Paul Kobylanski

If your in Waco it's worth a trip. Kind of interesting and you can see some Americana. In! He second building you bcan get a fountain Dr Pepper that tastes amazing. Definatly worth going to at least once

Douglas Tate

I went to this museum about 15 years ago....the bigger one is great....way better than the museum in the old days. My kids loved it. Great stop on way from Houston to Dallas. The cookies & cream ice cream float with Dr. Pepper sounds unusual but it’s great!!!

Mike Pinder

We found ourselves in Waco with time to kill, and were pleasantly surprised by the Dr Pepper Museum. It was a very interesting, and entertaining place. Definitely worth a look.

Sunny Quiroga

My family and I absolutely love this place as much as we love Dr. Pepper!

Tom Riggins

Well worth the visit. If you’ve been to Coca Cola World this does not compare, but with its smaller size and notoriety you aren’t fight crowds of thousands either.

toasteee252

Its cool to step back in time in history of the plant..dont know why the museum has a whole second floor reserved for female (real or shoehorned as an accomplishment) history. Seems out of place. One of the owners who took over and was a very important part of history for Dr pepper was cool to read about..and she was female. But unless you are going to have a floor with all male accomplishments..and then also pat males on the back for being male in those exhibits. This just doesn't seem to fit here. (Especially the write ups about politicians) it's like stopping at a coke museum and seeing a floor devoted to PETA and the people of PETA. other than that. The staff is nice, the Dr pepper exhibits and history are cool, the soda across was tasty, including the things they could make. It's worth a visit if you are traveling from far away to just to visit those famous silos..ahem..store..nearby. (The Waco zoo is a better destination and then this museum in my opionion)

John Bailey

Very interesting. It's not just the history of Dr. Pepper, bit the industry as a whole. If you're into nostalgia at all, you should definitely give it a visit.

Brianne Trottier

Fun place to learn about history in Waco and how Dr. Pepper was created! Plenty of exhibits spanning across two buildings to include that include the old corner store and soda shop, and examples of old soda manufacturing machines. Plenty of old Dr. Pepper bottles and cans and interesting facts to read. At the end of the exhibits there are live demonstrations and a small cafe and gift shop where they serve soda and ice cream. Each visitor gets a free soda but be prepared for a long line. It was so long on the day we visited, that we actually passed on the free soda because it the rest of the museum was enough for us. We visited on a weekend and were able to see the Magnolia Silos in the same trip and enjoyed learning about the history of our favorite soda!

Matthew Mitstifer

It's a very nice museum with the history of doctor pepper and some other soda brands. They include one free drink with admission ($10 adult, $8 senior/veteran, and less for children but I don't remember what specifically). It's a good way to spend an hour and a half, we stopped there on the way to Dallas, Texas.

Meg Baum

Cool stuff! I had forgotten how good real soda fountain drinks are. :)

Paul Booms

Neat history of the development of the soda industry as well as other history. Not just Dr Pepper.

Justin Winfrey

Took a visit on a trip through Waco. It was pretty cool and informative. It has changed since my last visit. Before, there was only one building to tour, now there's two.

Andrew Born

My brother and I went here as a time filler. But it turned out to be one of the neatest things I've ever done! So rich in history.

Diane Williams

Did you know that Waco had a Dr Pepper museum? It’s a great place to learn about this amazing drink. Lots of historical items to look at or read.

C. Go

My husband is a Dr. Pepper "Fan Boy" so he just really enjoyed the entire experience! I truly enjoyed the historical aspect of the museum and especially the building! It was the original site for the bottle of Dr. Pepper. There are three stories filled with art, photos, memorabilia and equipment. In fact in the first building there is the original mineral well that was what started the whole thing! Really a fascinating piece of history.

Daniel García

Everything they have is nice preserved or designed but in my opinion the museum needs a lot of changes and improvement. It should be organized by themes in a coherent way with good signaling. The interactive mannequin that they have to introduce and tell some history by its founder, is a nice idea but the problem is that when you get there, you will most likely find visitors ahead of you listening/viewing the mannequin, so you have to wait a lot of time to start from the beginning to understand the speech. What happen is that most of the people skip this step and continue to the rest of the museum without any context.

