You will be able to see the reviews of people who bought the services of Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum (Museum) around Texas area.
At the moment the firm receives a rating of 4.7 out of 5 and the rating is based on 1367 reviews.
You must have seen that it reaches an feddbacks average is virtually the highest, and it is based on a very large number of opinions, so we can conclude that the score is quite faithful. If people have bothered to give their opinion when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to set reviews when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Museum belongs to the category of Museum.
Great place to visit.
Great field trip with my Dad. Not too big but very informative.
Great history in this place and awesome things to read and see. Definitely recommend taking a tour and check it out. Just make sure you have the time to look at everything.
I walked throughout the museum and enjoyed it very much The movie is a must see. There are a couple of rocking horses for the little ones. The paintings are really good for the most part although most seem to be of recent vintage. The pistols and rifles seem to be original I was impressed with the display of an original Bowie knife from 1838. This museum is right off I-35 in Waco Texas and real easy to find.
We saw the water, walked through the walking trail while seeing all the beautiful and colorful rocks on the columns of the bridge, the lake looked beautiful and full of life even though it was night time. The bridge lights grabbed most of the attention with the passive blues and purples reflecting all over the water. We were able to see the McLane Stadium front entrance and some of the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame statues. There were even picnic tables all over to sit down and enjoy the view that not many get to experience at night.
Very informative, lot of history about the State of Texas. Enjoyed the video shown in the hall of fame. Friendly staff.
I was interested in the history of how they started. The guided tour was very interesting.
This is an interesting museum about the Texas Rangers past and present. If you enjoy looking at a collection of different types of guns, you will definitely enjoy this museum. The gift shop offers a good selection of items.
Lots of information on this law agency and their part on shaping Texas history. Also fun media view of the Rangers.
Neat museum. Lots of history. Well laid out and preserved. Worth visiting. Interesting.
Fun and educational. Great way for a vintage firearms enthusiast to spend an afternoon.
Certainly one of the largest collections of firearms I’ve seen. Very interesting history of The Rangers!
This place is full of history and information on the Texas Rangers. Worth the trip to check it out.
We learned so much about the amazing men and women who have served and are still serving as Texas Rangers. The 45 minute documentary was very interesting and helpful to understand the history.
Enjoyed it. The movie makes a good starting point. Couple of hours is best.
The museum is a large and sprawling place where you can go room to room at your own pace, which is nice. They do have a large media space in the center with very informative videos that play at specific times. The museum is a must see if you are a classic six shooter gun nut as ther are old revolvers on every wall and covering almost every model used. The nice touch is a small room dedicated to the TV show "The Lone Ranger", a favorite show of my youth. I f you are in Waco, definitely stop by for a few hours and visit.
Awesome..nice set up and lots of things to see. Movie was interesting.
Great history lesson. Loved it. Will go back.
Very interesting and I learned some new stuff.
If you like history then you will want to visit this museum. They have laid out many old guns, Mexican saddles, pictures from the beginning on through the early 1900s and up to more modern times. They even have a depiction of the Bonnie and Clyde capture. A must see is the movie telling the story of how the Texas Rangers were started. I can't say enough about the people representing this museum. They are kind, curtious and considerate and always smiling.
Very interesting. History. Watch the film! Enjoyed all of it. (Return visit) helpful associates. If don't know answer they found out!
They learned all about the texas rangers as a whole and how they helped settle the state.
The lady at the front desk was overwhelmingly helpful to my wife, in her questions about her great great grandfather who was a Texas Ranger in the late 1800's as a Captain of Company B. She spent time giving us points of contacts that will help in my wife's research.
Great place. So much to see and read about. You could spend a couple of hours there taking it all in. Here are a few pictures of what is there.
Home of Lone Wolf McQuade Extensive History of the Texas Rangers with lots of artifacts and stories, not boring. But you can just walk through for a quicker version if you want.
Fun quick stop if wanting to learn about the Texas rangers, very cool place. Nice helpful people too.
If you love law enforcement or history this stop is for you. There is a 45 minute video that is shown several times through out the day that outlines the history of the Texas Ranger however it is quite outdated. The museum itself could benefit from some organization as the same rangers belongings can be seen throughout the museum in multiple places. It is self guided walk through and a lot of reading, however it is neat to see the actual items used. Overall I wouldn’t recommend making a special trip to go here.
