Visited in July. The history is interesting and enlightening. Rest area was filthy with litter, garbage and not mowed. Grant Bridge covered in vines and weeds as seen in trip advisor photos. House and grounds needed maintenance. Shame on Ohio.

Knowledgeable staff member able to answer questions and clearly passionate about history. Original and period pieces in the home. Be aware, no decent bathroom nearby. The one across the street is not maintained by this site and is downright scary.

A hidden gem that is a short drive from Cincinnati. Makes for an informative stop on a pleasant drive/day trip. Gives perspective on our current way of life & insight to the sacrifices our forefathers endured.

RA Wang

Used restroom quickly and was back on my way quickly. There is no running water and folks in parking lot were church mouse quiet the moment I exited car until I returned. So my entire duration of using restroom I wondered will I live today? So I give 3 stars as it's no better or worse than an interstate rest stop as this place has potential to be a quaint and quick stop...

The grass is mowed but the area is run down. Restroom at small park ran by ODOT is awful. Lots of knats and probably only cleaned every 5 years. Trash everywhere. Needs an overhaul and someone who cares about the place.
