We've been to the Pickett house to eat many times, but had no idea there was so many cool things so close to us. Went for a field trip with my son's school, and they were very accommodating, kept the interest of the kids, and showed them some pretty great things. Would love to come back with just my family to check everything out and spend more time here!

Loved visiting this place and going through all the buildings that hold so much history. My favorites were the church and school. The gift shop has many treasures that you won't find elsewhere.

This was an interesting stop. This is a recreation of a 19th century village. I went on a weekday and had the whole place time myself. The exhibits were interesting. I would say the two best parts were the carriage house and the Pickett House. I would go see this again with my youngest son next time I am in the area.

Not too bad of place to visit. Food and drinks offered are quite expensive though. Some employees looked like they really didnt want to be there but in all we had a decent time seeing the old relics.