Very cool museum. Filled with a lot of fun an educational exhibits. Definitely worth going through if you have interest
Very interesting. If you miss this you will be sorry. Watch the video while you're there. It will tell you a lot of info you didn't know about the rangers.
Great Texas ranger material. Gun displays are great. For this type of museum it was presented well
Very interesting. Lots of good ole Texas history. More guns here than a gun show.
Pretty cool place, you definately have to visit once in your lifetime. Lots of informative displays.
It took us about 3 hrs to give a good look at all the artifacts and curated cases, dioramas they have here. If you love history, or the west, you will find plenty to fascinate you, your family, your students, here.
well worth the experience great history
Interesting and well curated collection. Great for history and law enforcement buffs. Would not recommend for children under 7 - not much to hold their interest. They should change the name to Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Firearm Museum.
Very interesting. I will go back again one day to spend more time reading. The family lost interest before I did. Have wanted to go for a long time. Museum is much larger than I'd anticipated.
Cool museum, awesome subject and things on display. Some of the organization could be improved to have a more clear progression through time.
Lots of history here for such a small building. There's an amazing firearms display. The video, though a bit old is very much worth watching. Highly recommended if you're in the area with some time to kill.
I went here on vacation and there is so much information packed in this place it is amazing
If you're interested in the Texas Rangers, then this is the museum you want to visit. This place is awesome!
Incredibly interesting facts on the history of Texas Rangers. There are a lot articles on display to show just how far we have come. There was not a lot to interact with or personnel to elaborate on some of the details. With such a fascinating career and always full of action I was hoping for more.
Such a great museum! The movie they run is definitely worth your time. Rich in history and the displays have so much to look at. Worth the price off admission.
Well worth the trip. Very educational.
Neat place. Plenty to look at and a lot of cool period era items, including a great selection of firearms, on display. You will learn plenty about the Texas Rangers! LEO and Military / Veterans have reduced admission price.
Loved visiting the museum. Have always respected the Rangers but surely learned more of their history. All that history in one place is spectacular. A must see!
We had a great time. Wonderful tribute to the Texas Rangers. See the movie first before you tour the museum.
It's a really great place to have a party. It's big and spacious. Good place to have prom or a wedding.
Incredible. Love the movie on the history.
The Texas Rangers museum is probably one of the best organized law enforcement museums in the world. It contains memorabilia from the very beginning of the Texas Rangers. Some of the most famous Rangers and some of the most famous cases are documented here there is a video for those who would like to sit and look at the history of the Texas Rangers and there is a largest gun display that I have ever seen. This museum is worth going out of your way to see
This was an okay stop. While they offer a military and law enforcement discount for entry if you are neither of these I would say it's a little pricey for what it is. The best part was probably the video they show that was done by History Channel lots of good info there.
Very interesting, and good historical facts and memorabilia ( guns , badges, saddles, pictures etc. )
We had a wonderful time there yesterday my husband and I actually spent three and a half hours looking we probably could have spent another 30 minutes easily reading all of the history in everything that they had offer. We listen to the ranger forum. Very interesting. Then we had a movie that was 45 minutes long on the history of the Texas Rangers. The seats were comfortable the climate was cool and the movie was really interesting. I would highly recommend.
Wanted to visit for a long time. It was ok but if you love guns you will love this place.
A lot more interesting and exciting than expected! Filled with displays and artifacts. A great movie on the history of the Rangers. A few hands on interactive exhibits. Overall a great experience in a nice building with friendly and knowledgeable staff!
Had a nice business event here. friendly people and a nice piece of property
Plan at least 3 hours on site to effectively see the exhibits. I enjoyed it but didn't leave myself enough time.
If you are 8nterested in historical law enforcement, you might enjoy this museum.
It is definitely a place to get a piece of Texas past as well as it's present and future. Hioh silver away!!!!
Great and informative.we really enjoyed the museum and the video of the History of the Texas Rangers
Very nice place to learn about the Texas Rangers history.
Loved it. Neat displays of historical artifacts and a good video presentation of Ranger history. Well worth the money!
