Currently this business has a rating of 4.6 stars over 5 and this rating is based on 1770 reviews.
As you can see it reaches an reviews average is virtually the best, and it is founded on a high number of scores, so we can conclude that the score is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to give their feddback when they are happy, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Museum corresponds to the category of Science museum.
We have kids and this place is amazing to go anytime. Never boring and always with the annual membership. Over the years they have only improved the facility, greatly impressed. We've visited several of these science facilitates, but they always resign supreme. Great work and keep up the good job teaching and making it fun!
Good place to take kids, there's a lot to learn.
I remember visiting this place when I was a kid in school during field trips and loving it. Now , years later, I'm able to share it with my family! The facility is fantastic, the exhibits are super informative, and my family loved it. The only thing that was disappointing was the cafeteria. They closed the grill about an hour before the science center closed and the options that were left available were about gas station quality. Overall a great way to spend a day.
We had a great time with our 5th grade class. Lots to do that entertained both the adults and kids.
Came to Toledo specifically for the Imagination Station. It was worth the drive from Detroit. Definitely will be back!
Always a great time lots to do
Kids definitely love it here
Fun for literally the whole family. From Toddler to Grandparents.
Fun place for the kids. Hard to find parking close by though.
Very fun filled and great learning environment for the whole family. Especially nice to have designated areas for the younger crowd. Lots of activities and room to explore. We had a great experience. Spent a solid two hours there and if the kids weren't tired we could have spent even more time.
Good time with family and friends
The Imagination Station in Toledo, Ohio is a very nice place to go. It is perfect for school aged children from toddlers all the way to high school. There are lots of activities for the children and adults to interact with. The attractions and displays are kept in good working order which is important in a place like this. The staff was engaged and warm. They could have used a few more greeters at the entryway but in general it was okay. We went with a school group and Imagination Station provided instructions, parking information and other materials prior to arrival to help make the school event go along well. There is one play area set aside for very young children and that was a nice touch. They have ongoing crafting and experiment activities taking place. The work area is clean and the activities are fun and interesting. The instructors/leaders/teachers in this area are skilled and interested. They could probably use a little more help with keeping some of the play spaces cleared up but it wasn't really a problem. So much fun and what a lot to learn!
I remember going here as a kid and now work here as an adult. The place is fun to go to and even has a few changing rooms and features that make it a great place to revisit or even get a membership for. It makes learning about science fun and it gets kids and adults alike to explore Toledo and all the cool places that they can visit to learn and stay educated.
Its fun. Some times it gets so busy you can't do anything tho. Never eat at the cafeteria. One slice of pizza is $4 and thats the trend there!
Such a fun science center. They're expanding too so I can't wait to see what it's be like when that project is done
Great price, my children had a blast, I felt like a kid again... Only complaint is cafeteria was not really clean and food prices was not worth it. Staff was great and friendly.. Definitely will be going back
So much fun for all ages!
My family had a nice quiet Sunday walking by the water and looking at the architecture downtown in prominade park. The solar panels are pretty cool as well!
Kids always love going here. They keep their displays in good working order and the staff is friendly. They do a good job keeping the temporary exhibits fresh and new.
I love Imagination Station. It's a great place to take my grandchildren
Still pretty cool, not as cool as was when it was new and called Cosi. I was amazed they charged admission given how much they hit us for a tax increase... expensive!! Cool stuff, but not worth the price...at all.
So much hands on interactive things for kids and adults to do. Isnt boring at all.
Awesome place for kids. Demonstrations and shows are great. Very hands on and interactive
Had a great time when I went with my daughters school
Great hands on family center, it has activities for all ages! Inexpensive and you can spend hours there!
Awesome family time, something different Everytime we visit
absolutely love taking my toddler to the imagination station. They have so many different exhibits that it's fun for all ages! they have a wonderful cafeteria area that you can either purchase food from their cafe or bring in a bag lunch from home! And their staff is always helpful!
