REVIEWS OF Rhode Island Computer Museum IN Rhode Island

Fantastic hand-on tour with artifacts and history that you won't find anywhere else. It really helped give a basic understanding of how computers work and how technology has evolved to where we are today. We spent nearly three hours in the Learning Lab and warehouse. My favorite artifact was Harry Crane's IBM 360 computer from the last season of Mad Men. I wish the best to the RI Computer Museum as they grow their museum and programs and encourage others to visit.

Really really amazing, they have things from 40+ years ago that still work.

Even if you work with computers or know a lot about them it will still bring you joy to see all historic machines preserved in perfect working condition. And if you or your kids would like to learn more about history of computers, play the first video game on PDP11, learn how to program Raspberry Pi, work with virtual reality, and much more, you're definitely in the right place.

If your interested in computers or technology this place is a must visit. The staff is very freindly snd extremely knowledgeable. They have a extensive collection of hardware and interactive displays. I would recomend taking the warehouse tour as well.

Explore tech history, get a glimpse of cutting-edge tech, and have fun creating with computers! Nice spot for a family to visit, a mecca for gearheads, and a great place for kids to conceive/code/create. Very friendly and engaging staff/volunteers, stunning collections, cool workshops! I visited for the first time in Feb. and loved it so much I became a volunteer.

As a fan of old computers this place is the coolest. Lots of working old systems to poke at as well as raspberry pi's and robot to try your hand at coding. Everyone who volunteers there always has incredible insight and stories to share.