Brandi Irene

This was a neat museum to go into. It is not very large and can be easily walked through in 45 minutes. If you need a quick activity to do in Waco, this is a quaint place with some interesting history on not only Dr Pepper, but also Waco as a whole. At the end of your tour, stop off for some hot Dr. Pepper at the soda fountain. A very interesting taste, indeed!

Pat Lacey

An interesting stop at a former Dr Pepper bottling and distributing plant. Lots of interesting history about the product, the people, the industry, and the destruction of part of the plant by a tornado. And an option for a free hand mixed sample of one of their current soda products by a real "soda jerk" (you'll learn why he's called a jerk!). A nice experience in your Waco visit. Conveniently located just two blocks from the Magnolia complex.

Keith Hill

I wish it was more of an informational experience, tour guide style. They did have a lady doing a short program on other recipes of drinks but I was kinda disappointed. I wanted to hear of the history of DP. You pay $10 and you are basically pointed toward the building then you wander through the place.

Rob Banda

Place was great, so much to look at and hear, this place is a must if you're in Waco.

Trump One

Boy we had a great time there nice family-friendly atmosphere if you're in Waco stop by there.

Thomas Dilsworth

Cool atmosphere, and a really neat look into the history not only surrounding the company, but the location and different time periods.

Jason Muhs

Surprisingly fun. Great walk through if you love Dr. Pepper. We had fun looking at everything. Takes a couple of hours but we'll worth it.

Ann Hamilton

This museum is well laid out and very inclusive. The staff were polite and accommodating despite the very hot weather and the AC work which was in progress. I really enjoyed my visit.

Keri Gibson

Best museum ever! We loved it! The old fashioned sodas were very good too. Will be back!

Marissa Arrington

There are 3 floors in this museum that you can reach by elevator or stairs. Lots of fun information about the founding of the soft drink and how it has grown into a mega company today. You even receive a free glass of Dr. Pepper upon completion of your tour. We stopped in on our way out of town and had a great time. Lots of fun history behind Dr Pepper and other brands.

Linda C Aiello

I was born there in Waco Texas so I definitely drank Dr.Pepper since I was a young child and I still do.The museum is very interesting..I learned so much information about the history of the soda I would have never known if I had not visited. Plus I was happy that I got my tickets off of Groupon. So be a Dr. Pepper!

Trevor Pace

I feel they made it as interesting as possible, considering the limited subject matter. I do wish they would have had more interactive exhibits similar to the liquid lab. I also think that for a $10 admission price they could afford to provide more than the free sip you get at the end.

Euphy

Very interesting. I learned so much about the Dr. pepper history. They gave me a free drink of dr. pepper after purchasing a ticket for the museum. There is a variety of interactive things for children. The staff were really nice, especially the people in the gift shop.

T. H. Barr

Love the history, pictures, and machinery. Grandkids had a good time as well-especially with Blue Bell ice cream for a treat.

Noel Paul

This is a great spot to stop by! It's cheap and there is plenty to see! They offer you a free drink and you can even get ice cream here! An awesome spot to visit!

Debbie Pond

Took my three gkids, ages 5-8, they had a blast. A free soda and a science show, we all loved it! And a really cool, old well. No one knows how deep it is.

Cody Cullar

If you are in Waco stop by, don't make a special trip just for this museum.....it was just kind of boring. It didn't hold the attention of my 9yo who LOVES DOCTOR PEPPER. Having some type of bottling machine that is operational would be a huge draw , I liked the history, however I would love to see the museum have more hands on for children.

Timothy Wier

Love the museum, love the drink, glad to see them focusing on free Enterprise.

Andy Hockenbrock

Very well done and well designed museum. Could be improved with a couple of knowledgable docents, but self guided works.

Cailey Cogburn

Interesting, they have lots of souvenirs like Dr. Pepper cotton candy!

KyLee Woodley

Been taking my kids here for years. They expanded recently and have a new gift shop and sweet shop

Christie Miller

Very informative. Not an all day place. I think we were there, for about 2 -2 1/2 hours

Sabrina Henson

Super Informative! Lots of stuff to look at, one or two interactive tasks. Main portion of museum has 3 stories but has a elevator. Free drink with Admission

Anthony Klein

Probably one of the more interesting museums I've ever been definetly kept my attention.

