great musuem ,far under priced civil war relics ,old button collections and dresses from 1800's old antiques and pictures from history of tha area . up stairs is a massive indian artifac collection from the history of indians in this area from several thousand years ,its nex to the police station and theres a park a stone throw away ,several old cabins barns ,a train caboose .theres jus a mix of every thing ,dont leave columbia with out visiting this place

A True hidden gem. Like a little village from the past. Makes a visit to the nearby Cayce River walk much mire interesting ! Staff is So knowledgeable and helpful. Plan to spend an hour or more in museum and walking the grounds. Beauty park with nature trails and a Cinderella pumpkin coach !! Beware the Wildlife !!!

The 1700 era house out back is awesome. The displays they have are the actual thing not some replication. This is a great little museum with stuff you want find anywhere else

Kid friendly, great place to take family pictures, also have a playground for children to play on, would be nice if they added some swings but still a cute place to go to

As museums go this one is well done mostly because of funds from shoppers and residents of the City of Cayce. Museums should be privately funded by donations not by shoppers looking for food to eat.

Surprisingly a cool little museum with a lot of little artifacts including a checker table that general cornwalce played at (there most treasured piece), they also have the oldest wood cabin left in the south east. This is not a place you would spend the whole day but in a hour you will see most of what this place has to offer. Good afternoon trip if you are looking for something to do in Columbia that is a bit off the beaten path.
