Perfect place to go with your kids, it can take the whole day to go and it worth it.

Celina Nicole

I'm really disappointed to see that not much has changed since we last visited--OVER FOUR YEARS AGO. They need to update a lot of things. My seven years old son enjoyed it a lot but of course my ten years old son was over it, lol. There is really nothing for kids 10 and over to do, which is very sad. So my oldest son pretty much assisted me with with his younger brother. We were all over this place after about 90 minutes. If you have a toddler, this place is amazing and offers so much for them to do... BUT if you have kids 9 years and older, skip this place for sure.

Mary French

Drove nearly 2 hours for the Superhero event that was cancelled without notice. Unfortunately, we had purchased 2 adult , 1 child and a parking pass, totaling about $75, last night. We had a very disappointed 7 year old and had to spend time in a museum geared to toddlers up to 5 (?) years. A waste of a day and alot of money. If you have a child in the age group that would enjoy this, the museum is well done and in a beautiful building. When we left, after 12 or 1 p.m., they were still advertising the Superhero event.

Car R

My daughter loves it here . But they need to change some of the experiences

Lady 'Cita

Great outing for the family. Easy tonfet to.

Sharese Collins

This museum is amazing. I took my kids here (7 and 1&1/2) and they both had a great time. They thought of everything. It's a very innovative place. I wish there was one in California.

Joan Borrelli

This is a fun place to spend time with children aged 2 to about 8. Everything is hands on, and children get a chance to be a bus driver, doctor, astronaut, shopper, sail boats and have tea with the Mad Hatter, plus much more. My four year old grandson loved every minute that we were there. I only gave four stars because the ticket price of $19.00 is the same for all ages and it's an extra $3.00 to ride the carousel. Also, a few things in some of the attractions didn't work and the seats in the car that children can drive are ripped and taped. This should be fixed. However, the young people who work there are wonderful. They interact with the children and really enjoy them. All the staff are very nice.

Nick Chappell

The kids had a blast! Definitely for the younger kiddos, those over ~6 would quickly get border unless they are helping out with younger siblings. There were a variety of things to do and kept everyone entertained for about 3 hours. Prices are a bit high for what it is, at $20 per person for both kids and adults this can be an expensive day for not much value. Free and available street parking helps offset the high cost.

Sophia Stone

My young daughters love this place. They love the grocery store, bakery and the play hosptial. The Alice in wonderland exhibit is nice also. There is kids Septa bus in there. Also a rocket from Wanamaker Department store. Lots and lots of great memories. The old style merry go round was the best. ONE PIECE of advice. Bring kids Purcell and wash hands all the time. Kids are little germ feats and you don’t want to get them sick by another kids

Yolaynie Cruz

I love this place with your access card you get you and 3 other people in for $2 a piece I mean come on the kids love this place and it’s not breaking my pockets.

Ricardo Cunningham

So much for the kids to do, never ends. Wish they had more adult sitting areas, if they have any

SAGE AWK

This place is a very nice space for children. You can run around and play in various settings. There is a lot for a kid to do all in fun. They also have certain times of the month were admission is discounted. The building that houses the venue is known as Memorial Hall. This building was part of the May 10th, 1876 Worlds Fair. Just across the street would have sat the Main Exhibit Hall, and in the middle would have ran the monorail system they designed to bring patrons all over to see the beautiful park. Those days are long gone now, The only thing that has remained are Memorial Hall. Please come and enjoy all Philadelphia has to offer!! Philadelphia Get To Know us!!!!

The museum looks huge on the outside but there wasn't that much to do in the inside for an eight your old. If your children are 4 and under I think the place is ok but still pricey. The best part for me was there food.

Arpit Goyal

At $19 each plus the $12 parking expected lot more than what it had. carousel requires another $5 for unlimited rides. If you have kids above 5, go only one time, else you can bring them multiple times. More for kids age 1-4. Post that it is just one time activity.

Alicia Blackburn

Great time, especially if there are no school trips. Staff is friendly and always tidying up. Changing themes makes it a great time and love going back to see what is going on.

Ida Giroir

Awesome.....my great nephew & I couldn't get enough! He's 2, & as we all know 2 year olds can't get enough of anything!!! As an adult I found this place wonderfully exciting;from the cars, to the water area, to the grocery section, to the train exhibit, to the floor art........on & on & on & on. What a wonderful museum. I had almost forgotten how much I missed doing this. My boys are now grown...but I recommend for all ages... DON'T FORGET THE STUB FOR PARKING THEY GIVE THIS TO YOU AT THE REGISTER WHEN YOU PAY FOR ENTRANCE to the museum!!!! I NEARLY TOSSED MINE LOLOL

Kae Queen

We just visited the Please Touch Museum for the first time and really enjoyed it. Our children are 6 years old, 5 years old, and we have twins that are 21 months old. There was something for everyone there, but I think our overall favorite exhibit was the rockets. Everything felt pretty clean, except for the foam blocks. The food was good, but pricey. We would definitely return.

