I would love to have one of these in my city. Would have been happy to stay there 8 hours.

Joseph Nicola

Perfect for all ages. Go yo OMSI after dark. It's kind of funny the things there that amaze kids can also amaze adults. They have some challenging brain teaser and rotating exhibits.

Clay Walker

Great place to do interactive science with your kids on a wide variety of "experiments". $2 Sundays are a cheap outing. If you are an adult without children, the museum will probably be boring save for a couple exhibits - this place is all about kids. It's definitely not worth the regular price of general admission alone. If you're going to do a tour go on a $2 Sunday. The museum has a small collection spread across several disciplines. The human development exhibit of actual fetuses was unique and fascinating. Mike on the USS Blueback tour was fantastic. His first hand anecdotes really helped give you a sense of what life was like on a diesel sub.

Ava Miller

Fun keepsakes

The science playground is amazing. My son is 3.5 and can spend hours exploring various exhibits and play areas here.

Noel Dong

Great range here

Vicky Walker

This place is awesome if you have kids under 10. If you don't, I'd skip it - it's more of a kids interaction center than a museum. The tour of the submarine was awesome for all ages though!

I'M A WEIRD PERSON

O.M.S.I is a really fun place to go to. It has places for kids and adults. There are games and science exhibits at O.M.S.I. You can go in there movie theater and explore space or the ocean. I would tell people to go there.

Jared Eckleby

Neat place, more for kids than adults but really great all around

Kandy Giles

I'm going for the toys & games made from natural materials like wood & plant fiber from OMSI's store this year for holiday gifts!!

Holly Amoako

We can hardly escape a trip to OMSI without a stop to goggle at all of the cool gadgets and sciencey trinkets. The selection is wonderful and one of our favorite places to get gifts for birthdays. It can be a bit on the pricey end of things but worth it for a unique gift.

Jordan Sigmund

Love OMSI and it's great for ALL ages!

Sammy Pathammavong

Love to catch movies at the Empirical Theatre.

Rebecca Davis

One of the best places to go in Portland especially if you have kids they have the indoor play place for kids with all year-round especially when it's raining I always buy the yearly family pass and you can get two tickets for the submarine or two tickets for the Omnimax Theater it's an excellent deal and it's right on the bus line it's a great place to go and take the family or go on a date or just your friends co-workers any event always great

Rebekka Morgan

Love coming here!

I remembered this being a lot more interesting, but the part of it that comes with the general admission (that is about $15) is quite small and then you have to pay extra for everything else.

X3M 2U

It’s fun for kids!

It’s a little pricey for normal admission- but it is part of ASTC passport program so we got in for free with our reciprocal membership. Parking is $5 and it’s very busy during summer time. They have a great area for young children with indoor sandbox but it can get very crowded.

Great time, Great place for the chitlins. A bit pricy, but member up you'll be fine. They got movies too! Food was okay, it would be nice if they had more options, different vendors... Food trucks outside maybe?? Overall has something for everyone.

A little overpriced, but the unique selection of scientific and educational goods makes up for it. Additionally, it helps support the organization.

Richard Daniels

Very cool place, for kids (and adults) of all ages.

Jessi Szigethy

Omsi is a great museum for all ages. Lota of hands on exhibits and a rotating large exhibit. We go once a week.

nenetzin vidal

A little bit Over priced and actually doesn't have things specifically for the museum, but they have another interesting stuff.

Josh Rassi

Something for everyone

Nikki Case

Loved it. So much fun with the kids

Amanda Lundbom

It was ok. Same thing from decades ago when I visited on school field trips. I dont understand why anyone would pay for a membership though- unless they have many different kids to take throughout the membership period. Because, you cant even go into the space show anymore on regular admission or memberships. Its lame. Pay for the dang show/museum u want to see (if you can afford paying for yourself and all your kids) and call it a day!! None of that (the special events, shows, museums, ect.) comes with your membership!

Alex MacPherson

Great insight into the world of Pixar. Fun for all, young and old. Well worth a visit.

Rebecca Ross

Joseph Banegas

CHRIS ANDRES

Christopher Benn

There is a serious lack of imagination to this museum. I really don't think there's been a real improvement since the mid 1980s. Kids seem to like it though. For the love of god please mix things up a bit!

Kathleen Adams

OMSI is the Best... We had special invite to meet a paleontologist and work on Fossil Bones, soooooo we had a blast.....

richard kalu

Great place for family and definitely for the little ones. There's a lot to explore and discover. Definitely worth visiting at least once

Vatodabs710 G

Neeva Dangol

An excellent place to spend the day! Many wonderful, and educational exhibits, with a variety of rotating exhibits. The large 3-D IMAX theater is awesome, and don't forget about taking in a show at the planetarium. Also once a month they offer an adult only evening where beer is sold.

Tanya Young

Yeah family thought we could get to the center early veggie they opened so we wouldn't have to wait, plus it was a weekday so shouldn't be busy, of heck no! Never seen someplace so busy and they just kept letting people in. The exhibits were cute, way more geared for small children. My favorite part was walking through the submarine, that was awesome, plus we had a talkative informative guide which always helps. Waiting an hour to see Lego's.... really that was not all it was cracked up to be. Yes he's very talented but we spent less than 10 min walking through. So if you are looking for something that will take all day and a big chuck of money, go for it.

James Woodard

It's a little overpriced but most of the products in there you can't find anywhere else in Portland.

Nicole Aulbach

Ross Harke

Great place with the family. Spendy, but you can be there all day

Tina Brick

Amazing Pixar exhibit

Ashley Bashlee

I used to be a really Big Omsi fan until the manager asked for my ID and my sister's as if there was a problem like we were lying about our membership. The tickets to the Disney Pixar Exhibit was not discounted as it was supposed to be. So I RETURNED my ticket and the woman at the front called the manager who made a scene. Telling me that my sister had to pay for readmission into the Pixar exhibit. So REDICULOUS. NOT TO MENTION having the audacity to ask ne if we were all leaving. My reply was no that she was already in the exhibit.

mary Black

It's very fun for young childern

Courtney Stevens

Love the hands on.

Missy McRae

KC Maw

very crowded, but many fun things to do

Leo's Travel

First visit here. On a Father's day weekend around 11am parking was not a problem. We ended up getting a Family Plus membership with parking pass. Totally worth it. We have been to many tech museums and always feel a bit rushed in trying to get to everything. This way, kids can spend as much time as they want on whatever they want and I wouldn't care. The way it is right now, I think we just going to spend the whole day in the Turbine Hall today. We are doing everything there is in the Chem Lab and don't feel rushed. Staffs are friendly as well. Obviously we will be back!
