Very cool experience. It's not on the tourist grid yet so it might be a solo guide with your own historian. You have to check in at the old library. Tours every two hours. The drive you down to the house and walk you through, room by room at your own pace. The videos we're very informative. The docemt was very knowledgeable. Neat experience to tie to the Jfk museum.

This tour was awesome. We had our own guide and he was very very knowledgeable. He was kind enough to answer all of our questions!! I highly recommend this! If you are taking the JFK tour and don't fit this in, you are missing out.

Had fun taking my scout to this museum! They had interactive exhibits and lots of history of scouting. We were able to do a trivia scavenger hunt and earn a prize! Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised!!

“Awesome find!” I'm not surprised that all the reviews of this place are EXCELLENT. It's truly a great little museum! It is very spooky and odd to see the shower stall where Lee Harvey Oswald got ready to go down to the Texas Schoolbook Depository. Likewise, to see the photos and be IN THE HOUSE, you feel part of history! I went...

A must see for any JFK/Oswald history buffs. It's pretty neat that the street is mostly untouched and they took great care to restore the house back. You can really put yourself in Ruth's shoes and empathize with her, and Marina, the children.

I was a bit frustrated with the low ratings of the Ruth Paine House. I found this place fascinating from so many different levels. For one, I learned things that I had not heard elsewhere. For example, it was just "fate" that got Oswald working at the School Book Depository. It just so happened that a neighbor of Ruth's worked at the Depository and knew that they were hiring. So just a few weeks before the assassination, Oswald got a job at the Depository. I was also fascinated with the house itself. It is a time capsule of the older small homes that were built by the thousands across the nation shortly after WWII. The house is a neat experience.
