My kids recently came home from school and told us they had a visit from Nathaniel Greene and he told them about himself. They were fascinated he was from Coventry. We called and the caretaker was so accommodating and a offered to allow us to visit on a day it is not open. She was awesome! We spent a hour and she answered so many questions that the kids had. What a great opportunity to experience some local history. It should be said, I've lived in Coventry for 20+ years. It took my 9 and 6 year old daughter's wanting to learn to encourage me to visit this historical gem. I encourage you to take an hour, you won't regret it!!!

It's a great historical gem hidden on back roads that I'm sure were former horse trails. The volunteers here are very enthusiastic and informative and you can get close to a private tour. The General was instrumental in the birth of our independence.

I was raised in this area. We had our senior pictures taken there in 1975. The homestead looks beautiful and the man putting it all together and his sister very welcoming and friendly. A must see!

Very historical spot. If you're an American history lover, then you should come check this place out. They give tours and explain the life and time of Nathanael Greene. They also do reenactments, which are pretty interesting as well.

Fantastically informative, a wonderful time. Some sweet antiquities, and a cannon out back. Heard a water fall but after almost two hours, another time perhaps indeed it was fun

Our entire family (it was a reunion) visited the home. The guide was enthusiastic about the homestead. The Museum allowed us to have a picnic on grounds, and even helped to set up the chairs and tables, under a tent. The setting was very pleasant, and all enjoyed the tour.
