They close whenever they feel like it. We showed up at 6:25pm cuz it said it closed at 7pm. Saw a guy outside closing doors and as we were walking up the stairs some lady came and locked the front door. She looked right at us and then just walked away. Never going back, probably a waste of 6 bucks anyways.

Custer County Courthouse Museum provides excellent artifacts from the area. It provides a multitude of items from Custer and gives the mind the matetial to seem like a return to yeaterday. Great displays and outstanding information relevant to the saga of Custer. Highly recommended to family and friends!

Great display of artifacts of the era, some of which belonged to General George Custer. Furniture and items of the time are in excellent condition and are presented in a way that you get a genuine feel of the late 1800's.This is a must see for anyone interested in or following the history of General George Custer. It's free but not easily accessible for the handicapped.

I didn't go inside because I didn't want to pay money. Everything in Custer seems to be designed to separate me from my money. I did enjoy the display in the carriage house

Enjoyable walk back into time. Lots of old stuff to see. Ladies can dress up in period costumes and stroll through the various displays. You can see it all without being "roped off"

Well laid out in the old court house. Elevator to the basement and second floor for those needing this accommodation. Worth the time and effort. Be sure to donate to keep it up.

Really good visit at the museum. Has a lot of artifacts from the area and the exhibits are laid out in a good way. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful history lots of Custer items. Gracious workers lots of items books etc for sale. It is in 1930s court house. If you haven't been go if you have go back. Lots of history.