Krati Agrawal

Great place for 2 year olds. Kids go crazy in supermarket section. Lots to do here. Let the kids find their way. You can easily spend whole day here. They have music time as well. I also saw 4-5 year olds enjoying themselves. Their is a carousel also for kids. Separate ticket to enjoy carousel.

Charles Kizis

OMG this was such a delight! I was just so amazed how great this was! There were so many things for the children to do and so much for the adults to look at it really was great for the entire family. They had this really cute little shopping Supermarket set up where they have little carts and they would run around put the stuff in their carts or baskets and go shopping for groceries like Mom and Dad! We even had a child designated as the checker outer LOL however he charged us $500 for some bread and vegetables! Talk about capitalism everywhere huh! The only thing was there was barely any shopping carts it seemed, like I counted the ones I saw and it was like four or five. But there's 20 kids running around at any given moment. Overall it was a great experience and we had a blast. I would recommend this to anybody. It was a great great experience!

Charlotte Kelly

The kids love this museum. Everything is hands on and they spend HOURS in the miniature grocery store. I do wish they would add or rotate exhibits more often.

Cotrenia Pritchett

So many stories book favorites to see and Plus the Mary go round wow Alice imponderable land OMG

Francisco Pineda

Place was nice, kids have fun and play around parking was nice too .

Neil Angotta

Great place for kids between 1-4. Can be busy during the weekends but there’s so much to do inside that the flow of people moves well. Great for a rainy day.

Beau Arrich

Seriously the best spot for kids. If you have an Access Card there are steep discounts. Such a fun place to enjoy and learn. The kids had a great time, as did we. The staff is super friendly and new attractions are always popping up. You'll worth the trip.

Zac Ertel

The kids enjoyed the water boat area and the food area. There is a snack bar that had hot dogs chicken nuggets and premade sandwiches and salads for the healthy options. The tickets are a little pricey but I recommend looking online to see of there are any deals or groupons.

Anthony S

The Please Touch Museum was a wonderful experience for my family. The museum was very big and had lots to do. As the name implies, it is a very hands on experience. Fun: 5/5: There was lots to do. Enjoyed seeing my 20 month old run around and explore. The exhibit designs were fun for adults too. I imagine for kids older than 9 to 10 it may be a little less interesting however. Atmosphere/ambience 5/5: You are greeted by a large building with dome and beautiful architecture upon walking in. The exhibits are very well crafted. Amenities 5/5: Visible and clean restrooms. There is food and a carousel within as well. Service 5/5: Polite and accommodating. Value 5/5: Went on the "first wednesday" of the month which provides a steep discount. At full price value rating would drop to 4. Wonderful experience. Definately worth a visit again.

Anthony Weiss

Great indoor playground / museum / learning center for kids to explore. Have gone with kids from ages 6 months to quip years, and they all find something fun. Membership is a great value

David Patton

The best place to take the kids, or grandkids, for the day. Very interactive, educational and entertaining for kids of all ages. New location is very nice.

Justin Adams

Kids love this place. Has so much to do, see, and play with. Staff was super friendly and engaged and knowledgeable. There is an exhibit that changes, keeps it different each time we go. Seen signs for what was coming next and already booking our trip. Fees were very fair. By online if visiting during week to save more.

Jeong Kim

Imagine an art museum turned into a kids cafe. Anyways, I think they could've utilized the design and the setup a little more creatively and cleaner. Was okay.

Patricia Webster

Did the ovarian cancer walk had a wonderful time.

Larbi Abiadhi

Hi I was with my family today In the museum , I was really disappointed by the non welcoming and the hate face from the cashier that was their . She was irrigant, non smiling face , and she show the hate in her face . It is really discriminatory place . I did not see her name because her badge was in the backside( she looks Spanish lady with age of 30 probably). With all of that I was polite with her and said thank you when she gave me the tickets but she did not even answered back and she look to us very weird . Disgusting place.....

Katherine Maccarone

Absolutely amazing. My 2 year old had a BLAST here! One of the best children's museums we have been to with him! So much to do, so much to see, and lots of places to get his energy out! My buddy slept like a log on the ride home!

