A must see in Cherokee county! The museum tours are reasonably priced and fascinating for such a small venue (it's an old elementary school). However, when rented for weddings and special events, the auditorium is absolutely amazing, one of the best venues in the Upstate. The dinner theater performances are also top notch. Amazing food, friendly bartenders and waitstaff, and shows starring our favorite local actors. Definitely a MUST when visiting Gaffney!

I had my wedeing here in the back room and it turned out beautiful. However the staff tries to be friendly but they came off pushy and upset a few people whp were helping with setup

Cute snall museum packed with lots of memorabilia of Cherokee County in SC. Only $5.00 for adults. We had the whole place to ourselves.

Very nice place to visit. They house some very interesting artifacts from the local area. The museum hosts a monthly events such as dinner and a movie. They also have a beautiful rooms to host private events. Overall, if you're interested in local history or would just like share something with a young one this is a nice place to visit.

My daughter rented the auditorium for her wedding and reception. Webbed plenty of room and a good size kitchen to prepare the food. Parking was an issue because we only had the small parking lot outside the back entrance. This was a problem for the older people and people who have trouble walking a long distance. They had to walk all the way around front or walk through the kitchen area where the only door near the parking lot. The name Cherokee Art History Museum is very misleading because it maybe one or two pieces of art displayed and aside from a few old farm implements outside, the only historical display was of The Gaffney High Football teams from the early part of the 1900's. If it is a County funded history museum, I would think that it should contain historical artifacts from the entire county not just a few old pictures and articles about the Gaffney football teams. As a citizen of Blacksburg, I respect those teams and I'm not bashing them. But this county as a whole has a lot of history and some important events in history have shaped. Several major battles have taken place all over the county that helped to make this country the free place it is. It bothers me that not one battle or fallen soldiers name was mentioned

We were here for a wedding. They have a very nice hall for events like weddings. Everything was very pretty. I liked the round tables and the sound system worked quite well. The restroom was unisex, and quite small, the only drawback to an otherwise lovely venue.
