We love to visit here. We could only visit a little as there was a summer camp session in progress. Even though we couldn't see many of the exhibits, we were glad, very glad the children are learning their native culture! We noticed items labeled in English as well as the native language so that the children are learning to speak it! How wonderful!!!!!!

Jason Rogers

I learned a lot here. The lady at the gift shop was kind, smart, and understanding. The trail was beautiful and simple for inexperienced hikers. It was very peaceful with short stops to read information.

There isn't much to see at this Indian reservation other than a building housing cultural center and a shop selling trinkets. Not easy to find and drive to.

Amazing and absolutely awesome... We wanted to learn about the Catabwa history.. We were greeted by Beckee when we walked in.. We immediately noticed the age of the place and the excellent condition it's in... There is a gift shop that has many great items.. There is a picture that takes up an entire wall and then a whole huge room of history and information.. We were just amazed and learned a lot of the Catabwa history... We highly recommend it and just loved the experience...

Great visit ! Interesting native Americans artifacts but the visit was great overall thanks to a very friendly Catawba Princess host named Becky. She greeted us in the Catawba language and made visit particularly interesting for my teenage daughter by teaching her some words. Our family from France loved it !

Julius Edwards

Such potential. Brought friends from out of town to learn about the Catawba Indians from SC/NC. The museum outside was off-putting (unkept). Staff was excellent. The history side was sparse and no handouts to help you long the way. The museum shop was full of China knock offs and not much authentic for sale. Asked for trail map they didn't have one. So we headed to the Catawba river. Trail and stops not maintained and at the river end it was overgrown. I believe they have lack of funds, they need help maybe a boy scout troop can help with the trail as one of their projects. Still you should go but keep your expectations low.

Dwayne Potts

It has great pottery and other craft for sale to the public. And has good information about our culture.
