Worthwhile visit. Unique displays from various cultures. Staff was friendly. Price was reasonable. Shows and exhibits are child appropriate. The museum is away on the access road for US67 south. Will take two hours to tour and read the exhibits. We love world cultures making this museum special for our family.

Small nondescript building is hiding a wonderful world of information and vibrant culture you can actually see firsthand. The docent who took us through was super, she had knowledge to share and fun stories that engaged. Would definately not mind going back for another visit!

Good people run this place. Interesting small museum.

The museum and its artifacts are so poorly-maintained and managed. The director of the museum focuses all efforts and resources on providing activities only with profits in mind. The artifacts are not handled according to any preservation or archival standards. The exhibits themselves are disorganized and there were factual errors in many descriptions. The people who gave this place 5 stars either worked, interned, or volunteered there. Also, the director and some staff regularly makes racist comments. One example, and this is 100% fact, is regarding a program--she was not involved in--to get African-American kids and "off the streets." She told her employee, "There are some good black people out there, you just have to find them." The museum is oblivious to real cultural sensitivities and complexities and a shame when it comes to artifact-handling. Save your time and money. Go to someplace meaningful.

Interesting place, but it needs more signage for what some of the items are. The James Patterson reader/employee was friendly and helpful. I was a bit taken aback by a fetish art piece that had no place here. I'm no prude, except when my children are somewhere with me. It wasn't so much the piece, as the placard about the piece.

I find this place surprisingly *not ethnocentric,* and instead the many non-U.S. cultures are presented with genuine appreciation. So much cool stuff to look at in this building! if you're interested in sociology, ethnography, foreign language, and crafts.

I was a light duty worker here I felt a great amount of tension, not from Herb Kamm(her son) but Mrs. Kamm made it real hard for me here, due to heavy work restrictions from knee surgery there was only so much I can do,I was in pain and still am in pain,I was told "when I tell you to do something you do it" but my employer, my workman's comp adjuster and Re-employability told me if it's against my restrictions DO NOT DO IT....and that what I did NOT WORK OUTSIDE MY RESTRICTIONS...as soon as I follow my instructions from those who rules I abide by I'm wrong, but as soon as Mrs.Kamm wants me to break those rules she has me transferred, some call it racist-its a tad bit....but I call it unfair treatment of an African American truck driver placed here to get well,to return to work full strength working outside my restrictions will never get me back to work at full strength AND THAT'S WHAT SHE WANTED ME TO DO....I refused I was well within my rights and abilities to refuse to do so....and she wanted me transferred YOU BE THE JUDGE

This is an odd little museum. The layout is very confusing and the signage is awful. Some items have NO signage to explain what they are, some leave you wanting more information, some have way too much information to keep your attention, some are misspelled, and worst of all some have incorrect information. They do have some neat items on exhibit but I still wouldn't recommend this museum.
