Cool arts.

Important history to be learned of Blackstone Valley's role in Industrial Revolution, Immigration, life in a mill village, role of religion in the community as well as the company store. Excellent exhibits and outstanding special events: e.g., French-American celebrations! Parking lot across street and handicapped spaces near door.

Tim Blankenship

Very cool. Solidarity forever.

Peter Isreal

Great place to take you back to the historical flashback to French Woonsocket RI back when the roads were cobblestone! Great parking space. The lights can be confusing going in or out, your best way to go is at River Fall's light and turning in through there to find a spot. 5

What a neat little museum! I was in RI for a meeting and, as I was driving home, saw a sign for this museum. The name interested me, so I took the exit and made a visit. So glad I did! I learned so much about the culture of RI and the workers who came from other countries to work in the mills. There are really beautiful and well done recreations of a school room, a house and the inside of a church. Make time for a visit, you'll be so happy you did! Also, the young lady at the front desk was very informative and passionate about the place!

This museum tells the story of many of my ancestors. It was a beautiful representation of their journey. We spent mother's day here, which was a perfect choice to celebrate my mother, grandmother, and the women that came before.

This memorial displays and explains the engaging artifacts and history around the surviving soldiers who fought in France. Through many trepidations these surviving soldiers and their families were bound to settle in Rhode Island. The Work and Culture Museum creates an exceptionally realistic sketch of these peoples traumanic and pleasing events, life styles, and time-line that helped cultivate Rhode Islsnds rich, enovative, industrious, and enduring generis culture. I greatly recommend this historical learning tool for multiple of reasons /purposes. J.L. Elizabeth Girard

This museum was a really cool experience. I had no idea that the mills that formerly existed in this area had such a strong connection to both the former French-Canadian culture of the area (which I also knew very little of) and changing labor rights movements. Very worth a visit

Was an ok place. Kinda dusty. It's hard to counter how poorly immigrabts have been treated over the couple of hundred years since this country's founding, yet people are still horrible to one another.

Samuel Moehrke

What a cool place. No idea that Woonsocket was by far a majority French Canadian city up until at least the 50's. According to the woman at the desk, older folks still speak French with one another..