Ron Sprinkle

Fun even though we are not big dr. Pepper fans

Oliver Miller

Cool historic place! Recommend allocating ~45 minutes to see everything.

Scott Campbell

Fun and interesting place. Checked this off the bucket list. Very interesting history.

Pharcus Winjammer

Took a self guided tour (possibly guided tours available?). Very educational and fascinating. Had some interactive elements to keep kids engaged. Small theatre with different decades of commercials. 2nd building across courtyard has 7-Up and other brand products history, as well as a flavor chemistry demo and soda fountain shop. Family fun!

Melissa Lewis

I love the lab shows and the complimentary drinks. We're big fans of museums.

Barak Stolfi

Interesting presentation on the psychology of detecting and selling different flavors in the Liquid Lab.

Umberto Fournier

This place is pretty cool. If you are in Waco it is worth checking out. You get to see the history for the company, how it's changed over time. Really great for anyone who is a fan of the soft drink.

Francisco Retiz

Great little museum to learn some history. Plus you get a free drink why not.

Steven Card

Not a bad trip. It was a cheap thing to do on Waco besides Magnolia and Baylor football. I was under the wrong impression that it was a factory tour where it's bottled. It is really more of just a shrine to all thing DP and its history. Still interesting nonetheless and a lot of history.

Darrien Rushing

Super cool! AND a free sample of freshly mixed Dr. Pepper at the end! Wish I could've stayed longer to see the rest. This exceeds expectations, and I'll definitely be back to see the rest. Could easily take 2-4 hours.

Terry Geasland

This place was awesome! Who knew there was so much history about Dr Pepper...loved it...I even got a hat, t shirt and lanyard all Dr Pepper...

Donna Jensen

Do you want to learn the history of soft drinks? How about learning how to make it up close? This kid friendly museum is such a special treat, and the free Dr Pepper at the end is made from real soda fountain, not watery syrup. I can still savor the taste a day later.

BattlefrontGameplay 164

Would recommend if you are passing through town on the way to Austin or Dallas. Worth a look. Maybe takes an hour to complete.

Raquel Gonzales

We had a blast at the Dr. Pepper museum! Very educational while still including a lot of fun elements. We loved all of the old advertising videos. Check it out when you're in Waco, it's definitely worth it!

jack boyd

Our granddaughter wanted to visit the museum again. We took her about 6 months ago and she really enjoyed the “kiddo” hands on exhibits. Today, 13 Mar 19, during her spring break she wanted to return. This time about half of the exhibits are no longer there plus all of the “kiddo” exhibits were gone. She was so disappointed. Our two hour visit turned into a five minute visit. Very sad, a total waste of money. Never again.

econgloberfan

I went here with my friend from out of town and we had fun. I can say this is a great place to take your family because it's historical There is a fee it's not free but you can learn a lot and see wonderful items. I recommend because it's a nice drive from Dallas it took nearly two hours and it's about 100 miles from Austin, TX.

Twana Kitzman

Very interesting. And at the end they prepare a beverage of your choice the old fashioned soda jerk way.

Haley Earls

We really enjoyed our visit! We had a large group of 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 6 months to 13 years old. I'm not a big fan of museums, but this was full of lots of interesting displays and information that kept my attention. At the end we enjoyed our free drinks and some ice cream. I HIGHLY recommend the Dr. Pepper milkshake! The Dr. Pepper syrup is delicious.

Mar Go

Clean, friendly employees, great Aircondition, dr pepper history told in good exhibits. Why 4 stars for non dr pepper exhibit. Was in a dr pepper frame of mind loving it then a "pandering one sided political" photo exhibit had nothing to do with dr pepper.

David Nutting

This place was awesome and the AC was very welcome in the squelching heat. Learned alot not just about Dr. Pepper but about the soft drink industry as well!

Rick Kristin

Cool, lots to see and read. The Dr pepper cotton candy was meh tasting.

Taylor Wilson

The museum was very cool. So many stories and items that have so much history. Plus free Dr Pepper made with syrup right in front of you! Some nice things in the gift shop area but could have more/different items.

Troy Lureman

This was pretty cool. Being a Dr. Pepper enthusiasts, I was pretty excited. I wasnt super into it but it was interesting. Just not what I expected with tons of different Dr. Peppers on tap. It was just the original and diet.