The displays we're very well done. They have the info and told the stories I was hoping to hear. The video wasn't on par with the rest of the museum: an old History Channel VHS video. Hopefully they can invest in a new video.
Learned a lot of how the Texas Rangers Started and history.
Full of information. Fun scavenger hunt for kids. Kind people running the museum.
We visited here with 4 adults and 4 kids ages 6 months to 11 years. I'm not a history buff or a museum lover, but doing the scavenger hunt with the kids kept us all entertained. I liked the video and the interactive things like putting together a revolver, and dressing up like a ranger.
Amazing history, great exhibits, needs to be updated perhaps a listening tour. Showing its age, but is well kept, movie was showed needs to get digital update still using VCR.
An absolute awesome experience that I'm actually down to go back to again. You can't really absorb it all in one visit. From the exhibits to the video presentation, you're gonna be impressed with the information stored and presented. Absolutely worth at least two visits!
Look, if you are coming to town, don't skip this opportunity to learn about a unique force of public safety and enforcement. Adajecent history with the state of Texas and the brave men & women of the Texas Rangers.
Great experience. So much history there. We were amazed at the longevity of the rangers. Veterans got in free Memorial Day weekend. Low prices for uniform wearers.
If you are interested in the Texas Rangers then this would be an awesome stop. Text intensive. Challenging scavenger hunt. Very long documentary film(45min).
Learned lots, great displays, with only one exception. There is no such thing as a semi-auto pump shotgun. What else was wrong?
This place was awesome. Lots of history and guns about Texas. Great film show in the back.
Lots of good history and the scavenger hunt for the kids is great to get them involved and reading some of the signs.
If you watch the film first the rest of the museum comes alive. So much history is there, people's stories and things that they use to survive. Beautifully displayed I totally recommended.
Amazing place, no many people know it, we go with friends when they come to visit.
It was interesting and set up nicely
This Museum saved the whole trip to Waco and Magnolia/$ilo$... I enjoyed More History learned in an hour than when I was in school. It's a must see and stay and watch the movie history presentation they have inside... I'm Proud to be a Texan even More! The most impressive weapons I've ever seen!
Great place to visit lots of displays detailed information on the history of the Rangers.
Loved the movie about history of theTexas Rangers. The displays were very interesting, and beautifully arranged. Fun outing for adults and children of any generation. Staff is extraordinary. Can answer questions, and take group photos. This will be a "go-to" outing to take out-of-state visitors! Great way to help them understand the history and culture of Texas.
It was nice to be able to look around on your own pace. And learn and teach my children part of the history or the rangers. My son who was 7 had a great time looking at all the uniform in attire they wore
Very interesting. Takes more time than we think to view. Lots of reading. Large gun collections. History!
Historic Stories and some hands-on displays. Very interesting museum with family tributes to specific rangers. Lots of fancy guns to see.
I wish I had have more time to see everything they have there. A Lot of history I didn't know about and the displays are out standing!
Great history of the Texas Rangers. Awesome gun history. Loved the displays
I really enjoyed the museum, you should check it out. It has a lot of history in that building and the firearms section is amazing!
This place is a must see so educational. So much detail. I loved all the artwork. Really nice gift shop.
Definitely worth the visit. If you like Texas history and you like guns, there are few places that will impress you like the Texas Ranger museum
This guy look like the one in the tv show ,this was also a fun place to go
If in Waco, this place can be interesting. They have small arm artifacts and other items as well. I did find it interesting that their photo hall of fame of agents past, were not too diverse. Very white male centric. I guess the Texas Rangers aren't as diversified as the baseball team in Arlington with the same name.
We loved visiting The Texas Ranger Museum. We especially e jilted listening to Texas Ranger Matt C. The museum has a great setup and the way it flows. So much history and information, is great. The gift store is also a treat. Bought some books, key chain, horsehair wrist bracelet, and a lapel pin. We look forward to visiting again.
Alot of items and history. Many fine firearms. Schedule two or more hours.
Awesome experience. Loved it. It's a must visit for history enthusiast...
