REVIEWS OF Bean Life Science Museum IN Utah

Katrina Jacobs

This a great place to bring kids. They have a little area where kids can play with a small slide and a bear den. For being a university museum, they content is pretty impressive. They have a Liger, elephant, birds, bugs, fish and so much more.

Rebecca Millward

Lots of animals to look at and kid friendly. A nice little museum that only takes an hour or two to go through. My kids love it!

Bruce Gudmundson

What a collection of animal exhibits. They have preserved many magnificent animals and have many of them in interactive poses. The big Kodiak bear at the entrance is just the beginning of awesome displays that give you real life size of these awe inspiring animals. The elephant, giraffes and white rhino are quite impressive. Be sure to check out the upper exhibits as well to view predators and literally come face to face with a lion pride and wolf packs.

Jessica Parker

Awesome little museum. Kids loved the animal show.

Matthew Wilson

Great museum. Clean, friendly staff. Enjoyed the live animal show.

Chelsea Herring

What a great place for a field trip. The live animal show was great.

Jake Wynn

It's free! But we went while they were moving things around so it was kind of a bummer 6\19. I will give this another shot to. Get 5 stars when they are finished moving things around. It's really kid friendly with good taxidermied mammals and a scavenger hunt for the kids to do.

Emilee Pini

Kids LOvE this place! Park in the parking lot and then go get your parking pass from the front desk so you don’t get a ticket.

Kira Joy Shelton

Great free museum full of taxodermy animals. It sounds strange, but it gives a chance to see real animals I'm up close. You can go through it pretty quickly if you like or stay 1.5+ hrs. There is a small play area for toddlers. They have live shows, but are catered to older kids (not toddlers).

Connor Lee-Wen

Really cool place to go through! They seriously have a huge collection of different animals (especially birds). Would definitely recommend walking through here. Plus, it's free- so why not?

Emily Yates

Awesome for my Littles ❤️

Lauren McDaniel

Fun, FREE and informative. Maybe update or change things up a bit. Or have fun events or guest speakers, etc. But overall, the kids love it.

Elsa Figueroa

I love the animals and how they are portrayed in their habitat and environment. Excellent museum!!

Greg Rentschler

Place is a great spot to hold youth activities. They also do live animal shows. Great learning experience. They have a spot that is being painted now that shows a lot of the mountain landscapes of Utah. Great place to bring kids so they can learn.

Jerri Henderson

Excellent. The 17 foot giraffes were amazing. The show with the live boa snake was awesome. The workers were great to allow our blind and visually impaired students touch various animal skins and animals. Friendly and informative employees.

Tyson Wheare

Even before the expansion, the Monte L. Bean Museum was a great place to take kids to learn about the natural world. Since the renovation, the museum has only improved, with cleaner, more open spaces, very instructional exhibits, a small play area for young children, and the occasional live animal show. The Bean museum is on par with similar museums that charge entry (such as the wildlife museum in St. George, Utah), and would still be worth visiting even if it did charge admission. If you're looking for something to do (especially for kids), and you have 20 minutes, or even an hour, this is well worth the time.

Mickelle

This place has a lot to look at and is always a fun place to come browse whether with friends, kids, a date, etc. There are rooms with birds, large animals, and special exhibits as well as the artwork of Boyd K. Packer. I also love the live animal shows! They get pretty noisy because so many kids attend them, but that's a lot of the fun.

Jana Pate

Fun place to go to learn about animals and insects

Matt Mogensen

Great selection of exhibits from all over the world. Great for the whole family.

Mariana Carmichael

The Bean Life Science Museum is a fantastic, family go to! It’s free, they have exhibits everywhere so the kids aren’t bored. There is so much to see, some are even interactive. There’s a little, “mini” playground area. Their animal/bug show they do is also pretty cool. If your kids are interested in animals, you’ll really enjoy it. Especially if they like to pet snakes haha. We go at least once or twice a year.

amy

One of our favorite places to visit when we're in town. So many animals and wonderful displays. I can't believe it's free.

Lilly Riordan

This is an entertaining museum I've been going to for as long as I can remember. My mom used to get all of us kids together and take us here, and we loved it. Now I take my kids, and it's just as enjoyable! We love seeing the animals, and the whole museum is organized very well. It has a wide variety of animals from different places around the world. I usually spend 1-2 hours here, depending on how long the kids play on the little slide they have. The gift shop is also super cute. They recently remodelled everything, so it has a fresh, clean feel. I can't fully express my love for this amazing museum! I highly recommend a visit, with or without children.