Lupe Santos

The Dr Pepper Museum is one of the best places I have ever been to. The staff is kind, charismatic, and patient with confused tourists. I really enjoyed exploring all three floors of the museum and the liquid lab. I would recommend people of all ages to come atleast once! Have a great day.

Ronald Reames

I was there before and thoroughly enjoyed myself with the company I was with now it has gotten bigger and I hope to see it before the year's out

Aaron Bunting

An absolutely amazing experience! I went with my family and we all had a good time. Appropriate for all ages. Everyone can find something to love here. Whether it's the collection of old commercials, the product delivery game, or the old vehicles you can't help but find something to truly enjoy. When you're done you get a free old fashioned fountain Dr. Pepper in the gift shop!

Adrianna Pena

Very informative and interactive exhibits for all ages. The gift shop and soda store was a great finishing touch - with a free Dr. Pepper with your receipt.

Alan Perez

Really interesting museum in regards to the origin of Dr Pepper and friends. The pop/gift store is also neat. This is a must visit for any Dr Pepper fans out there. You can buy freshly made soda here too!

Jeremy Ortiz

I happen to love Dr pepper so I was a cool experience for me. shows you a lot of the memorabilia and the history of Dr pepper. Displays include the original manufacturing tools and talking displays with detailed information.

Patti Isbell

Very interesting place to tour. There is a lot of reading plaques or videos that you can watch. Old machinery there that used to be updated in its time.they have a cute little class that you can do for free.but as you're buying your entrance pass if you want a dr. Pepper float you have to pay extra. It's amazing to see how fast the world has changed in bottling and sodas from back then.

Nicole Scimone

It's a great find. Id been to the World of Coca Cola before and thus I expected this to be much smaller. It is, but it's a very well made museum. I liked the exhibit on becoming a food chemist in R&D, all the old advertising campaigns, and the soda fountain. (Attn manager: my parents, who both worked as food chemists and chem professors, said the lab equipment in the upstairs chemistry exhibit was set up incorrectly, so you may want to have a chemist check?) Clean, interesting and a perfect stop for an hour or two. I definitely recommend, especially for Dr. pepper, big red, or soda fans.

Logan D

Great place to visit. We loved the history that was told and how interesting it was made out to be. We loved that they showed what companies are with them on the second floor of the museum. Our favorite part was seeing all the old machines that were used for the bottling. Overall we would good again when we are in Texas the next time. Definitely on the bucket list for next time.

John Anthony Reyna

Not much of a tourist attraction. I didn't see why $10 entrance fee for a history presentation wasn't justifiable... you charge $$$ for everything. Magnolia put you back on the Map... Not the drink! *** Don't forget to stop at the Texas rangers Museum... it is awesome! ***I didn't mean to be abrasive in the review but I guess coming from San Antonio having so much history where I'm used to eye popping attractions! But the word does go out and it doesn't seem like you're going to have a slowdown in population to see the attractions with Magnolia and The Silo Bakery near by... I would lower my prices and bring in more Tourist... because I really do love Dr. Pepper it is an awesome drink! ***

Deneane F

If you have not had an opportunity to visit this musuem you need to go! I took my 7 and 5 year old and we had a blast. They have a lot of interactive things for the kids to play with. The museum is well laid out and has lots of fun facts about Dr. Pepper history. They had a cool presentation for the kids about soda and carbonation. The kids got to try fruit that was carbonated and they really enjoyed the experience. The best part was with the purchase of your ticket you get a small drink. We chose a Dr. Pepper but you could have chosen any of the option at the soda fountain. Definitely a fun place for the entire family to go.

Christina Morgan

Lots of info. Zone interactive stuff. You need a few hours to get through it and be able to absorb it all.

Millissia Ludtke

Enjoyed touring the Dr Pepper Museum. So much info and presented well. If your a Dr Pepper alcoholic, the store is packed with fun goodies you can't find anywhere else. I got a full lil shopping bag of koozies, candy, cotton candy etc for under $20. When the crowds at Chip & Joanna's Silos next door are too much, tour this wonderful gem.

Chandra Thibodeaux

This is a nice museum but it was not kid friendly. I had a toddler in tow and he did not enjoy the museum also the people were not very culturally diverse or friendly.