Always a great place to go with my children.
It is fun place to take your children for them to learn about science
Imagination Station is perfect for kids of all ages, adults too! There's always something new to learn, shows, different exhibits, and a very nice, closed off area for younger children. Buying a membership is well worth it if you make good use of it!
We loved it! We didn't quite make it through everything. That gravity room. Whoa. I mean whoa. The science show they put on was absolutely amazing!
I remember going to this place as a kid, and when I was in 3rd grade. It was very educational and fun! Especially that tilt house.
Fantasic place to take your kids for a fun energy spending time....would highly recommend packing a lunch and using the benches to the side by the water to have a nice picnic...worked great for our family.
It lived up to the reviews. Well worth the visit, and fun for everyone in the family. They have a kindergartner area that is extensive. A ton of all ages activities. And the bike, and body yoyo are 52" and up. We spent a couple hours and need to come back to see the rest.
Our 5 year old granddaughter loved this place. We bought a membership for all our grandchildren before we left.
We really enjoyed this museum. It has so many fun interactive play areas it will entertain you and your children for several hours. Tons of fun activities and is great for children ages 2 to 11. It has several science related activities for teenagers as well.
Fun for the whole family! Gets us all thinking. They were doing an egg drop challenge while we were there, and it was really neat watching the kids challenge themselves.
They took out some of the cool things I really enjoyed as a child but they do have some nice things still. Seems a lot smaller... Less stuff there. I remember a lot more shows and stuff going on. Overall we will go back for sure! Just getting used to the changes
They really need a better ventilation, it was very warm & stuffy. Other than that it is a nice place to visit.
Is great for the kids
Great variety of aged activities. Something for all ages. So much to do and nice to have food onsite for lunch.
We had a great time got to experiment with a lot of different things I got a chance to stay most of the day
I was in Toledo for a getaway with my girlfriend and we weren't ready to go home yet, so we stopped by here for an hour or two. I've never seen her act like this, a kid, before. We had a great time.
We had 4 kids and 3 adults different age groups from 5 to 16. We all had a blast reasonable pricing and something for everyone. There was so much to do, we could have stayed another hour. We were there for 3+hrs. The staff was so kind. It was a great time!
Fun for the whole family. The kids love the hands on exhibits. This place can be an all day event. There is a lot to see and play with. If you are a member, you can get free parking at some of the parking structures nearby.
Great for the whole family. We spent a good 5/6 hours there. There is a great view from upstairs and the Gravity House was a hit with my kids. We will definitely be back when our middle kid grows about an inch taller, she's a little short for the tightrope bike.
Great place for kids to take their grandparents to learn cool stiff:)
Imagination station is a blast. It’s like Cosi but in Toledo. The kids had so much fun and so did I!! Kids can really bring out the kid in you. They have so many activities for all ages! It was like $12 dollars for adults, they also have discounts for veterans, babies, senior citizen.
Would recommend for children and adults amazing service and easy directions
It's good, but the fun activities limits the kids that are a bit shorter. And there is a 3D section but you have to pay extra to see it. Over priced food with not alot of verity. Not that impressed
Such a fun and educational place. Lots of activities, ones that adults enjoy as well.
Amazing place for the Kids
Lots to do and see. 5 and 7 year old had a blast
Great place for the whole family.
I like it a lot! I don't get to go often because the parking downtown sucks badly! I like watching the kids do an activity and watch their eyes light up when they learn something they didn't know. The live demonstrations are so awesome, I think I like them better than the kids do. They need their own parking area just for the Imagination Station!
My 4 year old granddaughter, my daughter and I went to a 'build your own gingerbread house' clinic. They had a great time. When we were done they explored a few things on the way out. Looks like we'll need to come back and enjoy the rest of the facility. Fun!!
What a wonderful place to bring the family, activities for all ages.
Awesome hand on experience for children..from 2 on up..even entertaining for us adults..