Rachel Nickle

I originally visited the museum in 2006-7. I was really impressed with improvements made. My children loved it!

Nathan Topham

Great place for the kids there is a ton of things to do. The scavenger hunt for them was challenging them is such a fun and challenging way to learn and have fun.

Kevin Mock

Since the last time I went they have redone the interior. The exhibits are beautiful and the taxidermy is great. I liked how concise everything was and I could easily identify the animals on display. Wonderful experience for me and my wife.

Masha Hunsaker

This is the perfect free place to take kids to see actual size animals and learn a lot. I highly recommend visiting!

Adh T. Stevens

A classic that just keeps getting better. I loved it as a kid and now my kids love it, too.

Mark Nelson

If you haven't been in a while, you are in for a very pleasant surprise. What a fun, interesting, jam-packed collection of animal exhibits.

Kacy Hutchings

Amazing short little free day trip worth your time if you like to learn more about animals in Utah!

Brock Foley

The museum is great. My toddler loves it and it is a great place to take kids needing an escape from the house in the winter. Only reason my rating is low is that one time I went and was not allowed to park in the parking lot because I am a byu student. So I had to park a quarter mile away and carry a toddler who was desperate to see the animals despite the fact that the parking lot was empty. Seems a little bit messed up but then again universitys generally don't care about their students so it should not be surprising. I get the desire to protect parking spots for museum visitors but when I am obviously there for the museum.... Anyways.

J. Ossian Hansen

Our whole family enjoyed it, but our 3 year old daughter was the cutest. She couldn't just walk through, she had to run excitedly from one exhibit to the next. Pointing and squealing with delight. Hopefully the other visitors enjoyed her enthusiasm as much as we did.

Sheila M

I really enjoyed the museum. I would definitely recommend it for everyone.

Pono Akina

I wish I had one of these as a kid. Its awesome!

Bobby Bricker

Love this free museum. Make sure and get a parking pass from the desk and then enjoy the tons of stuff you can see there.

daniel reynolds

Very nice. Had lots of fun. Great place for the kids

Adam Hansen

Such a fun experience for kids and adults.

Kingsley Allan

Wonderfully kid friendly. I was inspired by Elder Packer's carving collection

Camille Ridd Elder

Very cool museum that is kept up very well (so clean!). It is a good place to take children or go learn something new for yourself. The only thing I would change is the parking. There isnt a ton of it, and all the spots were full when I got there.

Rachel Carlson

Students can check-out animals to take home for a little while! Great for art students needing the life-drawing resources.

Zak Nowell

This place is always fun. My family has been here several times, and we love it. They have live shows that are age appropriate for all kiddos. The school I teach at goes every year and the kids love it. If you’ve got a few hours to spare, visit the bean museum!

Hannah Waite

We always love going to the Bean museum! I like the animal shows and the exhibits are fascinating. The students putting on the animal shows do a pretty good job!

Kent Redford

Excellent display of environmental and wildlife preservation based on religion.

Garrett Sinclair

This is a fun museum. We enjoy taking the kids here and seeing some fun stuff. It is a lot better with the renovations they’ve done.

Alexandra Davis

Love this place. Well enjoyed by a wide range of children and adults. We particularly love story time at 11am on Thursdays

Ryan Mitton

A great museum for all ages, especially kids. I have been to the museum many times and it does not dissapoint, the taxidermy is very well done! The elephant is amazing it is so big and looked so real, and the liger is pretty cool too.

Jonatan Lopez

This is a great place to bring your kids and have a good experience. I love it.

Nate Somsen

Date of Visit: 5/11/2019 OVERVIEW - 5.0 Came here on a whim. I acknowledge it was my wife's idea. We had a real idle Saturday, and wanted to go out and be entertained for free. LOCATION - 5 The museum is located up around the BYU campus in one of their buildings, for a Saturday it wasn't very busy. PRICE - 5 Nothing is better than free. You get much more than you pay for, I can confirm that. PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5 The museum is really well put together there is so much to see, and depending on how much detail you want to dive into can vary on how much time you spend at the museum. I would also say having children could be a factor, but they are easily entertained with all to see and do. My particular favorite section was the Humanoid Evolution section. POINTERS/PERKS - 5 If you are one that loves to learn more details about what you're looking at, bring both your phone and headphones, or earbuds. There are plenty of QR Codes throughout to see more details about the various animals. Also a parking pass is required, they are free to the public but only need to be requested at the front desk. EMPLOYEES - 5 The lady at the front desk was incredibly nice and helpful. Had a great experience!