Mark Graham

The place itself is pretty nice and interesting. The soda shop was ridiculous. There were four employees and three of them mostly stood around and talked and joked with each other even though there was a long line of customers. One even ate an entire cup of ice cream. No interaction with the customers or since of urgency ir even care.

Sharon Vasquez

This was a fun stop and one for the books. Lots of interesting historical facts, friendly staff, excellent drinks, and the gift shop had really fair prices.

Chris Ellerd

A quick way to waste your money. The fresh dr pepper they made was amazing even if you are not a fan.

Ron Willard

It's really a museum that documents the art of selling sugary carbonated drinks. It has a Fine Collection of soda art, a tasting bar, and very helpful guides. There's a nice gift shop, and even a race track for kids to choose their own cars and race them.

Emily Kaiser

So much fun! Check out Groupon for discounts or sales. Overall my family and I had a blast. They are very informative and have some fascinating exhibits. Plus Dr. Pepper is awesome! The museum is self directed but they have audio and visual exhibits. There is also an elevator which was perfect for our family. Overall I would recommend visiting if you have the time and are looking for something to do.

Bijoy Prakash

You will like it if you are a fan of the soda. Even otherwise there's some history on how Dr Pepper made an entry into the US market. It can be interesting for ardent fans. We went on the anniversary day so tickets were $2 each which was good.

Kristan Crowell

Interesting history of the product and company. Additional educational opportunities about women in history, the free enterprise system, and the science of flavor. Some fun interactive things for kids too.

Jason Pena

My family got their an hour before closing so we had to rush a little. Museum was nice plus free old fashioned soda

Fly Baby LLC

Hindsight being 20/20, I wish I could have the time spent at the Dr Pepper Museum back. It was somewhat interesting from a Waco local history perspective and less so from a 20th century pop culture (no pun intended) perspective. My family visited in part because entrance was free with our Pogo Pass. Loved our visit to Waco, but did not love this stop.

Tyler Earl

It can be pretty fun if you are willing to read a lot and stay for a good 4 to 5 hours

Tanya

Cute place. I loved learning about the drink I grew up with. Good place to take your family.

Matt M

Overall the Dr Pepper museum was entertaining and educational. The museum offers a historical timeline of Dr Pepper's creation and the museum's exhibits seem to flow with this timeline. The main museum is three floors, and each floor has miniature theaters to rest and watch original commercials and history. The museum is well-lit, clean, and has great air conditioning to beat the Texas summer heat. There are discounts for seniors, students, and military as well. Once you've finished all three floors, there is a second building that features a live, entertaining performance in Dr Pepper chemistry. This is also the building with the gift shop and where you'll get a free small Dr Pepper drink, or subsidary, prepared in front of you by soda jerks. My only criticism is that much of the museum is not interactive and it may be difficult to keep children (and some adults!) attention.

Blair Goulas

I am a big fan of Dr Pepper and this museum did not let us down. It was full of fun and interesting facts and second of all it had very good original Dr Pepper to taste. It’s in our old three-story historic building with lots of character! Me and the family had a blast and it was a great addition to our trip to Waco Texas. It made the trip even that much funner knowing that it’s the place where Dr Pepper originated!

rick cannici

We were in Waco so my wife could go to Magnolia Silos and while we were sitting around outside enjoying the weather while she shopped, my son found this place online. It was only about a 5 minute walk so we gave it a look. I was very pleased with the meseum and learning all the history behind the making of Dr. Pepper. If you go spend some time and read the displays. It was well worth the cost of admission

Caley Parsons

The Doctor Pepper museum in Waco is a great place to learn all about that Texas history and your favorite soda, plus a delicious soda at the end. The prices are a little on the high end, but you can definitely spend a while here.

Deivid Cardozo

Good museum about how make soda factor. Cheap admission ticket and include free one small drink soda. Awesome and some education as history and women power.

amy allen

Beat the heat and take the kids! A fun place to learn about Waco's history and how carbonated drinks were made.

donovan luna

Awesome place to come and learn all about Dr. Pepper and company. Very honest american company birthed right here in Waco Texas! Really worth taking a couple of hours to look around and enjoy all there is too see!

