We had an afternoon to ourselves in Dallas and stopped by the Museum of Biblical Art. They have some amazing galleries of ancient artifacts including back to Medieval times. Most of the galleries are of Jewish art which was very interesting. Make sure you get one of the complementary audio tour devices or you will miss a lot of the history.

There's something EXTREMELY fishy when the staff say clients MUST come in to review and sign event rental contract/agreement. As an established event planner, I have never heard of a facility that will not email a contract after clients has toured property. Knowing that the facility plays a key role in a lot of decision making during wedding/event planning phase, clients should typically pay close attention to contract clauses and details. It is also inconvenient as most clients work and should not need to leave work to review and sign a contract; which can easily become a tedious process. I had a previous clients' event there in 2014 and the sales manager always seemed confused! I was hoping for a better experience only to encounter so many obstacles that raised obvious red flags. Advice if you're thinking of booking this facility..... STAY AWAY FROM SECRET CONTRACTS; HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE!

While visiting our daughter in Texas, my husband and I visited this museum. We enjoyed it very much and learned things that really surprised us. Our tour guide was very nice gentlemen. We even learned more from the audio presentation on some of items. If you have any interest in Biblical history it is well worth a visit.

Andrea Douglas

Our tour guide was excellent and I loved his trivia

Beautiful place, but I expected to see more biblical artifacts.

We were driving by and saw that this existed. My husband was so excited that we went right in. The art is gorgeous. My nine year old was kept interested the entire time. The statues inside and outside are amazing. The staff is so polite and well educated on the exhibits. They have the speakers that give you information as you walk along so you can go at your own pace. That's always nice.

Very impressive collection of religious art, including a large collection of Judaica. They host exhibitions throughout the year. We were fortunate to be able to see Barbara Hine's "A Celebration of Survival," a multimedia presentation on the Holocaust, its survivors and the many people who were rescuers. They also have an extensive collection of outdoor and indoor sculptures and statues. Very impressive.

Julio Castaneda

Excellent exhibits pertaining to biblcal times with an understandable theme. Staff is helpful, courteous and attentive to new comers. Very clean facilities and cool place.

Allen Mueller

Awful business practices at this place. Our friend had a wedding reception booked here and they called at 10AM DAY OF THE WEDDING to cancel because there was a chance of some freezing drizzle later in the day. REALLY? Put your big boy pants on and drive a little slower, it's not the end of the world. Over a hundred wedding guests, caterers and a DJ made it to the backup venue without a problem but you can't send one person to unlock the doors at the Museum because there might be some mildly inclement weather... Just deplorable. Would Jesus cancel a wedding on the morning of? No, I think he'd turn some water into wine and get the party started.

julie tapay

Beautiful collection, and breathtaking presentation. I have great respect for the skill of the curator

Layne Sutton

Eager to come again for more knowledge, added wisdom!

Ronelda Crown

I found this place simply by accident. As I was heading to the mall across the street. On one of my trips I had made the wrong turn and came around the corner and saw this place. I told a friend about it and told her I would like to take her as a girls day out if you will. We went, we saw, we read, we enjoyed.....staff was very friendly and helpful with questions. Clean place with nice restrooms. Amazing outdoor art garden.

E J Hoffer

If you are the last bit interested in Biblical art, don't miss this hidden gem next to Northpark mall.

Joy Higuchi

Wonderful art and artifacts, especially Ron Dicianni's permanent-installation mural, "The Resurrection." Other exhibits, such as art of Werner Sallman and Barbara Hines, are there for a limited time, but I enjoyed then in May 2018. Outside, the "Via Dolorosa" sculpture garden, featuring statues of Jesus' passion by Gib Singleton, is worth a long look. The grounds also feature other thought-provoking sculptures. Those who know the Bible will especially appreciate this museum, but those who love art will also.

Erica Brown

Staff very friendly loved the your a place I will look forward to coming back to!!

Pamela Perkins

It was a very rude and discriminatory experience by Scott Peck the excutive director. He watched me the enire time i was at the museum, never asked if i needed anything. Then embarrassed me in friny of other guest.

(Translated by Google) Wall resurrection connects my soul to God. And the Mural is challenging centuries of cultural knowledge. I highly recommend it. Note: biblical art and influences of different faiths. (Original) El muro de la resurrección conecta mi alma a Dios. Y el Tapete de los siglos es un reto de conocimiento cultural. Lo recomiendo altamente. Nota: Es arte bíblico y tiene influencia de distintos credos.

Nice..going back

Clint Russell

Really learned alot. There are some humerous paintings and titles. Little overpriced but all in all not bad.

serena k

it was awesome!!

Max M.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There were a lot more modern pieces than we expected. Only one hall was dedicated to earlier pieces. Notably Michael Angelo's Pieta and Moses. There was a really cool section on different bibles including a test page of Gutenberg Bible, The Wycliff Bible, Martin Luther's Bible and various foreign language bibles. Our least favorite section was the "Temptation", mostly paintings of donuts (desserts). The gift shop had a good variety of things, even non religious items. Definitely a place to swing by if you're in town or a fan of religious art.

Ludwig Van

A small, specialty museum full of brilliant exhibits including Chagall paintings and ancient and medieval bibles which are fascinating to look at. Covers several religious cultures including Christianity, Judaism and Islam. A great place to learn and enjoy beauty even if you are not religious.

Willie Thomas

This was my third trip to the museum over the past 25 years. However, it was my first time since it was rebuilt after the fire. I didn't think I could have enjoyed it any more than my previous visits, but I did. Also,I highly recommend the audio tour which is FREE! Also, the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Darrell Plunkett

Very interesting place !

Caleb Tate

There is one painting that is worth the whole trip - The Resurrection Mural. This awesome painting by Ron DiCianni is such a thought provoking and beautiful depiction of the truth of the most signicant event in all of human history. This painting was done exclusively for the museum. He took two years to paint it and he prayed about how he should paint it. It's so great. It's huge.

Debbie Hite

A must visit!!!

This is a really wonderful gallery and exhibit center, as I would put it. In retrospect, I'm not sure it's actually a museum. But I was there for a presentation and didn't do the tour. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it!

My wife and I visited this afternoon. We were impressed by how much there is to see here. Paintings dating from the medieval period to the 21st century, sculptures, and more. The artwork covers both the Old Testament and the New Testament. There was also a very moving exhibit about the Holocaust, plus a temporary exhibit by the National Archives of Iraqi Jewish documents discovered in 2003 by American troops. To top it all off, the museum director very graciously invited us to stay for a private tour of the Iraqi exhibit by the curator. I highly recommend a visit to this museum for anyone who happens to be passing through Dallas.

Great place for drinks and entertainment. Been here on a Sun, Mom, and Thurs. Monday is by far the slowest night of the week, but that's expected anywhere. If you really want a song to be played, tip big or buy them a drink. Bartenders and waitresses are friendly.

Connie Bingham

This museum is beautiful with incredible sculptures, historic art pieces, and 11 different rooms dedicated to different artists or genres. The curators were kind and informative. Great museum experience!