Adam Torrie

I don't believe I visited this place but It looks quiet cool

M

Exhibits are well done

Cynthia Butcher

There are so many interesting things to look at and learn about. I took my grandkids and they loved it.

Shahrukh Najeeb

Loved the museum best place for kids . Admission is also free.

Jennifer Battraw

A fun museum for the whole family.

Jameson Larsen

All of the displays were super interesting! They have a lot of very impressive specimens here. This is a great educational place to take the family.

Patrick Kelly

Fun museum, especially for kids. Lots of little interactive displays.

nope not today

It was wonderful. Their gift store is inexpensive and it's very wholesome all in all. Their museum is very educational for the family

Heidi Barnhart Hood

I haven't been here in years and I took my kids here and some of my sisters for something to do. It was awesome! They've added a ton of stuff and expanded the building. It's suuuuuper nice and still completely free. It was a Saturday and they weren't crazy busy though there was some traffic. There's a little gift shop now, too. Basically they have a whole bunch of taxidermy animals on display. I liked the birds the most. There's a lot of African animals: a huge elephant, some giraffes, zebras, lions, gazelles, etc. There's a lot more educational information displays now and things seem more thoughtfully spread throughout the museum. There's a little play area with a little treehouse type thing with a slide and a tunnel cave with a bear head inside it, which was kinda scary for my three year old, but my one year old loves crawling through the tunnel.

Kenna Weirich

Free!! Nothing like a cool educational museum that is free! My kids loved seeing all the interesting animals and loved going to the classes they teach. They even got to pet a snake!

Michael Richardson

Almost as good as a zoo and it's free. Also like 40 kinds of pheasants if you're into that. 200 duck species.

Travis Ackermann

Was a lot more extensive than I was expecting for a free museum. Nice displays. And they are expanding.

Rex Dastrup

The remodel upstairs is looking great. The little kid play area is always a fun spot for a break.

Lynne Hetzel

Fascinating, informative, and fun! Amazing collection of animals!

Christian Lenhart

It may seem like a museum of taxidermied animals is just a holdover from an older era, but there are many things I learned here specifically because none of the animals are alive. For example, there are quite a few extinct species on display beside the existing species; I had heard the stories of passengers pigeons but had obviously never seen one. Well now I have, and I understand better how sad extinction really is. For kids there is the chance to get much closer to the animals than they ever would in a zoo, and of course the distance between exhibits is much smaller so you can see more animals in a shorter amount of time. There is also a play area with a slide and interactive displays, and if you show up at the right time there is a live animal presentation in the basement.

Trey Lee

Amazing animal display. I'm not from Utah and seeing it for free was really incredible. Definitely a great visit for a date or a family visit while in Provo area! Well worth it

Sara Hansen

This is an educational and fun experience for kids and families. The live animals shows are entertaining and my kids enjoy the seeing the exhibits.

Vicki Eccles

Wonderful place! Great for kids and adults! They have a playground and a live animal show.

Rebecca Humrich

Great, educational place to take the family (especially kids). Staff are kind and helpful, building and restrooms are clean and well stocked.

Janelle Cluff

It's been several years since we have been here and I LOVE what they have done. It is all so improved and interactivity. Highly recommend it.

Clint Johnson

The bean Life science museum as one of the great treasures of Utah county... And all of Utah as well....I will have to go on record as saying I like the older configuration better before the improvements but the building is beautiful and the emphasis on how some the general authorities interacted with the natural environment will be something that church members would love to know about. I came to the bean museum when I was a student we brought our children after I got married and now my daughter is bringing her kids so it's a multi-generational family tradition.

Savannah Grace Buchanan

Fun and interesting. Nice activities for the kids. Would recommend it

Kelv Cutler

Amazing taxidermy exhibits! They even do live demonstrations that are very educational. Really enjoyed our visit

Amy Mitchell

Free and AWESOME! Take your kids here!!

Alexis Binch

This is such a cool place! It’s really interesting seeing all of the taxidermy. I’m not a big fan of killing animals for their skins, but my friend who works there told me that most of the exhibits are at least one hundred or two hundred years old, or the animal passed on naturally. Really neat way to raise awareness for animals, and it really increases your appreciation of animals.

