I never got to go inside. Google should update that this place is closed during the month of January. I went there after looking at the times and days Google said this was open. The sign on the place said it was closed during January.

Small, go at your own pace, historical home dedicated to President Herbert Hoover and one of his childhood homes. Free guided tours. Also has air conditioning, so it was a nice respite on our warm hike around town. We enjoyed ourselves, and I would definitely take my mom next time she comes to visit :)

What an absolute Delight to see a restored home that Herbert Hoover lived in when he was a kid. A lot of original pieces in the house and the ones that weren't original were of the same time period And close to what they would have had. In addition to being beautiful, our guide was extremely knowledgeable not just about the history of the house and the life of Herbert Hoover, but also about his family who adopted him and the town of Newberg Oregon as well. I will go back if I make it back out there.