Delores Willis

I hadn’t been here in many years since it was part of the Art Museum. I was very impressed with all the activities there were for the children. My granddaughter is 2 and everything fascinated her. The supermarket still remains one of the favorite things for the children. I loved the Alice in Wonderland set. There’s a story time and a creative studio. Will definitely take my twin granddaughters when they turn 2.

Tammy Meske

Really great place for kids to run and play!

Sharon Eskridge

My husband and I took our grandbaby on a Sunday and we had a great time. It's larger than it looks. She loved everything about it and asked to go back to visit. Very nice museum for family.

Celine Fu

My 2.5 yrs son loves here! We could spend a whole day here!

Selena Pinkney

My 3 y.o loves this museum. Great place to go to get out of the house. Can sometimes be really crowded but overall just a fun place. I think the price is reasonable and I always find free street parking.

Rocky Citro

We live in Jersey so we often go to the Discovery museum. This is a bigger version of that and definitely some fun stuff there. Our girls liked the Alice in Wonderland exhibit. If you plan to go a few times then the membership is worth it. I thought that going once it was quite pricey. But overall fun day and the food was decent too.

Chan Sohn

What a great establishment. I've taken kids here of all ages, and the learning has been constant. Their exhibits change regularly and often features characters my kids recognize (like Daniel tiger). The water play, train exhibit, Alice in Wonderland maze are all solid exhibits and we still look forward to visiting everytime!

vivek bajaj

Gr8 place for kids .. lots of activities.. gun rides.. train bus car.. carousel.. gud 1 day kids trip

Konstantinos Rizakos

Really small, really basic, and for really small children! Very expensive, too ($76 for a family of four) The exhibits are well crafted but they only cater to toddlers. Think of a wooden imitation-train engine, and a plastic lettuce that your toddler can throw in a tiny cart in a mini-supermarket. The building is quite spectacular, as is a model of the 1876 fair for which it was constructed (in the basement). But that’s about it.

Natasha Danielle

Whats not to love about this place!? Children can have fun in a safe place! They can touch everything and run around. When you get home they are tired lol

Pinney "Phil" Wolman

Went with the wife and kids for a few hours. This is a great place for little kids. Ages 2-6 is probably best. The only part my 8yr old daughter liked was the Alice in wonderland maze. We got a great deal by staying at the courtyard Marriott in Philly. They offer 4 free tickets and breakfast as part of a package deal.

Lazi Flores

Great place to bring children from all ages. We spent 3 hrs here and still didn't get to see everything so definitely can spend an entire day here.

Elisabeth Budd

Great museum for little kids! My daughter (5) and i loved exploring this museum. There was so much to see and do, I wish we had anither hour or so. Astronomy show was amazingly done, food was reasonably priced for a museum and they even have a carousel! Bathrooms were pretty clean, given the number of families there. Admission was a little higher than what i would've liked, but definitely worth it.

Travis Errickson

My family has visited this place numerous times and it has never cease to entertain everyone. Don't let this Philadelphia location dissuade you, it's a simple drive with parking right on the street or their lot in a beautiful and safe section of the historic city. The museum itself is extremely unique, well organized, and super fun for the whole family. It's busy but not overwhelming, food prices are fair, and so is the entry. Get here early, you're going to to need the time to see all the themes and attractions this place stores

La Bre'a Faulkner

My 1 year old and 10 year old both had a great time!

Yesim Igci

Our 2-year-old had a great time.

Paula Brasch

Fun place for the kids. Downstairs could use a little love. The "hospital" area is empty no babies or doctor tools for the kids and no shopping carts in the grocery store area.

Marcial Reyes

Had high expectations due to the reviews online. But once we got here, was not impressed. Very underwhelming kids museum with either half of the interactive exhibits not working and a very outdated and uninteresting layout, especially the downstairs area besides the market. Also be careful of the actual moldy bread and rusty cans u may run into! No joke! I Really wished Philly put more upgrades into there museums especially the ones for the kids. But as of now I wouldn't go back here. Very disappointed.

David Donovan

Hands down one of the very best kids museums anywhere. 5 stars because Google won't let me give it 6 stars.

Meli Stafford

Nice for very young children (under 10 yrs old). You can visit the entire museum in 1 hour. I heard tickets are cheaper online. There is a free waiting areagift shop and cafe near entrance if you want to wait while parent or guardian enters the museum.

Deborah Kline

Brought our grandson. Good fun for young children

Sara Raudenbush

I love visiting the Please Touch Museum with my 3 children. We have never eaten there until today, and unfortunately the food was so terrible that my children took one bite each of their chicken and pizza and then threw it away. $22 down the drain

Danny Zayas

As a place for young kids, its awesome, but just for young kids. They advertise as 3-12, but i went with my 12 year old, and he was way too old for what they had to offer. For younger kids though, its perfect.