Tamara Nixon

Live reptile show, beautiful animal displays, interactive learning, spacious new building, fantastic gift shop!! Free admission

Flora

A favorite place to explore, discover, and talk for my niece and me. The scale of the animals--elephant, giraffe--is impressive to view from the ground level and from up above on the second floor. The educational materials are strong. The landscape mural being painted upstairs is fun to watch unfold. And we always enjoy a trip to the gift store at the end. Tip: make sure to watch the parking rules.

Allan Logsdon

Totally free, An incredibly well done museum that the kids will enjoy greatly. great for field trips and group activities!

Prestin Henze

If you are a student don't try coming if you need to drive because they won't let you use the lot unless you pay for parking. The animals they have are cool but not too many. Walk through in half an hour.

Durga Prasad Dandu

Nice place vista different kind dead animals

Jim Wheeler

Live animal demo was outstanding and very informative. The presenter was young, but very knowledgeable and u could tell she was doing what she loved as were the other employees. The overall museum was excellent and definitely focused towards young children in their informative years. This was date night for my wife and I, but bringing the grandkids made it that much more special. Can't say enough good things and at the price (free) for "Night at the Museums" it doesn't get much better than that.

Eric Peterson

When you consider the fact that this museum is FREE, it makes you realize just how awesome it is. You'd have to pay for most other museums like this. This museum is full of big and fun displays of all sorts of different animals, insects, and creatures. You name it, and they've most likely got one here. I especially love the displays of the elephant, moose, and the bear right when you walk in the door.Especially in a place like Provo full of Moms who are looking for a spot to let their kids get some wiggles out and explore, this is a great place to stop. They've got games, activities, a little play area, scavenger hunts, and they even put on little shows sometimes.

Chad Hunsaker

Free experience for all ages to get up close and personal with the exhibits of beautiful and imposing creatures. From the giraffes to the polar bear to the hundreds of birds, the feeling of awe and appreciation of the natural world and wildlife. I was 5 when I first visited and it was impressive then. But the new reconstruction it allows you to step into the world transported

Joshua Pfost

Such a fun little place to go with the family. It's free and well put together.

Heidi M Gunn

The whole family went and had so much fun

Andrew Stewart

Bro. Bean would be so proud! And Tanner, a museum educator, gave my kids and me a great side demonstration of other animals, pelts, etc.

David Kener

This is a great place for kids. It's like going to the zoo without all the walking.

Josh Smith

I have been going to this museum since I was a little boy! I have had the opportunity to take my kiddos several times. It is a great way to spend time with family and friends! Amazing animals, from all over!

Nathan Day

Great museum to take your family! Wonderful range of animal displays! The Boyd K Packer carvings and predators are fantastic!

C Snow

Always a perfect spot for the younger kids. We can spend hours here and still go back the next and find more to do.

Kristy Nuttall

We love the Bean Museum! The collections are really well presented and educational. This is a great place for a family outing, and they also have really well organized, fun, and affordable themed date nights.

Daniel Maughan

Took lots of the grandkids and had a good time!

Douglas Decker

Free, educational, and cool animals to look at.

Sam Ramos

I can’t believe what has changed from the days that I used to go to field trips there as a kid. Every time feels like an adventure and the older you get the more you notice and the more questions you ask. Great place to go as a family.

jamie davis

A lot of fun, great family event a must do

Nathan Gubler

Kept teenagers and 8 year old equally entertained.....

Marissa Stam

This museum has improved a lot over the years. It's great to go for free and see animals at full scale!

Rowdy Hall

It's really cool you can get so close to an elegant or giraffe. Can't beat the price either. Free!

Nathan Corry

We loved it. Especially the live animal presentation. They brought out the bearded dragon and a pack man toad. The presentation was great.

Travis C

This museum is filled with a variety of animals with informative information and displays. At the front desk you can grab an age appropriate scavenger hunt to complete during your stay. There are 2 main levels with stairs and an elevator. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. Great place to go with children or on a date.

Lynn Mcdowell

There is something for everyone. My grandkids let me it.

Seth Hippen

My kid calls it the taxidermy zoo.

Santiago Carrasco

Great place to spend time with the family, great for kids and is free!

Rachel

The exhibits and live animal shows are well-done and professional, and are suited for elementary- to middle school-aged kids. The presenter did an excellent job of asking questions and receiving kids’ answers well. For toddlers and babies, there is a little play area with a slide. Minus a star because it is almost always crowded and overrun by older kids.

Veronica Adams

Best free museum. Kids loved it and so did i. You must check it out for yourself.