Mike & Kaitie Behnke

Took our 6, 4, 3, and 1 year old and they loved it! Especially the simulated bottling area, the area to "test your scent" abilities, the hands on test tube area, and the free cups of Dr Pepper! FREE PARKING directly across the street and within a block of Magnolia Market. Such a great place to visit!

Jerry Greif

It’s worth the trip. The Dr Pepper float in their gift shop/café is real good.

Micheal Hopkins

Nice museum if u wanna know more about Dr pepper and its history , especially if u just around the Waco area like I was.

Tariq Murtuza

Fun and historic . Young kids will enjoy the history about soda. Liquid lab is good and a lot of knowledge.

Ben Westfall

This place is one of the best. If you're a dr pepper lover, this museum should be on your bucket list.

Cheyènna H

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The admission fee is very reasonable. Everyone in our party enjoyed the museum - very educational and informative.

Kristin Fisk

Very interesting. More than you ever wanted to know about Dr. Pepper. Brings back lots of memories.

Andrea A

Have visited the Coca Cola museum in Atlanta, and while I am a huge Coke fan, I have to say I really appreciated the Dr. Pepper museum for all of the historical nostalgia and educational information! Beautiful displays from the beginning through modern day and lots of history on the original Dr. Pepper science lab and bottling plant. Really had a great time here!

Pam Gosnell

We enjoyed it, the kids enjoyed the class given. Nice little soda shop and the end was a treat.

Alan Parker

Very interesting place. Has admission price but very reasonable and includes a real Dr pepper at the end of the tour. Staff is friendly. Tour is self guided and took us about 90 min. The building has three floors but they have elevators, so don't let that stop you. Also has free parking across the street.

Charles Zwicker

I thought this place was pretty cool. It gave a good overview of the history of soft drinks, starting from the consumption of mineral waters. The tour includes a free pour of soda. If you're a fan of sweet drinks, I'd recommend trying the Big Red soda, as it's something I've never seen before.

Jeremy Olsen

The museum has some interesting displays and a lot of vintage items that are fun to look at, but all in all, it was underwhelming. My family finished the whole thing in a short period of time and were ready to go. I definitely had the "this is it...?" Feeling at the end.

Vicky Thompson

I've never been here before. It was so much fun. The staff here are great. The ice cream float was so good!

Canyon

Awesome place, everyone should go here to visit.

Cicely Salatino

This is a fun visit for a Dr Pepper lover, worth it for the gift shop alone!

AfroRican P

Very fun and informative. So much history surrounding the creation of Dr. Pepper and its founders. Great place for kids. I've passed through Waco several times and finally made it here. Watching how they create the soda was fun. And, the best part was getting a free soda at the end. You definitely need to go!

William Saxe

Historic bottling plant for Dr. Pepper beverages has been turned into a museum. Covers the evolution of the soft drink from the over the counter "medicinal drink" days to the present. Lots of classic advertising and company related memorabilia to look at as well as some original bottling machinery. They also do a periodic demonstration in the building next door mixing custom flavors. Overall, a cool place to visit for a bit of history on a part of the American experience.

Stephanie Schmidt

I have been several times, bringing family with me each time. However, this last trip I was SO disappointed to see almost the entire second floor taken up with an homage to mainly Democrat women through history who were irrelevant to Dr. Pepper. Yes, I get this is a museum, but it’s the Dr Pepper Museum! Awesome historical pieces from Waco and DP were removed to push this political agenda. Very disappointed.

Lewis Marx

Lots of great history. The museum is full of interesting facts and fun exhibits that really maximize value. And the handmade dr pepper at the end just makes it that much better.

Rosemary Garcia

It is a nice museum. The soda shop is awesome. I recommend the Dr. Pepper sundae. And the fountain drinks are awesome. I recommend it for families.

Aly Murrell

This was my second visit to the Dr. Pepper museum and it was so much fun!! I had the opportunity to sit in on a little science experiment show dealing with smells and it was so fun and informing! I absolutely loved the friendly staff and atmosphere of the museum. Thanks for making my day trip to Waco so much fun!!

Siena Youngblood

Cool little museum to visit, and the soda shop was a nice touch at the end. You get a free handmade Dr. Pepper with admission. Our order actually ended up getting lost, and the staff was so gracious and gave us an upgraded size for the extended wait it caused.