Always a fun place to go with it one year old daughter. She had so much fun playing in the toddler area and seems enthralled by all the different attractions and hands-on experiments. As she gets older, there will be more she can do and learn. Highly recommend for a fun trip with the kids or even by yourself.
Sooo much fun. So many things to do and see..the kids kept running and running and when i said time was up they didnt want to leave. So its a must go again place
The always have a great time there. They are disappointed the walk bridge across Summit to the facility has been tore down.
Great place to explore with the family. Worth the membership costs. Had a wonderful time.
Our family had so much fun at Imagination Station! There are many exhibits and activities for kids of all ages. The little kids loved the play area, and the bigger kids really enjoyed the science exhibits. Highly recommended!
Awesome for kids and adults alike! The Popnology exhibit was AWESOME! Park at the Bacon Sculpture parking garage.
So much fun! Great for people of all ages to rediscover their love of science.
My wife brought our daughters here and our youngest was super excited for the toddler area with the hands on tree house and ambulance that she could play with - as others have stated we do wish we lived closer and could experience more regularly. The staff seems to work hard at keeping things fun, clean, and meaningful for children and families. Enjoyed seeing that Trevor was a visitor turned employee who now pays it forward for my daughters and other children.
We brought our two year old son here. And he had a blast. Very crowded, which is a good thing to see. Aside from a few rude patrons, which is no fault of the business, this is everything I expected and remember from when this place was Cosi, if memory serves me correct.
Great memories here as a child! Took my toddler yesterday! Everything was wonderful! Except my experience at the Atomic Cafe. Looking at the menu, deciding what we wanted to eat with the two workers just talking. We get up to the counter to order and they're still talking, finally they ask us what we'd like, only for them to say we can't have it, only things that can be fried. Wishing they would've said that from the beginning, we proceed to order, a few hotdogs and fried food itmes. They fried the hotdogs. Gray on the outside and pink on the inside. I honestly may never eat there again. Extremely disappointed, and dissatisfied.
Nice and adventures place for everybody in the family. Definitely advice get membership
A great little children's museum. Lots of activities for all kinds of ages, very few things didn't work, and quite a few exhibits I've never seen at other museums before as well, namely the one regarding mind tricks. I took my 3 year old and they had plenty of things they could reach and play with, even outside of the toddler area.
Even as an adult spent a long time playing. I like how the exhibits are set up so you can rotate through naturally but the separations also give you the feel of privacy with the group you came with. Good design. The puzzles and games are also pretty clever and led to pretty long stay times (at least for me) and not just button pressing. Particularly liked the domino table and the fitness area. The makerspace is really nice too.
So much fun for our family! All big kids! Ages 22-78
The kids had a blast. There is a lot to do and the place is huge. It was a little overwhelming at times but worth the trip!
Great place for kids to learn and play
What a great place for all!!!we loved the place and will be back
This was a really cool place that has a lot of cool stuff to do. My one problem with it is that most of the stuff appeals to a younger audience. Now, there is still a lot of cool stuff, and everything is presented neatly! One of the highlights is the bike on the rope and the extreme science show is also really really cool! You should check out this place if you have some younger kids.
Was nice but run into a group of punks starting stuff outside
This is a very fun place to bring your kids. Try to make a whole day out of it. Ages 2-12 would probably have the most fun. If you live in town, the membership is worth if you think you might go back.
The staff today was super friendly. We brought a stroller thinking we were going to need it, but we really we didn't because my son wanted to walk, so the people behind the counter allowed us to lay it back there the whole time we were there. Normally I don't like it but I liked it today because it wasn't as busy as normal. I will always call this place Cosi and never what they changed the name to. It will always be at home, but I do miss the virtual volley ball and wish they would bring the sports department back.
Awesome place to get introduced to science
One of the best children's museums I have seen. We actually drive from Columbus to visit it. There is so much to see and do, I always have to drag my 4 year-old and 2 year-old out of there.