Mr TraxxOnDeck

Unprofessional staff to say the least! I visited this location not by choice. I didn’t view the museum. I was only there for my job! The museum was closed, they were having an employee party during the time the museum was reserved for another occasion which was why I was there. The experience with the staff was horrible from 2 ladies. As a visitor, I would never come back to avoid these two. It’s hard to imagine how they interact with children considering how I was treated for trying to exit the exit door. No reply needed thank you.

Brad Allen

Not a lot of places you can take a 16 month old toddler besides the park. This place fit the bill. Our daughter had an amazing time running around the place engaging with cars, trucks, all kinds of things that were her size. It is a beautiful re-imagining of a cool historical building. So fun!

keila mendez

I love all the tgings they have for the kids some days they have special things on like germs how to wash ur hands i just love rhat place over all

D Jackson

The museum grounds are immaculate. The lot the museum is located on is very spacious. The museum is 2 floors of activities for children of all ages. When you walk into the museum you see a gigantic replica of the torch of The Statue of Liberty made out of different objects. There are activities on each floor that are geared toward certain topics ie. one of the mazes is Alice in Wonderland. There is a small food court where you can purchase food and different kinds of organic drinks. It was very clean and sanitary. There is a parking lot that is for paying visitors but there is parking located on the street. There is a discount for purchasing tickets online as opposed to buying them at the door. Such a great place to spend the day. Definitely recommend.

R Angel West

They should have more stuff for kids to do and explore like the old Please Touch Museum like the airplane, train rides, bus that has more stuff for kids to do then just drive, stuff to put together and take apart. The site showed a carriage and other stuff which wasn't there at all

Gina Doherty

They really fell apart. The kids still love it but there was rooms changed and things closed off. Alot of toys were missing

Kimberly Stephens

This place is the best! I took my 15 month old nephew and spent over 3 hours there. He was having a blast and we could have easily stayed longer if he didn't need a nap!

Hasan Ajmal

The kids always have a great time over here. Awesome place to visit.

Michael Smith

Perfect place for our little ones! Parents, buy tickets for the carousel! I was lucky to have some amazing locals give their's to me. Trust me, You don't want your little girl asking "when is it my turn daddy?" Knowing that the line is 30 minutes long.

Hitesh Thakur

Great museum, lot of activities to Keep kids engaged. My little one loved it and want to visit again. Parking is not free, should be made free for members visiting the museum.

Jacob Moux

Very nice place. Fun for children and adults. Encourages you to be hands on and interactive with everything.

Hyemin Ju

Loved this museum for our one-year-old! So many activities for him to interact with. Appreciative of the safe play zones for kids 3 years old and under, as well. Little one napped for four hours afterwards! Usually only sleeps for two, so hubby and I got a little break time

Chris Cordes

Great Kids Museum in Philly! A lot of different items and exhibits. Very well done. Definitely appreciated the selection and diversity of exhibits. Overall I hope it continues to be there and remains successful.

Francisca Hom

expensive ($19 per adult or kid), but reasonable for for you get. two level with many areas of fun. top level houses massive water table on one side and fast-food/cafe, and transportation with real objects or very real replicas (including sit-in stationary monorail) on the other. in the addition on the side, one finds a Muslim theme exhibit, along with a camping scene, robot showcase, and a rocket launch. the top level alone was enough to kill half a day. lower level has a life-size community combo: shoe shop, bakery, supermarket, mail service, small hospital (equipped with stationary ambulance, gurney, and MRI machine!), etc. middle of the section is art studio on one side, theater and railroad exhibit + huge landscape model on the opposite. towards the end is an elaborate Alice In Wonderland maze, combined with gift shop and ramp going back up to ground floor. truly an amazingly designed place for kids age 2 to... at least 9. had to leave in a rush so didn't get to check out the carousel ($3 per ride, included in membership). ample street parking outside. umbrella stroller available for loan.

Dennis Stapola

We were there 8 years ago and little has changed or been cleaned or repaired. Many of the attractions for the children do not work & are worn out. The museum needs updating. Our grandchildren were bored and wanted to leave. Beautiful building and food in cafe not bad, but overall our visit this past weekend 6/2019 was disappointing.

Harl Humphrey

Lots of great activities for the kids. Separate toddler sections near the areas for all ages, so you can watch the toddlers and older kids.