Amazing place to visit and learn the history of the Texas Rangers. Lot of old weapons, pictures, clothing and stories
Interesting, educational, but yet very confusing! 1. $$ a bit on the Expensive side - $19 for 2 adults and 1 Child 11 years old. Only $1 off for my husband military discount! 2. Exhibit - You will receive a map with all the different sections indicating the main topic in each section. However, I did not find a logical flow to the museum. I found it very disorganized. They need to update for a more friendly, interactive museum. The displays are full, it is overwhelming. 3. The movie - The 45 minutes movie is located at the end of the museum. It is very educative, gives you a lot of information about the history of the Texas Ranger. However, I wish I would have done it first to understand each exhibit better! I noticed a lot of people were dozing off during the movie. They need to update their presentation, it's kind of boring! (not the content but the presentation). A mandatory presentation of about 25 to 30 minutes prior to exploring the museum would be so helpful to understand the exhibit better. Setting up two rooms in order to be able to offer a presentation of 30 minutes every 15 minutes. 4. Kid-Friendly - They offer a Scavenger hunt which kept my 11 years old son interested and engaged. That was awesome! 5. Plan about 2 to 3 hours to Enjoy the full Museum including the movie. 6. The Gift Shop - Disappointed by the supplies and the prices. We always buy a souvenir everywhere we go. I could not find anything that I felt like I have to have it! Overall, we loved the content of the museum as it was very educational. However, they have some TLC to organize it and make it more interactive.
A must for anyone seeking knowledge about Texas history, Bonnie and Clyde's history, DPS, and all of this is next to the Brazos river. There's a historic cemetery and minutes to many attractions such as the East Terrace Estate, Dr. Pepper museum, Chip and Joanna Gains' Magnolia, and the Cameron park.
Have been here a few times. I love Law Enforcement history and firearms history, so this is a must see for me. They also have a nice section about Bonnie and Clyde, as well as information about Texas' early history and civil issues. The staff is also friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend it for locals and visitors alike. Waco has so much history to offer that is often overlooked.
Interesting place to visit and learn some history about the Texas Rangers.
Lots of history and it's nicely displayed. Employees are so helpful and nice. Support your law enforcement!! They have a scavenger hunt for the kiddos and they learn while having fun searching for certain items.
Great little place with tons of historical information.
Very interesting. Lots of history. But hard to read the displays, should be in front of not at the back of.
If you live in Texas or just visiting, going to the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame is a must. I enjoyed learning about thier history and all they do... even today.
Came with my fiancé for a Romantic walk.
I went to the museum with my children who really liked it. There were so many interesting things to see dealing with the entire history of the Texas Rangers. The guns on display alone were amazing! The staff is very friendly as well.
Most informative and I liked it very much.
history... good exhibits.. see the video
If you like cowboys, guns and badges, you will love this place. Not really suited to children however. They will find it boring.
We really enjoyed it. Not too large to see in one visit. Lots of great history.
What a nice place. Took my kids. They had never been to Texas and never heard of a Texas Ranger, so it was fun. And before you ask... yes, there was a Chuck Norris exhibit.
This museum provides an outstanding history of the Texas Rangers from inception to present day. I spent an hour viewing the exhibits. The gift shop offers extensive Texas Rangers themed souvenirs. The movie shown takes 45 minutes to watch from beginning to end. I enjoyed visiting this important piece of Texas history.
So much 2 see. Plan on spending a few hours.
This museum chronicles the history of the Texas Rangers laid out from its inception to modern day displays. Large rooms filled with photos, weapons and memorabilia documenting all things Texas Rangers. There is a theater area which highlights the Texas Rangers past and most notorious cases. Spend a couple of hours and enjoy this very interesting location.
This place is why we drove an hour south to Waco. Amazing. You're immersed in the border struggles of 1840, the capture of Bonnie and Clyde, gorgeous pictures and stories of Texas history, and honoring the brave men who protected our land.
Awesome history within those walls...loved it and many go again so much to learn about...
Amazing place I recommend everyone that comes to Waco must stop and check it out.
If you love guns and history and guns and guns, this is the place for you.
Great place to visit, specially to see the history about Bonnie and Clyde
The Texas ranger museum is a great place to take your family. The have many different exhibits for you and your family. They even have scavenger papers for your little ones so the won't be boreded off. Definitely a place where I would take my own children.
