If you are looking for the ghost town, google maps gps won't take you right there by typing in "medicine mound". We came from amarillo, going towards dallas on 287. Gps took us off the highway and took us down a 2 lane road then told us to turn off to the left down a gravel road. Don't take that turn. Instead, continue to the next road on the right (there is a sign "medicine mound ->"). Continue down that road and it'll be not long on the right. We went when the store was closed but was still neat to see. There is also a gravesite if you continue down the road (at the stop sign turn left and keep going until you reach another stop sign. There will be a broken down wooden home/barn right before the stop sign. The gravesite is across the street to the right).