Style Diversity

My children adore this place. I have been bringing them here since they were at least two years old and they still love it at 10 and 13. You will create memories with your children here and they always have workshops featuring multi cultural displays and history. Highly recommend.

Bharath C V

Good place for kids to spend time in winter. Around 4 hrs of fun for toddlers

Daylena Waters

Cute museum for kids. Took my son for his 3rd birthday and he loved it! I think we adults enjoyed it just as much if not more than the kids did.

Reed O'Neal

If you have kids 2-7 this museum is awesome. So much for them to do, can easily spend 3-4 hours here. Did not try the food during our visit but the exhibits were great for kids. So much to do and very interactive. Highly recommended for families with younger kids.

Wendy V

Museum was fun but cafe was disappointing. They were out of hot dogs, mac cheese and sausage. How do U run out of staples kids items?

Tatiana Mazurkina

It was interesting for a three old one. I think museum is up to 6 years. The older ones will be bored. And the tickets are too pricey.

Quetta Nyree

Great family place and school trip to go to. Fun atmosphere. Didn't order any food brought own.

Camila Anderson

We love visiting Please Touch Museum! I want to give a shout out to Brady! You are the Please Touch Museum's best asset. Out of all the attractions and staff you are my kids favorite! Thank you for being awesome!

Tishe Williams

Over priced not what I expected at all. Up grade is due. Alot of Exhibits did not work or broken. Got all that money everything should be up and running. They all need up grades. Investors should come see what their money is paying for. Not cool.

Jamin Yoder

A wonderfully interactive museum. My children loved it!

Vince Vitello

It was nice for kids 8 and under. Only worth the price if you had membership. Per visit cost is very expensive. The cafe is over priced and was out of lots of hot items.

Cindy Moss

Love it has everything a child could imagine the one place where you dont have to say stop touching everything

Bree

I love everything about this place. Great for my kids to run free and have fun .

Ilse Denisse Catalan

Whaaaat! We took my daughter here and she ran buck wild for 3.5 hours. Cried on the way out the door. It was amazing. Do you want to spend quality time and still check out? Go here. Your kid won't even notice you exist except to ask for a snack and a sip of water before diving back in. But wear comfortable shoes because they don't have a lot of seating and your kids will have to be dragged out the door. I rate this place @ Please Take My Money level!

Laverne Foley

Very well educated. Family environment

Alexandria Carraway

A lot to do in the Please touch museum and the service and bathrooms were clean. I would have been more comfortable if I saw the staff sanitizing as we went

Anna Cook

Had Wawa Anniversary Party here. It was so much fun and great to be in here after closing hours.

Ahmed Abdelbaki

***FREE PARKING ON THE STREET *** It's called a museum but there is nothing "museum" about it. It's a Home Depot size McDonald's Play Place. The visiting exhibit was the only learning experience. Carousel ride should be included in ticket price for kids for one time and additional rides should charge extra. They charge for parking but parking is free DIRECTLY in front of the "museum". They charge $19 for 1 year olds but a lot of things were not for them. They couldn't reach the water for the rubber ducks or boats. And many other exhibits were not for them. Also adults should not pay full price as kids do. Not for ages above 6 and no less than 24 months. The museum will tell you 1-8. The room downstairs with the trains smelled moldy and my son couldn't go in due to the smell.

Anne Bo

My babies love this place... my 4 yr old asks to go to the museum about 3-4 times a week... we will definitely be make another trip here...

Lori Smith

I really enjoyed this museum with my young grandchildren. It is very big and there is so much to do. There is a carousel and the kids tickets are only $3.00 and then adults ride for free. There were a lot of neat hands on exhibits. One of our favorites was the Alice in Wonderland exhibit. They have so much to do we didn't have time to explore everything. I would definitely go back.

Patricia Joseph

I went with my daughter and grandson kids and we all had a blast. The children loved the hands on activities while learning so much and I have to admit I loved the place too. It brought out the kid in me. We bought books and toys for the kids. I can't remember what we ate there but we did have ice cream at the bottom of the steps to the museum which we bought from an ice cream truck parked outside.

LJ

Very fun and interesting concept. Your young child is guaranteed to love it.

Klarisa Rosado

I enjoy going with my family. Maybe should make a space for infants. Will definitely bring alot more people

Cole Kaye

I absolutely loved this place. The design is done so well, and leaves so much room for families to explore without being on top of each other. They have so many exhibits that both children and adults can enjoy.

M H

Definitely entertaining and educational for the children. The employees were also very helpful. Makes for a nice family outing.

Shane Sandlin

Great place for the kids 5 and under.