It was great, lots of history to see and learn all in one building
Awesome! My friend got married there at the venue! Amazing! I recommend anyone there! Great waiters and waitresses!!!
Great find! The museum has plenty to keep you busy with a great staff and lots of souvenirs to bring home. Dont pass this place by on your next visit.
Awesome display of history for this amazing law enforcement group. The introduction movie is informative and very well produced. Definitely worth the price of admission.
Good history... Very interesting!
Texas history brought to life, great exhibits
Really interesting with all of the pictures and memorabilia.
This was a great time. I learned a lot and had fun doing it.
Great History lesson. Wonderful evidence of service to a community and country
If you're into history stuff, you need to go. I mean come on, it's the TEXAS RANGERS.
Worth going to see. Best museum in Waco.
This is a small museum. It honors and tells the stories of those who served for the Texas Rangers. I found the layout to be disjointed.
We absolutely loved our visit. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
A fun place to visit especially if you like history.
Nice selection of ranger memorabilia and information. If you like learning about the Texas rangers of old and new this is a wonderful experience to behold.
Great time with kids! They got really into the scavenger hunt.
A lot of history about the Texas Rangers from their beginnings to modern day. So many stories and artifacts to help tell the stories. A lot of art too.
A really very informative and fun place to go.
Oh the History you find here!!! It is AMAZING!!! I had no idea how deep the Texas Rangers went back in history. If you go through Waco it is a must to visit!!
The Good the bad and ugly..Stay Strong America. ...we are a HISTORY of a great Young Nation..Hoooo rah!
Surprisingly big with tons of exhibits
We arrived with only 1 and 1/2 hours till closing. You need way more time to get through all the displays and watch the movie. We enjoyed every minute. It's a beautiful tribute to some very brave men and women!!
Amazing tribute to the Texas Rangers. Although my wife was expecting a baseball museum, it was very clear within about 8 seconds this was for another king of Ranger. I enjoyed the movie and the gift store and even my young girls enjoyed themselves and came away informed and entertained.
For fans of history, there is a lot to see here. A lot of history of firearms through the years. Enjoyed learning about the Rangers history. Didn't watch the movie so can't comment on that. It was $8 which was a little high, but probably what they have to charge to stay afloat.
Great place to learn about Texas law enforcement. Great time touring the facility. Many things to see.
This place is filled with early western history. Even the stopping of Bonnie & Clyde by a Texas Ranger.
Great place to learn about the history and legacy of the famed Texas Rangers. Had a great time. Lots of beautifully engraved guns too!!!
Unbelievable amount of information and history on guns as well.
A must place to visit in Waco, Texas. I Love Texas!
Must see! Had a great time looking at the history of such an elite group
I was pumped to finally get to visit this place. There is so much to see and read and since we got there an hour and 45 mins before closing, we had to rush through quite a bit of it. We watched the video, and it was really nice to have some more perspective before reading through all of the displays. There are also some cool interactive displays, such as a pistol reload and assembly and other items of that nature. Wonderful museum overall, and if I have time in the future, I’ll have to stop by again.
Great to see the history of the Rangers. Fantastic displays throughout the museum. Well worth the time to see. God bless the Texas Rangers
Fascinating museum. Worth a visit to lean the entire history of the Texas Rangers.
Cool place if you follow Texas Rangers, are in law enforcement or are just a Bonnie and Clyde junkie. Lots to see, historical movie And lots of old historical firearms.
What an amazing place. Highly recommend. Clean and friendly staff. Very informative place with a great agenda.
The people their are extremely friendly AND helpful. It is simple to navigate, clean, and has many of artifacts and information to look at. I'd say it is the perfect place to bring your families where they can not only have fun but HAVE FUN LEARNING
They have a lot of guns and interesting pieces of history to look at! It is a lot of reading and it seems like some things could be updated.
Awesome Texas Ranger Museum. Was so thrilled to see they honoured Chuck Norris for his Walker Texas Ranger Show.
A place full of history and artifacts related to the Texas Rangers from the earliest days to the present. Well worth the very reasonable admission.
A great museum. A wonderful and breath taking collection of Texas Ranger history.
Probably the best museum in Waco - it does a good job of covering the history of the celebrated Texas Rangers. There's even a library if you're doing research on them.
