Fun family outing, probably not for rambunctious little ones though. It would have been 5 stars if they had done some dusting. The rock exhibits are super cool and my son loved all the animal exhibits.

Lots of cool history here. I spent a couple hours just walking through the museum and trying to read everything and soaking all the information. They have a lot of great things on display. And it opens your eyes to other places you could visit that are around the area like the caves and the old Japanese Champs they used during the Pearl Harbor. I definitely recommend this Museum if you are trying to educate yourself about the history of Klamath Falls. It was a very nice visit. The Rock Museum part is one of the coolest.

If they are funded by taxes and donations like it stated on their website why is it $5 a person. As a kid I loved going my mom let me go almost any time because it was free. Some of the new stuff is ok but lots of things are gone. Blacklight rock section is really neat

Loved all the displays--totally give you good insight into Klamath county's history. Very well put together. Some of the showcases are old, but the information is still pertinent and interesting. Loved the Modoc War collection. Didn't have time to see the whole thing; we plan to go back.

larry stokes

Cool and historic spot. Only know knock was the lady upfront working did not wanna get off the phone. Think she was ignoring me on purpose..lol..so I didn't get to do the tour inside from the amtrak stop. But there's sweet historic items and monuments on the side were the black machine is on the left. It was the first brick making machine donated by Ralph and Alice Smith.

Jay Davis

The museum is a little slice of the history of the Klamath Basin. Before it was a museum, it was an armory that also served as as ballroom. The music artists that played here would amaze you.

A fantastic display of some pretty ordinary everyday stuff from back in the day. I used to come here on field trips as a kid. If you don't know what a field trip is I'm sorry for your wasted childhood.

This is a very cute little museum. It is located in the old armory building, a "bow truss" wooden structure of antique and uncommon quality by itself with a lot of its own history, so please also enjoy the structure too. Their staff at the museum is both very knowledgeable and friendly, so please ask a lot of questions. If you are into old photis. They have thousands not out for display as they are space limited.

Robin Smith

Though my personal history started outside of Klamath Falls and Oregon it was humbling to see some of the things my grandparents saw and shared stories of from their youth. So its a great place to go with an open and curious mind.