Gary Wright

Wow. This place was awesome. Kids and adults will love this place. And free... Can't believe this place.

Andrew Larson

A great place to take kids for an hour on a Saturday. The exhibits are well thought out and you can obviously get much closer to these stuffed animals than those at the zoo, so it's a unique experience. We had a contest to see which kid could best imitate a given animal's pose the best which resulted in some great shots, if you need an idea of what to do there to make things more interesting.

Nikota Lee

I rally enjoy the Bean Museum. It's a free museum which helps when you dont have a lot of money to spend but wanna do something fun with your family. The kids love seeing the life sized animals! It's not huge enough to be overwhelming for little ones but also big enough to enjoy yourself for at least an hour.

Kayla Jett

I have always enjoyed going to the Bean Museum! They have an amazing collection of animals. Their waterfowl exhibit is the most complete collection in the country (at leas that is what I remember). The Titanaboa travelling exhibit was totally awesome! The Bean Museum is a great day trip to go and learn about animals that you wouldn't normally see.

Stephen Pulsipher

A great biology museum. Lots of interesting little exhibits. Good for kids. Does a good job of briefly discussing evolution in the context of the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Craig Butler

This museum is filled with lots of fun and education experiences for my kids and myself. They have a large collection of animals to exhibit, a little playground/slide area as well for a break for the kids, some interactive games about insects. The basement has a small auditorium with a live animal exhibit. My kids really liked it. You'd want to check the schedule online before going. I take the kids every other year or so and they keep changing enough things for the kids to enjoy it each time.

Andrew Masters

Super cool place for family and even friends when they bring out the dinosaur displays, super cool history and glad they have it here!

Micah Brown

I've been to this museum years ago and it was so simple. They have really up the experience and now it's really cool. By far the best free museum I've ever been too. Also have good activities for kids.

Maria Cameron

We have made it our tradition to at least attend the museum each spring break. My boys love all the animals and they always learn something new each time. It is such a nice perk to be able to attend for free. We have been following the progress of the beautiful mural upstairs and can't wait to see it finished. We always finish off the trip with ice cream just around the corner at the BYU creamery.

Miriam Tracy

It is very fun and family friendly. But I really miss the quiet, old Bean Museum.

Janae Stubbs

Great exhibits! Family friendly, clean bathrooms, interesting live animal shows. Great place to learn and be inspired.

Chad Manuele

Free and amazing...love the bugs and the liger. The wolves are scary. The Kodiak and Polar bears are awesome.

justin orner

Pretty cool place. Free to get in. Free parking pass. Life size displays of a very wide range of wild life and live shows in an auditorium. My kids and i were fully entertained for a couple hours or more and surely learned a thing or 2 in the process. They have a neat little gift shop that fits any budget aswell.

Jason Jordan

Great place to bring kids, and free last time we went. They have a lot to see and the building is nice.

Adelaide Adair

So much fun for kids and adults! I took my one year old and she was just all over the place loving it.

Brooke .Carroll

Sweet atmosphere, lots of amazing things to see. Great for taking the kids and family out. Beautiful building, all nicely done. And it's free.

yves rollin

Great displays, especially liked the water fowls

Ben Daniel

Love taking my kids here and checking out all the animals. Solid free activity for family night out.

Spencer Buchanan

One of my favorite museums. And it's free. It is simple and has many displays. From what I understand most of the animals was from a private hunting collection which can be controversial, but it is used as an educational tool now which is great. There is a little that is intractable or touchable but much is no touch. The 2 year old can enjoy as well as the 13 year old.

Catherine Sherwood

So well layed out, informative and fun. We really liked the animal show. The girl did such a good job of educating everyone about our Utah habitat.

Kyle Murray

The upstairs predator exhibit is remarkable. And the presentation in the basement is wonderful for kids 10 and under. And... Best of all, it's all free.

Koli V.

It's an interesting museum filled with lots of interesting stuff for kids to enjoy.

Brady Nielsen

So much to learn here and the live animal shows are well worth it. The parking situation is a little crazy. You have to park, go in and get a validation and then take it back out to your car.

Trent Nielson

Wonderful Life Sciences Museum for all ages! We took our toddlers to the evening show and they got pretty restless but it was definitely fun. Our kids ( 4 & under) love the little slide area in the back of the main level.

Earle Wells

Incredible wildlife displays. (And, it's free!) Don't miss it!

Brett McKell

Wow it is a great place to pique young minds imagination at curiosity. Love the bird exhibit.

