Deffinately worth the time to tour

So many examples of fire arms and excellent examples of old fort buildings. Learned many new things. Couldn't believe the number of military and Native American artifacts. The staff is friendly and very informative tour.

Drove all the way out to visit Fort Chadbourne and it was CLOSED. I had checked online and it stated it was open until 5pm. No indication that it was closed today, July 3rd. Not until I arrived and called that I learned it was closed.

The comment that there was no indication that they were closed July 3 is false. Their website clearly noted the holiday hours that the were closed. This place is a true American gem. They are so generous to work hard preserving history and have it open to the public for all to enjoy.
