We love visiting MAPS museum. I've taken lots of family members for a visit. There is a ton to see and learn. This is something great to do on a rainy day. Learning history can be fun, this would be a great school field trip location.

This is awesome. You need to go and take family. Great place. All types of planes from different times esp wars. Even a mash tent fully equipped and. With helicopters plus upstairs different uniforms from different wars and times. Plus a room of heroes AND you get a guide that knows all and is very nice...Howard was ours. Great place

I love this place cuz it's just the right size and have just the right amount of history and information available whereas the Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio is so huge it takes two days just to walk through it we visit the museum we went to Laurel a Lockheed Martin then went to Goodyear blimp Hangar and got a ride on the Goodyear blimp the best thing on my bucket list kind of list as far as I'm concerned

This world class museum is a short distance from I-77 and a must see for any military buff or WWII historian. Over 42,000 visitors stop annually for the many events like today's Collins Foundation fly-in of military aircraft. They have extensive on going exhibits and special events like the one mentioned above. They restore military aircraft and you can sit inside an actual jet. The maps air museum is a great place to take your children. My son chose to go here for his birthday with two of his friends . The gentleman there were very patient with three boys I took to the museum they took time to talk to them about the items on display to tell them about them to tell them about their personal experiences and to explain the importance of the items on display there in history . It was a very educational experience for my son and he enjoyed it so much that we will be returning again and again.

What a treasure! Everyone should visit MAPS Air Museaum! You can physically touch the planes. There are some that they let you sit in and walk onto as well. Love MAPS!

We took 4 kids under 12 to the pancake break and to check out the cars and planes. There was a Vettes (Corvettes) and jets theme. The kids LOVED IT! The people working the event were super helpful and kind. There was also a gentleman at one of the exhibits who took the time to explain to the kids the process of parachuting out of the jump plane. So many great things to see and good people to see them with! I would recommend this to anyone, young or old. Thanks to all who made this event possible, well organized and smoothly ran.

Went here for the first time and it is an amazing place. It is not as big as Dayton but the planes are amazing and they occasionally let you touch them and the tour guides know their stuff. This place is an absolute hidden gem!

Love the old planes, my son and I enjoyed climbing in the cockpit of quite a few. Great experience putting your hands on some of these mechanical marvels and the history behind them. Fantastic facility with polite, hardworking and KNOWLEDGEABLE staff! Couldn't believe just how much they new about each piece of equipment. Made for a great afternoon with my son and father.

The MAPS museum was a wonderful experience, plus if you go early enough they have tables set up to serve you pancakes and sausage (which was great). There are all kinds of great planes even a few military trucks to see. Apologies for the fifth blurry picture.

Great place. Nice selection of artifacts. Free tour guides are very knowledgeable, especially the ones who are vets. One was a medic in Vietnam. Added a lot of personal experience to the MASH tent. Admission is cheap, $10. Nice gift shop too.

The MAPS air museum as an impressive display of historical military and civilian aircraft. They have an extensive gallery that includes stories and models from past wars. It was a top-notch experience, and my tour guide was very knowledgable. I definitely recommend coming here.

I MC the Green Area Chamber of Commerce's annual Casino Night fundraiser and this is a fantastic venue for such an event. Rubber City Radio Group also hosts its Hunting, Fishing, and Outdoors Show here in late March each year and the venue works great for that too. The staff is friendly and there is a tremendous amount of military and aviation history from wall to wall. It's a real gem of the Akron area and one that more people should explore.

We switched from American family to grange and never looked back. I don't remember how much cheaper but it was in the hundreds. Lol this review has been on here for a while. don't know how this happened. Doesn't do MAPS justice went there for a motorcycle show only about 5 motorcycles. The planes though were great show inside and great show outside too. Would definitely recommend

The MAPS Air Museum has a diverse collection of aircraft and related artifacts spanning the two World Wars and the Cold War. Several of them have been restored while others appear to be awaiting restoration. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and friendly. One can really see the passion they put into the museum. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and have an interest in aviation.

Awesome place, have never been to a place where you could touch every aircraft. The best part was being able to climb into a few of the aircrafts. The staff was very friendly and kind. I would say it's a must stop destination if your driving by with your family. The only down side is that most of the aircrafts are outside. So you have to worry about the sun and heat.

This is one great aviation museum. The tour guides are great, the Vietnam era M.A.S.H. unit has every detail, the planes are superb, both indoors and outside. Even the library is spectacular. But the Gallery of Heroes was my favorite. You can spend hours here and it's all very accessible to all.

Fantastic air museum with well detailed signage up describing each display. It is very obvious every part of this museum is well cared for, with the staff on hand both willing and eager to answer questions or guide tours. Several displays are hands-on, and there are even a few cockpits open for guests to sit inside.

A great volunteer run museum. They have some incredible aircraft exhibits though it appears both due to manpower shortages and money shortages not all of them are taken care of super well. The museum's for fallen Ohio service members and medal of Honor recipients are well taken care of and informative!