Adree Fairbanks

Love this FREE taxidermy museum! The variety of animals on display is outstanding and my one year old had fun playing on the kid slide in the kid section. I'm also a 2nd grade teacher, and this facility does excellent FREE field trips, complete with a live animal show. Highly recommend!

Rachel Whitlock

Free and amazing. Great for kids. Spend about an hour here.

Bryce Twede

This is a great place for the family. I'm amazed that it's free. You do have to ask for a free parking pass at the front desk. There's a lot to see and experience and they've done a great job with the exhibits and making them fun/educational for the kids. The museum was where my wife and I went on our first date and things worked out for us so I highly recommend it ;)

Utah Driver

It's a great place to take the kids.

Claudie Banner

Awesome! A must see!

Carolyn Dearden

It's a fun place to go. It is an wildlife museum, not a museum about beans. The remodel they did a few years ago really improved and updated things. It's free and there are cool animal shows sometimes (check the schedule). It's like going to the zoo, but without the smell.

Katie Bakker

Fun and informative! They even have a little play section for kids, which I wasn't expecting. Definitely a good way to spend a cold, rainy morning. I was slightly confused at the parking situation. You just have to go inside and get a permit and then you're good to go!

Jason Dayley

Good mix of kids stuff and more grown people type science stuff. Maybe not a destination unto itself unless you're local, but a great addition to a stop at BYU.

Selica Villela

Can't believe this museum is free! Great variety of animals.

Mary K Larson

Great museum but they were refinishing a floor and room and the smell made me and my daughter sick

Nathan Kenner

This is a lot of fun, especially during holiday events!

Matt Mitchell

Great museum my kids love it! There is a small play area for kids and the animals are situated i really unique fun to look at situations, especially the apex predators area! Must see if spending some time in Provo. Oh yeah its FREE!

Abhishek Amalaraj

A nice and fun place

Melissa Jensen

Wonderful place to bring kids or go on a cheap date night.

Casandra Yorgason

How is this free? It's so updated, interactive, and educational. I love it so much!

Kate Moore

Great experience for kids and adults of all ages. Fun little play area on the main floor, lots of displays to look at and plenty for kids to learn about. Free admission, but make sure you get parking validation or they will charge you. It's a little annoying to have to park, go in and get the parking ticket, then go back out to put it in your vehicle (required or you'll be charged) but other than that we enjoyed ourselves.

Heather Oxborrow

This museum has a lot of different animals and great displays. There is a lot of information and great for kids! I enjoyed that they had several options for scavenger hunts for kids ranging from toddlers to upper grade elementary school.

Scott Craig

We came here for an FHE for our YSA group which was kind of a lame FHE because we're not five years old, but the animals were cool. Great for learning to draw and getting up close to cool taxidermied animals. 4/5 stars because there were no beans to be found, so the name is really misleading.

Daron Aquino

This isn't your parents' Bean Museum. They've put in a lot of work into the renovation. I personally think they made it feel like the New York Natural History Museum.

Drake Cottman

Great place to take the family. My 1 year old and 3 year old love it, and we go on average once a month. Everything is free (apart from the gift shop), and you can even schedule private live animal shows for free if you want to have a birthday party or a play date with your kids' friends.

Bethany Taylor

Such a fun museum! Sooo many animals that I had never seen before (along with the classic favorites). My husband and I enjoyed it and I was really surprised at how much my 1-year-old liked it! Best of all, it's FREE. They do have a donation box and a gift shop with some really cute & decently priced merchandise. This is the only picture I took while we were there, but it shows that they have a lot of unique animals too.

Gary Dusbabek

We enjoy going here with the grandchildren reach and every time. Appreciate the cleanliness and spaciousness of the facility. We love to see the added features each time as they are so different. A great place to take your loved ones each time!

Nathan St. Andre Photography

Good place for kids and for research

Danielle Schwab

We love going to story time where they bring out live animals. Usually they bring one the kids can pet.

S. J.

It's free but you should donate. Family friendly and worth a visit every few months if you have little ones. I grew up coming here and my kids love it too.

David Tomlinson

It's a decent free museum, but probably wouldn't take you longer than an hour to do the entire things. Sometimes they bring live animals to showings in the auditoriums. Wished they more things for kids to actually touch though.

Christopher Higham

Not bad for a free museum. Plenty of variety without being too overwhelming.

Mailea Armatage

Absolutely amazing to see the variety of animals they have here. Worth it every time I go, and I have been many times.