Had a great time with the kids - they loved the hands on exhibits! Exceeded our expectations!
This place is terrific, it gets the kids as well as the adults to use their minds to figure things out and how things work, go enjoy the experience
Best Science Center in the tristate area
Grandson really enjoyed everything! It was fun watching him and participating I felt that many areas were messy and should have been kept up better.
Only suggestion I'd make is that whoever is running the pyro-science show needs to give a warning before hand that they'll be explosions and loud noises, for the sake of children with sensory overload sensitivity. When I was there I saw plenty of parents that had to take their children away frightened, scared or crying. My child asked to leave frightened after the second explosion. So we couldn't enjoy the rest of the show. Besides that, the place is awesome.
Great place for the young one's. My grandkids love it here. They range from 4yrs to 13yrs old. There favorites are the simulator movie, the slanted house, the ball wall at the entrance ( we spend a lot of time watching balls roll), the Kid Center for the younger kids. We spend anywhere from 2-4hrs here. We pack a snack and water and eat in the cafeteria.
Such an awesome place for kids to learn STEM focused material in a fun way. They do an excellent job of making sure to mix exhibits up and have new things. I highly recommend becoming a member if you are local.
The best part was the gravity room! Of course, I couldn't do it. I have plenty of video of the kids having sooo much fun! I would go back again. Thank you Mrs. Burton, first grade teacher at Global Tech Academy in Willow Run! Mrs. Tolbert is the Principal and she rocks! A great school for your children in Ypsilanti, MI!
Great place! Fun for all ages we will definitely be back!!
Super fun place but it was school field trip day and kids were unsupervised and popular attractions did not have employees at them to insure rules were followed which made it impossible to enjoy some things
Great place to take the kids. There is so much for them to do and see. Definitely worth the money.
Great for a whole day or half day fun! We stopped on a road trip home and were glad for all the fun and the 5 and under room !
Unique and kid friendly. Lots to do to enhance the imagination and fun. Staff is great, too. Parking is not free. There's food and snacks as well to purchase.
If you don't pay $300 for a room for a hour in cafeteria don't try to bring a cake they will treat you dirt!!!. I paid for 4 adults to get in & had 4 kids. I called ahead of time and was told I could bring my Daughter's Birthday cake to cafeteria, once we got there we were told to leave immediately & sent to a empty basement area secluded from everybody because the manager in the cafeteria said that those tables were only for paying customers but I was a customer I paid to get in plus 4 others!
Great experience, sim theater was a big hit. Glad we got the membership
My son and nephews love this place. The kid some is their favorite. The gravity house, they can spend hours in there.
Drove an hour to Toledo to go to the Art Museum but they were about to close since I drove wanted to see something in Toledo so ended up coming to Imagination Station. Not really a place for Adults but kids seem to have fun. It's in an area where you'll have to pay to park and it's seems like a congested area luckily it was a holiday so free parking the day I went. Overall it's an Ok place.
We had so much fun!
I'm 27, and have no kids of my own. But as a preschool teacher I love going to things like this. How can I make Science fun for kids?? It was amazing.
A very educational and fun place for both kids and adults. Lots to do and experiment with in a truly hands-on environment that is always changing and kept up to date. It includes a gift shop and soon to have a theater for scientific presentations. Easy access and parking available across the street.
You won't regret getting a membeship here.
I absolutely LOVE that Imagination Station is a part of Toledo. When my daughter was six, she told her great grandmother that she had enough toys, for her birthday and Xmas she wanted a membership to Imagination Station. We are now going in our second year being members and couldn't be happier. Science is amazing and she feels very important when there is a "members only" party haha!
Certain things didn’t work the same, or were scratched or just not kept in the best shape. However, i still had a great time and there’s so much to do. It’s a lot of fun to be there and so many little activities. Great place for all ages honestly.
Renew my membership every year. We get here every 2-3 weeks and always a new activity to enjoy. My children love it!