Isabella Zeller

The museum was very interesting. The air conditioning kept the place cool.It shows and tells how soda was made and when/how Dr.Pepper was made.Good place to see and be with kids 9+!

Dana Woodbury

This was a very informative museum about the history behind the creation of Dr. Pepper. There was a lot of reading involved, so I wouldn't recommend it for younger children (we had a 7 year old and a 2 year old). The adults all had a great time and they even gave us a free small drink with admission at the soda shop! The gift shop was small, but had some fun little Dr. Pepper items that weren't overpriced. It wasn't very crowded for a Saturday afternoon. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Angelia Ford

So I have visited the Coke Museum in ATL and it was HUGE, I also visited the Pepsi Museum in New Bern NC, it was TINY. The Dr. Pepper Museum had the best of both worlds! It was big enough to fill a few hours and had some larger exhibits, but not so big and flashy that I forgot that it is a museum! The well was my favorite part!

Andrew Dunnam

I went at 4. It was very interesting. I wish I could have also gone at 10 & 2

Jason Gutierrez

We enjoyed the museum. Great amount of history of you're a DP fan

William Burgess

Nice museum. Interesting to learn about the artesian wells in Waco, local history, and history of Dr. Pepper. Museum can be toured in 60-90 minutes if you read everything. The talking pharmacist on the first floor is a great way to get started. Don't forget to go across the courtyard and complete your tour with a ice cold Dr. Pepper (free with cost of admission)

Candice Reed

We love Dr. Pepper! This place was fun to learn and see the history. But my kids favorite part was obviously the ice cream parlor and Dr. Pepper out of the bottle! You only need a single scoop because they are big. Staff was very friendly and cheerful!

Dana Wood

Cool visit love the old fashioned soda jerk experience

Clay Arwine

Interesting museum. I don't much care for soda fountain Dr Pepper. Not carbonated enough. Give me a can of Dr Pepper. Lol

Robert Donayre

Great stop in Waco for one of America's most iconic carbonated beverages. Nice of them to include a Dr. Pepper drink with the $10 admission price. The gift shop was a nice place to pick up a few, well, gifts, including Bubba's brand Dr. Pepper flavored BBQ sauce. Apparently, you can't get that particular flavor anywhere else.

Justin Clement

The Dr. Pepper museum was definitely worth a visit, especially if your a fan of the drink. It doesnt seem to attract the number of visitors as the Coca Cola tour in Atlanta does, but may be more historic as the building you start the tour in was the original building where the flavor was invented and first sold. It was interesting to learn that the unique flavor was originally called a "Waco" by locals before it was mass produced and branded. At the end of the tour you get free sample of any of the Dr. Pepper family of sodas. It's a great stop if you're in the area. Its reminiscent of the Coca Cola museum but on a smaller scale. We spent about 45 minutes seeing everything.

Robert MacKenzie

Well worth the visit to learn about the history of the Dr. Pepper drink. They had a lot of information on three different floors plus in another building they gave you a real old fashioned Dr. Pepper fountain drink at the end of your tour. The gift shop was loaded with many Dr. Pepper memorabilia items to bring back home to your loved ones and friends.

Lots of empty space that could be filled with advertising. Self your didn't flow well and didn't really know where to go or what to do. I'm a huge soda pop and Dr. Pepper fan so I still enjoyed it but the rest of my party was disappointed for the price of entry.b

Couldn't get to the 3rd floor with elevator. Would be better if there was a live showing of processes or actual tour guide in first building. Second building was much more interactive and perfect for self guided. Would have loved to try the different flavors of soda for free, not just Dr Pepper. Overall a great choice for the Dr Pepper fan!!!!

Chloe Laster

Love Dr Pepper, so this museum was extremely fascinating. Love all the vintage stuff! You get a free Dr Pepper with your visit, too!(:

Alison Kowatch

History of a state loved drink brought me in. The museum covered so much more. I spent 2 hours walking around and reading about all the exhibits.

Yurika Dollar

The drink was fresh that it didn't come from bottle or anything. They made it right there & than. It was long walk but, it was worth it!