Antoinette Gilbert

Had a great time with my grandson. It was his first visit. He loved the carousel.

Chris C

Great place. Our kids had tons of fun. Highly recommended.

Patrice A Thomas

Great place to bring young toddlers. They can touch everything, exciting new exhibits are always added. Great gift shop and cafe.

Nicholas Webb

I took my family their. My 6, 3, and 1 year olds all had a blast. Many people recommend it for young children and they were right. It was spread out enough to not feel to busy and a great assortment of different things for the children to do. It was very clean and well taken care of. If you don't want to pay to park o recommend getting their early and park on the street. If we are back in town we will make sure to go again. I will make sure to recommend it to everyone I know.

Steph Paylor Raufer

At first I thought my 5 & 6 y.o. were too old but I think they were just overwhelmed with all the activities. They really got into the Bistro downstairs, making and serving sandwiches with style. As an adult I enjoyed the Colombian Exposition exhibit and model. Pro tip: I wish I had known street parking is free before entering the $12 lot!

Howie Mcnicol

We went here with our two young grandchildren and they had the best time! We definitely tried to touch everything! I think it is a great idea to have such a nice place for kids to explore! There are areas for climbing, water tables, a mini grocery store, a transportation area, and a there was also a musical sing/dance along time! The carousel was fun too! Obviously, there were MANY kids! But we had a great visit! Will go back!

Jonathan Cooper

1 part chaos + 1 part adventure + 1 part FUN! Your kids will love it. Plenty of room, plenty to see, plenty of space if they (or you) need a break. This is the most hands-on day at the museum your kids will get. (thus the name!) Take the time and go through 2X. Have them pick out their favorites or ask them where "Alice" or the "Statue of Liberty" was and make them navigate ... it's so much fun!

Renaye Devlin

The Please Touch Museum is a great place to bring kids to learn and play with things in everyday life. I love bringing my nieces and nephew here, there is the carousel, the grocery store, a small house, the ways water moves with air and so much more. Access cards and group discounts are available here for a discount. So anyone can afford to come here with their kids!

Rachel Bales

What a great day at the museum! There is so much to see and do. We spent about three hours there and could have probably squeezed another hour in if we weren't so tired. My kids are 4 and 8 and there was plenty to keep them both entertained. If I lived in Philadelphia I would definitely get a membership.

Dana Cook

It had been 10 years since I last visited the museum and upon our visit this week, I saw how much was still the same & really needed a face lift - Both inside and out! That is my strongest critique. My 2 year old son really did enjoy himself, though, & all staff we encountered were very pleasant.

Joshua Sirchio

it's getting better, but some of the exhibits are still a little bit tired. If they could invest a little more money in the things that are there permanently, I think the kids would have a much better experience. But if you want a simple trip where the kids will run around and burn off some energy, this is it.

Sasha Miller

Wonderful experience! Great day out with little ones.

Sheila Ulloa

Great for kids. A few exhibits but nice.

Kim Schult

Omg Probably the best thing to do with kids in Philadelphia. Had an amazing day

enzo baldwin

Going here once is enough for me. There was essentially no parking and I had to drive around in circles with my family for an eternity. After waiting in a line for 1/2 hr I was in! There are a couple levels to walk through. It was ok I was hoping for something a little more in depth. Brace yourselves to navigate through crowds of children like never before.

Gary M

Just waited over 40min to get in with a 2yr old, kids crying in front of and behind me. Get this, I paid extra to be a member last time we were here and was in the supposedly faster, member's admission line. They still had to check my ID and manually locate me in their computer system. This is a CHILDREN'S museum! How can the admissions line be this ineffecient!? Get it together!

the jasmine show

good my son had so much fun

hogwartsteacherspet

I took my 4 and 3 year olds to the museum for the first time today amd they had a blast. As a matter of fact, the 4 year old declared it "the best day ever!" There is a lot of stuff to do and friendly and helpful staff all around. There were (very limited) vegan options, but we all had lunch successfully at the cafe. The story time was cute and interactive. There were plenty of bathrooms around for the little bladders that don't wait too well! It was pricey, $50 for the 3 of us, plus $5 for each kid to ride the carousel, but we spent hours there doing fun and interesting activities, so I think it was worth the price of admission.

Maya Miles

The Islamic exhibit is very neat and educational, glad I had a chance to experience while it was here. Would recommend for any family and or schools/camps

Kathy Mues

It is the best . My granddaughter loves The Alice in wonderland room !

Beauty Dior

Needs a little work on the broken floors for safety concerns otherwise still a fun place to take the kids.. Loving the new Muslim Exhibit.. Especially since I'm Muslim ..Al hamdulillah for that!!

