Small glass museum with a super friendly staff. We went for a glass blowing class and wandered through the museum. Some neat stuff, especially if you like art glass or blowing glass.

Interesting museum! Only part I didn't like was that it was a guided tour by default. No option for a self guided tour. This would normally be ok, but we were on a time budget and had to leave halfway through the tour.

Teriffic collection of glassware by renowned Ohio glassmakers through the century, which was made more interesting by the excellent docent.

All of the staff/docents were very friendly and welcoming. Fair price for a tour, short movie, and glass blowing demo. Had a great experience overall and even got to buy a few things from the gift shop!

Natasha Groitzsch

Loved the glass blowing demonstration! Plan on returning to take some glass blowing classes!

Mart Groesser

Not worth the drive. If you advertise as the Ohio Museum of Glass, you need to have more then a couple of pieces of Ohio made glass. Most of what I saw was Pennsylvania and West Virginia made glass.

Matthew Sutherland

Outstanding venue! Talented glass blowers and great staff. An absolute pleasure to visit.

Dan Bradley

On site glass blowing.

Highly recommend the glass blowing class. The instructor was thorough, fun and you can't beat the price! Perfect for first-timers. The museum gift shop had a lot of affordable glass for sale. Very satisfied!

This place I beautiful and definitely would recommend this place if visiting from out of town. A beautiful place to learn some history throughout Lancaster Ohio!

Excellent place to visit while in Lancaster! Beautiful museum, though a little small, with an amazing and extensive collection. The docents do an amazing job of interacting with and teaching about the glass, and are willing to answer any and all questions presented. The glass making display and classes are also not to be missed!!

I wish I could give 0 stars. This place has treated me terribly!! I called to set up a class for a group of bridesmaids and was never told they will not refund your money even if it’s something beyond my control, only told I could reschedule 24 hours in advance. Something beyond my control had changed and I’ve been calling for 2 weeks (2-3 calls a week) to get my money back and they refuse saying it’s their policy to not refund only reschedule. I am out $180 because of this. The receptionist(s) (I’ve spoken to 2 I believe) have been so rude and have talked to me like I’m 3 and I’ve yet to hear back from the glass blowing class manager, Teresa, herself! I’ve explained I understand policies but this is something that is beyond my control and has now prevented me from booking something different per the brides request. I will NEVER give my business to this place ever again. Had they been the least bit respectful toward me and follows up with a call back to me this rating and rant may have gone a little differently. I would never recommend this place for anything unless you are willing to lose money!

I had to go here for my Ohio graduation tests and the people are so sweet. After one of my tests I was standing in the lobby with other students waiting for our rides and I was the only one standing and one of the ladies comes out and says the other ladies needed my help with something. And I was fully expecting to move a table or something, I go in, and she is standing there with a fold up chair and asks me to take it out into the lobby and use it until my ride arrived, which I did, and when it arrived I returned my chair. That is my story. But other than that just a amazing place to go, some very cool things there. And was perfect for my tests. She also told us students if we wanted to come for a tour to tell them she sent us and we would get a free tour. Sweetest lady ever!

Aradhana Ji

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Alora Pratt

This place is so amazing. Our tour guide knew what he was talking about and very friendly. You get to see a glass blowing demonstration and, if you're like me, you will love it. That was my favorite part. They have lots of different types of glass and change their displays every 6 months

Great place to visit

Ashley Shaffer

Definitely worth a stroll through, it's small, good way to spend a couple minutes while waiting for something downtown.

Bryant Smith

Beautiful glass, just not my thing.

Andy Lesh

Neat little museum, but I really don't appreciate being forced into a guided tour, only to be told halfway through the tour that we're free to explore the museum on our own after the tour. Let visitors explore how they wish, and consider being open more than three hours at a stretch.

Joy Ken Kellenbarger

Beautiful items are available. Interesting exhibits.

I had purchased some of the small glass pumpkins on a trip to Lancaster last year and wanted another one to add to my collection (I live in Montana). I spoke with Mary Travis, one of the volunteers at the museum. After a phone call explaining what I was looking for, she worked with the glass blower at the museum and a few short days later I received the perfect pumpkin in the mail! The process could not have been easier nor the results more delightful! Thank you so much to Mary and the OGM for helping me out!

Beautiful glass, knowledge staff. Not a huge collection, but very high quality. The displays rotate regularly and the facility itself is wonderfully restored. If you love local glass it is worth a stop, admission around $6 per person.

A very eclectic and informative place to take the family. You can learn a lot about the way glass is made and even make your own decoration out of glass. Plus my mom works there and she's awesome :-)