Kasey Burdick

I thought it was super boring. Some interesting facts but not for me and the complimentary drink was tiny and wait was sooo long and ao inefficiently done

Ian Jenkins

A wonderful experience and a must especially for lovers of Dr Pepper and even soda in general. Come prepared so you can buy some keepsakes, useful memorabilia, and try the Dr Egg Cream drink! (It's like a melted float if not better.) We learned so much that we hadn't a clue about and we look forward to returning with kids!

Interesting museum. Small and cute. Some interesting trivia.

It's an element of history, if only to show, not unlike breakfast cereals, American foods that had their origins during the industrial revolution and how they misunderstood the concept of health. It's really a love letter to a corporation that built its way and grew with America, but it's such a poorly written letter on fairly cheap stationary. By the overall tone and construct of the displays/exhibits, I wonder if Dr. Pepper Corp even cares about it. As I walked through the museum, with its hand drawn display cards and hastily assembled exhibits on the suffragette movement I kept thinking "middle school science fair" . I wouldn't build a day around this unless you are researching a book on freemasonry or corporate intrigue in the early 20th.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the museum. There are three floors of history, exhibits, films and interactive areas. There’s definitely plenty of Dr Pepper history on display, but it also contains plenty of history and science of soda in general. It was the perfect air conditioned option for a sweltering July day. I held back one star for two reasons. The museum could use some work on the layout and flow. Each room was great, but we hopped from general history to Dr Pepper founders to Waco history. Second, there’s a great half of the museum that’s technically free. As you enter from the street, the building to your right is the soda shop and gift shop. It is free to enter and has several exhibits on its own. They don’t tell you this until after you walk through the main museum.

I took my girl for her birthday it was fun for the all the family.

Angelena Hopkins

Learn alot about soda, not JUST Dr Pepper. Amazing experience. Suggest to everyone.

johnny stevens

We really enjoyed it. One of the best museums I've ever been to, very informative and very fun and interesting. The floats were amazing

Brandon Propst

Fun place. Learn you a thing or two about dr pepper and how they made a huge impact on the Waco community. They still bring up that tornado every other minute there.

Denise Herrmann

Very interesting ...and you can look at everything in your own time..nice soda fountain at the end you get a free drink with your admission..they have ice cream to purchase too ..

Sammy Martinez

Full of historic info about Dr. Pepper. The well is very interesting. If you love any of Dr. Pepper products or Dr. Pepper itself the it's a must for you. The gift shop/Icecream soda bar is great !!

Nicole Hampton

All I drink is Dr Pepper, dying to come here for years, moved to Texas 4 months ago and finally went. Very informative, learned stuff I didn't know. Even got a free cup of Dr. Pepper and paid extra for vanilla.

Andrew Hawkins

not like the cocola museum at alanta but great got drinks and walked around learning the history of dr. pepper got me thirsty great place in waco tx

Eleanor Louray

Had a lot of fun here. Not my favorite Soda but my husband loves it. He was like a little kid in a candy store. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The little shop is small and a bit overpriced, but that's ok. Definitely worth a visit.

Ramsay Snow

Great museum if you're in Waco and love Dr. Pepper or soft drinks in general. A must for every tourist in this town In my opinion.

Tiffany White-Funderburg

This was a nice Museum. There were exhibits spread throughout different locations which gave the appearance there was more to see than it actually was. The liquid laboratory was neat but there isn't a lot of seating even if you wait 30 minutes prior to the "show", which was about 30 minutes long. Was the show worth the 30 minute wait? It depends. For the price we paid it was worth it.

Embolis

If you love Dr Pepper YOU HAVE to visit this place ! The true made Dr is to die for ! They also carry random vintage collectibles.

Trish Olsen

We are hard core Dr. Pepper dander and this was so cool! Totally love it. But it really doesnt take that long maybe 45 minutes

Alys Moore

Great place, get ready to learn about history and fun facts about soda pop in general and Dr. Pepper! Very interesting!

Mark Craig

edwin morales

Chelsea Bohaty

One of my favorite stops on our vacation in Texas. I love Dr. Pepper and having someone make some right in front of you after touring the building was really fun.

Sandie Nadelson

An amazing amount of history and a few interactive displays for kid entertainment. The ticket price seemed high at $10 per person. Was supposed to get a free Dr. Pepper with our ticket, but the dispenser malfunctioned. Got bottled water and left disappointed.
