The space shuttle booster is the best part about the rocket garden. Stopped by just before the Omega static fire in May 2019. A must see for anyone interested in the aerospace history

HERE is a wonderful hidden TREASURE!!! From the space race of the '60's, to today's latest and greatest space exploration AND National Defence, there is an element of greatness on exhibit here by providing the casings and hulls of rocket engines and missile motors. If you knew where to look, one can find the mating surfaces where the O-rings were used for the Space Shuttle boosters. This is an EXCELLENT place to study and learn of the FASCINATING history of rocket propulsion. Next door are the engineering and manufacturing facilities, complete with the fuel mixing stations. Watch for the fire evacuation slides. Also nearby is the Golden Spike Transcontinental railroad museums!!!!!!

Mark Boyer

A worthwhile stop when traveling to Golden Spike. A good display of rockets with information for each one.

LINDA HOPKINS

Interesting free park if you like rockets and such.

Dennis Lane

Pretty neat to see so many thing up close that I've heard of but never seen until this May. It's laid out very well, & takes a good hour or two to walk around, & read all the signage in front all the items displayed. It's very informative & educational. It's a little ways off the beaten path, but if your into seeing & learning about U.S. historic rocket power whether it's use was/is for Space, or Military, this is stop definitely worth your time.

A lot of history is packed into this small area! My kids love running around inside the section of the Shuttle's SRB accessible on the ground. The whole display turns imaginations from terra firma the clouds and possibilities above.

Bill Hart

Great display

I love all these rockets. I think it's amazing to see the side booster from the shuttle missions here. They have the different signs with the names of the rockets and they explain the historical significance behind each of the rockets with the years to help put them into context. There are even a couple you can get inside to see a close up of.

J Brew

If you're interested in the history of technology, this rocket exhibit is worth checking out. It's off the beaten path but it's quite a collection. A few more signs that give the context would be useful. Also, if you need a restroom, you will need to drive elsewhere. This exhibit is close to the Golden Spike Historic site (about 7 miles) and it would be worth combining the two in one visit.

It was really cool to see up close. I wouldn't come here just for that. But if you're near the Golden Spike or the Spiral Jetty then have a quick stop in for sure.

Tera Lynn Gray

Fun displays with interesting information. Large grass area for kids to get out some energy. Kids also enjoyed yelling to each other through the hollow, cylindrical rocket booster. No public bathrooms.

Great place to stop when going to Golden spike or spiral jetti

Jill Trochinski

If you are going to be in the area this is definitely a neat thing to see. I would not go out of my way to see it but we were only 2 miles away after visiting the golden spike historical monument. The rockets are cool and it's amazing how big they all are.

Elaine Felix

Cool place to see how huge the rockets can be.

The Rocket Garden is located along Utah Hwy 83, outside the headquarters of the Northrup Grumman building located in Corinne. Listed as a museum, the outside display contains numerous older NASA or military rockets and missles. Each piece has a sign that describes its history and military specifications. If visiting Promontory to visit the Golden Spike National Historic Site, visiting here is a no-brainer if interested in rockets or military history. It is located just a couple miles north on Ut-83 from the turnoff to Golden Spike. So it's very easy to combine this outdoor "rocket museum" with a visit to the National Park.
