A must stop FREE!!!! Museum in Hillsboro TX. It's not that they have cool items on display. It's that they have the ACTUAL item from a particular person in History.

We visited one Fall afternoon. Everything we saw was quite interesting. The lady there was very polite and attentive. We liked the layout of interesting items and pictures. Gave us a sense of pride in our country's history. Highly recommend this museum!

The Texas heritage museum is a jewel. It provides information that is surprising in the quality and how much is given. These small Texas museums are always a joy to find and visit.

This is the BEST Texas Heritage Museum I have ever been too! So clean and the most nice people! If you want to journey through wartime. I took a group of senior's and they want to go again!

The museum itself is neat, but the attitude of the staff was enough to make us not want to return. We got there 15 minutes before closing, understanding that we needed to rush through, which we did. When we got back up to the front, we wanted to step into the last small room just for a quick glance, and maybe quickly purchase a souvenir after. That didn't happen. We were told to leave at 3.59. they close at 4pm . The lady was very rude and very short. She did tell us it was free to come back another day even though they have a big donation box next to the sign in sheet. We told her we were from out of town, she said well I'm sorry you have to leave now. When we got back out side to the car the time was 4pm.