Awesome little science museum. Any age would have fun here. Parking offsite, but there are a few garages that are close. They do have a cafeteria. Most of the food is overpriced and the workers are super slow. They have some pre made sandwiches, uncrustables, cheese sticks, and other grab and go options that aren't that bad. I recommend doing a grab n go lunch or packing.
OHVA open house awesome!!!
If you haven't taken your kids you need to, there's something for everyone
This place is the best for a family day out in Toledo. Educational, friendly, fun learning atmosphere. Something for every age to enjoy. Definitely a favorite spot for my family. Buy a membership! Its well worth the price.
Kids loved it, best place for some family fun. Only thing I think could improve is the food. But, the whole pizza deal is worth purchasing.
Really fun took my little cousin.
Cool place! Had fun with the kids. Only downfall was the kids food information room smelled like vomit. Guess that's why they had so many Glade plug ins.
So many things to do the love it. We love it because they are having fun and learning at the same time.
This place is fantastic for big kids or little kids. There is so much to do and explore! Even big kids feel like little ones when they're there :-)
A lot of the exhibits are down or broken & 100% of the kids don't listen. If you can avoid at all costs. Only serves alcohol in the summer on patio, still not enough to get me to go back.
Great family fun time
A lot of fun. My kids love it, we go multiple times a year.
This is a great place for kids to go on a rainy day or a day that they just dont want to sit still. I personally love love love the toddler section. My 2 year old loves playing in it. Not only do your kids get to play and lose some energy but they also get to learn a lot along the way. Theres even a good sized cafeteria to stop and grab some grub!!
We visit every time we come to Toledo, my son loves it. Great way to spend a few hours, plenty to do.
Me and my kids loved this place. Very educating and entertaining at the same time.
A lot of interactive fun for my granddaughter. Not too busy that day. Staff was very helpful.
A local staple in the community, parking for members is validated. Clean facility with many things to entertain and educate young kids. Hopefully it sticks around for many more generations
So many great activities for kids and adults to share alike! Lots to do and so worth getting a membership! Even some things for newer babies in the toddler play area!
We stopped by, as it was connected to the hotel we stayed in, and were so pleasantly surprised! We had a blast with a 9-month-old and 11-year-old. We stayed 2 hours and didn't even get to see everything!
A lot of interesting things here for learning and just resting the mind.
I've been there before and from what I could recall, it was decent for the kids. So my wife and I bought a season pass to take the kids in the summer and on days we weren't otherwise busy. This trip was an absolute NIGHTMARE though. We took our almost 4 year old to imagination station and were overrun by masses of obnoxious students who were on field trips from various schools. The entire trip was a nightmare and our child found himself being overrun by older (est. 8-12 year olds) kids who even made their way into the kindergarten or below age group section. The entire visit has my wife and I wondering if we made a grave and costly mistake, purchasing a year pass of $120. Plus, be aware parking is not exactly close if it's bad weather. So bring an umbrella or be prepared to drop off the family and be the one who ends up soaked, running to and from the car. I imagine it would have been better if there weren't demonic hordes of badly behaved children though. Take it for what it's worth.
Fabulous place for kids of all ages. Great for families with kids older and younger
Great Place!! Grandson always enjoys our visits there!!
Great time for kids of all ages. If you go during the school year and if not with the school it be best to go there after 1. All the school kids will be gone. It will not be as loud and you will have a chance to do everything.
The staff is very friendly. Everything about the imagination was great. The food at the Atomic Cafe is hot and fresh. There were no long lines anywhere. The simulation ride was awesome. Everything was clean and well maintained. It was a great experience. We will definitely b e returning in the very near future.
So much fun. So many things to do. Next time we will plan a whole day to spend here instead of only a few hours.
What a great place to bring kids completely pooped out our 2 year old. We have gone to other similar facilities and this by far is the best we have gone to the most interactive exhibits and the largest little kids area. Staff were very friendly amd helpful and reached out to engage with out toddler.