EK Lucas

Any child with a sense of curiosity and adventure will be quite happy here and it's small enough for parents to keep a reign on the little runners.

I have a membership as my 2 year old loves it and asks to go to “please touch” everyday! It’s expensive if you don’t have a membership but we are fortunate to live close by making it worth it. The cafe offers a good range of food. Employees are always very nice.

Great museum, perfect place for the kids to keep busy for many hours, they have lots of pretend play stuff to do such as a very big pretend supermarket, pretend hospital, pretend bus, pretend train, and many more, they have a big duckie pond for the kids to play with, a rocket room and more, they are on the pricier side but they definitely had a lot to do, I will definitely be coming here again.

Was there for a banquet food was out of this world everything was wonderful places nice want to visit again to touch everything

Just No

This place is everything! I love the open area and the kids love exploring and touching literally everything. As much as I love it I don't tend to go enough which I should. This place is so unique so when we go I call it the Special Museum so my kids know they are free to explore I don't want them to get in the habit of touching everything at other places. When we leave the kids immediately pass out in the car.

David Pratzon

We are members and visit when our grand kids are in town. (Note: members ride the carousel free.) They find new things to explore each time we go, but also have favorites to revisit. We were lucky this time...summer camp is over and school hasn't started yet. The place was not nearly as crowded as usual.

Har Kaur

Good place for kids for pretend play, but one time visit for adults.

Maura Steele

Always fun, just remember to wash ur hands frequently or u will get sick!

Ken Smethers

Perfect place to bring your children to make them aware of some knowledgeable things. The place was attractive and the infrastructure was amazing. There also food court here which serve delicious food. Overall recommended place for children .

Haven’t been here since school days. Now that i am a mother i decided to take my son there and he loved it and i did as well. And it was very educational. They are having an Islamic theme and i must say it’s a beautiful thing to see. Al Hamdulillah. And when it was time to leave my son cried and tried to run back into the building so I’m sure he had a ball.

Barbara Hesse

Wonderful concept. Everything (except a FEW pieces of original art) is MEANT TO BE TOUCHED. Great for children. I liked the fact that they had play areas specifically for those who are under 5 years old.

Tanya Straus

What a fun place for kids! My 2.5 year old loved it so much that we decided to buy a membership right away. The carousel is fun but pretty fast (can make you dizzy!) So be careful. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also, this is a huge one for me: they have hand sanitizer on almost every wall!! With thousands of little hands touching everything I am glad they have this available. This place is great for fostering creativity and exploration.

Mark Azevedo

My Grandkids had a great time...we spent 2 hours there.

Henry Lowman

Everyone should take the kids.. Get out do something.. don't miss out!!

Comfort Bowens

This museum is the best. It is a safe place for the children to play and explore and learn. I loved that the children were able to interact with everything exhibit in the museum.

Penny Hamilton

Great place for children to have fun and to touch things

Maria Stathoudakis

My 3 year old nephew spent the whole day here and loved it. I was bored out of my mind! Thought the Septa and Shop Rite rooms were hilarious. The cafe food has great prices; not an arm and a leg.

Destiny Aigbe

One of the best museums around for kids. A must attend for anyone with kids in the midatlantic area.

Misha Bluvshteyn

Amazing museum for kids, had everything from a super market to Alice in wonderland to a moving carousel. We will be coming back here next time we are in Philly.

L J

My child loves visiting, always have a hard time trying to get him to leave! Worth the trip everytime.

LyricalAquarine

Great place to bring the little ones! I've been twice with mine and we've had a great time both times! They have different exhibits every now and then and they don't charge extra for them.

Jaleel Jordan

My children always have a blast. From the moment you enter and play in the water, to the carousel, to the parade at the end of the day!

Karen Uber

Great place for kiddos. Tons of space, lots of hands on exhibits for imaginative play. My kids loved the rocket exhibit and the water play area the most.

Be warned that if you are a carousel enthusiast who just wants to see the museum's historic Dentzel Carousel, but do not have a child with you, the museum staff will treat you like some kind of freak. Like, you are a threat to the children because you have the audacity to want to see one of Dentzel's creations. I had to hand over my driver's license and wear a Visitor lanyard despite the fact that I was a paying customer. And, despite having called twice to confirm the cost, I was told I would have to pay more to ride the carousel because I didn't have a child with me. I guess this museum lives in the 50s where every woman is supposed to be a mother. It was awful, and I really wish I had not spent $19 to be treated that way. The museum staff ruined the experience for me. This museum should see the way other Children's museums with historic carousels handle their admission. Other museums allow visitors to just pay to see/ride the carousel, and those museums welcome carousel enthusiasts and don't treat them like pariahs. I will not be back, and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

I have a membership for my kids, but I don't think I would buy one again. I have a 6 year old and a 6 month old. It's okay for the 6 year old but the 6 month old didn't have much. I think the perfect age for a membership is 2.5 to 5 years after which a one time visit is okay. I've only had the membership since April and have gone about 2-3 times a month. I also don't live that close so it's a bit of a hike.

