Wonderful staff, they are absolutely delighted to tell you everything about Aiken. Great place to really get a good reading on the city in an effort to ascertain the present disposition of the general population. It's sort of this overlooked gem that contains some great information, ranging from the Antebellum period all the way to the current day. You may be surprised to learn that some of the people mentioned in those walls have family members that are now in the same positions of authority and high standing. I find the transfer of power along blood lines to be quite intriguing to say the least

Kimberly Cabaniss

Great place for the family to visit

David Williams

Much larger than I thought it would be. Lots of exhibits.

Sarah Tyree

It may look small when you pull up but it's deceptive. Going inside the building is huge and quite of a labyrinth. There is so many different histories compiled here! Definitely a great venue for learning about the area.

Elissa Boisvert

Beautiful setting for an in depth museum! It explores the many people who contributed to the unique historical tapestry that is Aiken and their effect on our world. Must return, since it takes more than an afternoon to take in its many exhibits.

Museum is ok but old school building is not well take care of. When we try to go and see inside little school was closed and looks moldy and smells moldy too. Another thing museum needs more exhibits.

Beautiful piece of history to visit and learn a lot about Aiken. I drove past here on my lunch break and decided to check it out, the shrubbery is well maintained as was the rest of the exhibit. They make you feel right at home and were excited to teach me about Aiken’s history. Wonderful place.
