DESCRIPTION

You have all the opinions of real people like you who bought the products of Texas Forestry Museum (Museum) in the area close to the state of Texas.

Right now the business has a score of 4.8 over 5 and that score has been calculated on 106 reviews.

You must have seen that the average of ratings that it reaches is nearly the top, and it's founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may say that the score is quite faithful. If people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, it works.

You know that we don't usually stop to set tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

This Museum belongs to the category of Museum.

Fantastic museum. Incredible displays, and the trains ouside were awesome.

Melanie Enger

Love this museum. The staff is constantly making improvement. They now have a gaga ball pit. My older kids love it. And there are lots of indoor activities if it's too hot for outdoor play.

John R Cerasuolo

Wonderfully done museum that is free. They do a great job of displaying all of the products that come from the forest and the hard work it takes to get them to market. The trains out back were a treat and the entire family lived it. Don't forget the short nature trail out back that labels dozens of trees and has interesting facts about them.

The new building sucks but it is still the best Forestry Museum around. There is no nature trail anymore since they filed the insurance claim of all trees lost even though that trail was intact after the tornado. They just bulldozed the entire thing and made part of it a parking lot. But there are 5 Pokestops and a Pokegym.

We really enjoyed the museum. Admission is FREE but donations are gratefully accepted. We decided to check it out since it was too chilly to hike at the State Park. There is a great hands on area for the kids to play. My kids really enjoyed the train and vehicles on the backside of the property but it was really cold and we couldn't stay out in that weather for too long.

Nathan Explosion

I love this place, it's free to enter, very informative, and has an interactive exhibit for children. Almost everything that has anything to do with trees and logging is at this museum. What a neat little place! This is definitely a fun way to spend an afternoon, whether it be with kids or adults. It's really interesting reading about forestry in East Texas and seeing all the pictures. This museum is free to visit, all they ask for is donations if you have them. I usually donate a couple dollars whenever I go. There's a little trail you can walk around on in the back, with markers showing you which tree is which, and you can even get in the old steam engine! I'd recommend this if you're looking for an interesting, free thing to do in Lufkin.