Colleen Kirby

So much fun! There's no way you can get this entire place done in a day. There's always something new to explore. Perfect for ages 1-7, I think!

Kizzy Henry

This is an amazing place for a day out with your child first stress free worry free day with my 2 year old ever.

Kevin Pastine

My family are huge fans of this facility! The staff working is all fantastic and very helpful. The price is on point for what you get. And if you are members like we are it includes other great features...ie: early access, special events, FREE parking! Can't go wrong if you plan on going twice at least... and we go every Monday! The museum itself is pretty large, many great play areas. They have a garden where kids can harvest vegetables. A pizza shop, restaurant, grocery store, many different types of trucks (my boys favorite!). They also have different event areas that come and go with the season and what's popular. A huge hit is also the "rocket room". You construct a little foam rocket and are able to shoot it through targets at a predetermined angle. A big hit is also the water tables! Not enough great things to say about that, we spent about 45 minutes just in that area! And downstairs is an Alice in Wonderland themed playground, tea party, and flamingo croquette! And to top it off, they have a carousel! Can't go wrong there. All in all a great experience for everyone attending, even the grandparents had a ton of fun! I recommend to anyone that loves to play, touch, and be hands on! All ages would love this place!!

Yoann Lussier

A unique experience of touch and go. This museum is an eclectic attrction for your eyes and other senses.

Stefan Kassza

Massive military discount! Military (dependents included) get in free, and only get charged for parking. The museum itself has just about anything and is about as hands - off for parents as it could be, excluding, of course, basic supervision. There is also a very good - quality and reasonably priced cafeteria inside. I would not skip this attraction for kids in Philly - they will thank you for it!

Joseph Berrillo

Simply a great place for children and adults alike. Plenty of space and a friendly staff to top it off.

Wong Jamie

This museum is way much bigger than I thought it would be! It’s so huge and beautiful from the outside look!! The moment I went inside, I felt like I enter the magical kingdom of kids! There are so many interesting interactive items for kids to touch and play. Kids can be anything they want in there! Also there are so many fun and cute pretend stores there for kids to pretend to be anyone they want to be! Not only the kids would have fun, so does the adults!

Meredith Wilcox-Levine

Went for a wedding, what a fantastic space! I'm looking forward to exploring the museum in its entirety.

Natalie K

This is a fabulously entertaining and educational place for toddlers and young kids! The exhibits were well thought out, organized, clean, and perfect sizes for littles to engage. We loved drag queen story time! Our book reader did an amazing job speaking to both kids and their parents. A great place to spend a morning or afternoon!

Tonie Baker

A fantastic place to visit fun food an adventure I love it makes you want to be a kid again

Evgueni StOnge

Really cool for the kids, I had a great time and my friends 4 year old didnt want to leave. Definitely worth checking out if u have a family.

deonna diggs

My son had a lot fun. Really fun experience for the kids. I was just a little concerned with the cleanliness of the toys because I saw kids putting things in their mouths

Phillip Henderson

Good place to take young children. They can interact with all of the exhibits. They display old toys that adults played with as kids. The rocket exhibit was my daughter's favorite. She and her classmates went here for a trip. All the parents teachers and children had a great experience. I plan to return again with my whole family.

I just had my daughter’s first birthday party on Saturday and ordered the deluxe package for 45 people. The room (chipped green walls and in the basement) was barely decorated for the party and there was a shortage of centerpieces. There were only 3 tables when promised 6 adult tables. Some of my guests were told that there was no birthday party there that day when arriving and had to speak to multiple front desk people. They almost expected us to bring down the 50 lb cake ourselves until I had to request someone to come with a cart. There was no lighter for the candles and the guest experience host just said oh well and started singing! Horrible!) Immediately kicked out of the party room and rushed my daughters party. Asked to extend for a fee and told me they were understaffed. They only had one person in the room the whole time and no other accommodations. I never received the contract paperwork for the event. When I call, there is no answer. For a $1650 party I expected way more. Overpriced and disappointing. Please Touch Museum please call me or email me. I would prefer a refund.
