REVIEWS OF Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History IN Texas

The Google description starts with "large" ... well, this one is hardly large. I really took my time and spent about an hour here. Kids would probably blow through in 30 minutes. It's not only natural history, there are some historic displays of the area such as weaving, chuck wagons, etc. Good for a nice, short, educational visit.

Very small. I understand operating cost, but it should be cheaper than $5 to get in to see a rock collection.

Such a nice place, with great staff. A lot of intresting things, plus live animals. My son's favorite was the live bees and Boris the turtle! A very cute, local museum. A good place to spead with your kids on a school holiday. It was cold when we went, but we will definitely be back with a packed lunch to eat outside.

We love taking our nieces and family members to the museum!! The staff is friendly, the exhibits constantly change and the exhibit openings are very interesting and the speakers both educational and interesting!! We highly recommend going and experiencing and supporting the museum of natural history. Doug and Cheryl Pederson

Smallest "museum" I believe I've ever been too. There was a section that was covered for remodel, but even with it open it wouldn't be much better. What the heck is the rest of the huge building for? $22 for a family of 5 and we're we're in and out in 30 min. Disappointed :(