Imagination station was the best. You can learn about so many things and experiment with different objects. It is so cool.
My kids love it and it brings me back to bring a kid. Love the simulator but it's been maybe 15 years since I've rode it last and now it costs extra which is a con, but still fun so that's a pro.
We had a great time with the kids. It got a little chaotic but it is a place for children to be children and explore. Loved the experience and memories we had.
The kids love it there. My 7th graders enjoy it and my 21 month old had a blast also!!
Dont go when its sick season. They dont clean anything all day while the kids play. Germs just spread. One parents child tried to bite my kid.
Large museum with many varying activities for a wide range of ages. The young kids and the older kids all love it here. Wish they were open a bit longer.
Great kids musseum
Love this place. Great place to take the kids. Educational and entertaining. Just don't accidentally leave your purse in the stroller you parked in the 'stroller parking zone.'
Great place to bring the kids
All activities, shows, & demos always on! Whether it's slow or busy, weekday or weekend. We were there mid-week & had a private show & demonstration about sound, since it was a slower time of day. Incredible!
My family and I LOVE Toledos Imagination Station. They always have the normal neat science stuff they have had since it was cosi, but monthly they do new themes to learn about new things and get hands on with learning for your kids.
Not inclusive.. they are having a “girls only” stem event. That’s sad, boys need to be equally as encouraged that way even boys interested can have strong women around them to look up to. I don’t see you having any “boys only” events so why be so uninclusive to begin with? People have more than one child, often each gender. I just think this is setting a bad example and is a horrible move on your part. Won’t be back to a place who doesn’t include boys/men too. I see it happening all over, more kids shows showing that girls can be doctors which is great and all but there are 0 that show boys can do it too. We are going to fall apart as a society unless it’s made equal.
Good place to visit with of town people, especially when it's raining! Things of interest for everyone.
Used to go here when I was in elementary school. More fun when I was little.
A wonderful science playground for all ages to learn through play. Always a new exhibition and frequent demonstrations. Play area for toddlers also. Food Court. Restrooms. Parking garage across the street with an enclosed bridge across.
Kids loved it! Very interactive and educational for all ages.
The Imagination Station is an absolute joy to visit. They have tons of hands on experiences and some extremely fun activities for kids of all ages. The exhibits are on dozens of topics. The staff is friendly and the prices are fair. If you are in town with kids, you really need to stop and visit.
Really fun with lots to do. Parking was rough. Not sure about the neighborhood as there were tags in the parking structure.walking through the completely empty underground concourse was a bit off putting too. Once we got in though everything was great. The kids big and small had fun and there was non stop action. As a big kid, I had fun as much as everyone else. The science demonstrations were great to see. Lunch was alright and the prices were fairly reasonable.
lots of fun for kids and adults
Cool place with great activities for kids. Excited to see what new stuff they're building!
This place is amazing. Have at least 5 hours in hand before you plan to go. Lot of things to learn for both kids and adults. Very convenient and close by street parking with 2pm to 5 PM free.
Great place to take kids to learn about science. Plenty of things there to try/learn.
Family oriented. "Intelligent play". Friendly staff. Hands on activities for all ages. Pack your own lunch or purchase food there. Well worth the admission price. Sime area parking garages will validate your ticket. Check website for details and participating lots. Family or grandparent membership a good option for repeat visits. Numerous activities enough for more than one day. A must see if visiting Toledo.
Racist comments from workers and terrible customer service, will NEVER go back. *I went with a Day Camp*
A very educational and fun place for both kids and adults. Lots to do and experiment with in a truly hands-on environment that is always changing and kept up to date. It includes a gift shop and soon to have a theater for scientific presentations. Easy access and parking available across the street. We love taking our young children to different science centers, zoos, and museums around the country. So Toledo's Imagination Station was one we had not visited yet.
The imagination station is a MUST DO if you are in town for more than a few hrs. It's a great experience in learning that is fun for all ages, guaranteed to make some memories.
