that was a hit too. The kids build their own car from Legos.
Our son loved it. There were so many different things for him to do.
Such a great museum! Loved the medical rescue center, bee climber, and water table just to name a few great exhibits. We have a 9 and 4 year old and both had a great time! Also- very cool to observe an actual beehive!
We visited because of a friends recommendation and we had a blast. Surprisingly there was plenty for our 2 year old son to keep busy with. He loved it and therefore we loved it.
I love the rotating activities at the children's museum. This time around we did the Harmons grocery store, water feature, Lego race cars, and dinosaur digging. There was a special visit from Buddy from Dinosaur Train and a Pbs kids table.
We used to love coming here! The activities are great and the kids enjoy coming to play and explore. They recently change the pricing and 1 year old children now cost $12! What a rip off. My 1 year old daughter can't walk. We paid $12 for my wife to hold our daughter. Biggest waste of money I have spent.
This place is awesome. Most things are in great condition. The bee room is the coolest. We spent hours here.
As a 34 year old man this place is pretty lame. But as a father of two under 5. It's pretty awesome.
Kids had fun for 3 to 4 hours.Nice place for all age kids
This is a very fun museum for kids. I wouldn’t say it’s that fun for adults, but I had quite a bit of fun here. The admission tickets are dirt cheap, and this place is HUGE! They have so many activities and different things for kids to do it amazes me that the tickets are so cheap. This museum is a must if your in the area looking for stuff to do with your kids. Five stars for Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum in Salt Lake City Utah.
Lots of fun. My boyfriend and I don't have kids, but I really wanted to go since I missed going here as a kid. It's just as fun as I remember it being.
Even cooler than I expected. Its great what private donations can put together. I went for Junior Achievements, and there was so much to see and do. It was for 8th graders, and it was about the right age group.
This baby had a great time here! There is something for all ages here. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Super FUN! Great place to take the kids duting summer vacations.
Amazing children's museum. We spend the whole day here. My only complaint would be the toddler area gate should have a latch on it. It swings and toddlers can easily get out or play with the door and get hurt.
Been here a few times over the years with older and younger kids through school, not much has changed and needs a little more up to date exhibits. The one in Las Vegas is much cleaner and exciting I would love to see more technology.
We had. My son's second birthday here. It is a bit on the pricy side but was amazing. He was so amazed and entertained the whole time. We stayed until it closed.
Lots of fun activities! But really Over crowded. They should definitely put a cap on how many people they let in. Literally felt like every step I was taking I was going to trample a kid. Also some items are old and dirty looking- like the play house!
There were a few things in the museum that I enjoyed and quite a few that I didn't. However I think that for younger children it's a great experience
Such a great place for kids of all ages. There's something for every age group.
Really fun for kids. Has activities for adults to help kids. Slides, water activities, building games, race car track, and sports. And has play areas for toddlers.
My boys love this place. My youngest is autistic and hes extremely sensory and always welcome and free to be himself here.
This is a fantastic children's museum/ activity center with a variety of entertaining centers. Some of our favorites are the play inside a real helicopter, the water table, the play house/town, and the bee hive jungle gym with a real beehive to watch in the works. They have an outside picnic area so you can bring a lunch or snack and lots of other educational corners. We were there for 4 hours and my kids (aged 3-11, plus a baby) still didn't feel like they got to do everything completely. The reason it gets 4 stars is because of the cost. It is $12.50 for anyone attending 1 and up. It is obviously a children's museum geared for little ones, but adults pay the same price just to attend. It would be more plausible that adults are half the price since they are more supervisors than participants.
I bought the membership for this place, because I did not want to have to pay for my one-year-old each time I visited. I think that's a little young to be charging $12.50 for them to just toddle around, maybe move some of the toys around, and then leave after they get bored after one hour. Most other places have children under 3 or 2 be free, and I personally think that's how this place should be. But, the membership is fairly inexpensive and I think I'll quickly break even and then some by just attending a few times each year. It's a great indoor place to bring my toddler when he's needing a change of scenery, and a change of toys from his usual daily schedule. There's a lot of different places that entertain him, and he'll only have more fun and enjoyment once he grows older and can do more things.
I went in for a tour of this place and it’s absolutely amazing! The exhibits and workshops they have there could keep a child (and even some adults, myself included) entertained all day long. I don’t have any kids of my own, but I do have two nieces and a nephew, and anybody with even a little but if playfulness it imagination would have a blast in the place.
What a great place. get the family pass for 6. It let's you bring parties of 6 in and valets one car. Amazing place for kids I would say 18 months to 8 depending on their imagination.
Pretty cool place lots of interesting things your kids can get into even for the big kids(adults) to enjoy
After being to many children’s museums, this one falls very short. It has water, air movement, large block, and toddler features but it doesn’t have wall to wall things to do. The neat bee climb was fun but short lived. As parents of a 6 year old we found ourselves sitting, waiting, and watching rather than being interested to interact ourselves. I have seen many more museums of St. Louis and Indianapolis that we’re much better and entertaining. I would only go back to take younger children for a few hours.
Fantastic place to burn some energy, explore, learn and the exhibits are so interactive and informative. My 4.5 yo had the best time here
This is such a fun place to take your kids, we go on free days and it packed so the parking is always full. But other than that, they have two levels of full hands on play! They have a little outdoor area too with a helicopter the kids can go in. A water play area with little water proof aprons. Classes for crafts and even a little nursing area with rocking chairs! So no need to nurse in a bathroom! We always have the best time coming here. Staff is absolutely perfect!
My child loves this place. We have purchased an annual pass for a family of three for $100. You can't beat that price anywhere in the valley for constant interactive learning. The staff are friendly and the facilities are always clean.
Fun place for you and your family. All kinds of hands on stuff to do. We took our in-laws and our 1yr old and everyone has something to do. Very fun and entertaining
A bit surprised to see the condition decline over time while the prices have gone up, but this is still a lot of fun for kids. Interactive play in a variety of forms, is great for sparking curiosity and the kids don’t really notice how new anything is! Go and have a fun time! The staff are helpful and friendly, it’s well planned and thought out, definitely check out the helicopter on on the upper level. They’ve added some really fun things over the years! This is all about the kids— they’ll love it! Ended up staying for 4 hours on our last visit. Paid for a parking validation for $1 and spent another $2 to get out. Not too shabby for an evening of wearing the kids out and seeing them have a fun time!
Fun and interactive place for kids. Keeps them busy for hours!
We spent 2 hours hours here and my 10 year old had alot of fun!!!
Good place for a couple hours of fun. Junior achievement is one of the best things your child can experience
