The children had a great time. The adults smiles were everywhere! We felt very safe and enriched at the end of the day! Thank you for this opportunity to share time with my grandchildren.
Love everything about this place.my son had so much fun here.he could experience everything with out being told no dont touch. It was so free for him
Grandkids enjoyed themselves!!!
Nice place for small children 5yrs and under
Went for a family member's birthday. My son had a GREAT time! He's 3 and didn't want to leave!!! So many cool activities for the kiddos! And worth the drive to Lancaster from Columbus!
Wonderful place for all little kids. Had so much fun with my grandson. He could have stayed all day!
It really is a nice place to bring the kids to play and learn.
Great play place for kids with lots of options for pretend play. Not as big as I was expecting. But I'm really excited for the outdoor play area they're working on right now. With that, I'd give it 5 stars.
Clean and great for kuxs
A great place for indoor fun. Some of the props could use replacing, and the water table needs some refreshing. The open concept is fun, but doesn't easily allow children to "attend" to a specific task, which is something vital to early childhood development. Age range is 2-6... Our 7 year old had fun, but was not challenged.
Hands on fun indoors and (soon) outdoors for 6 months to 6 years!
My son absolutely adored the fire trucks. There was so much for him to do. I will definitely be taking him back!!
Incredible! My 3 year old had so much fun that she was sad to leave after spending a whole afternoon there. I just wish adults weren't charged to go in with your child. Also, a location in columbus would be amazing!!!
Fantastic play place for ALL kids! Wish it was closer! Every town needs one!!
Needs some shade in outdoor area.
My son loves this place! It’s perfect for cold weather when you and your little ones need to get out of the house!! Lots of space to run and play. So many different activities! Hours and hours of fun!!
Not as interactive as I was expecting but the kids loved it! Theres one or two things there that actually let the kids be their own guide to what they learn.
Would be 5 stars but a little pricey when adults have to pay to get in.
We took the kids for the second time today, and they just have a blast. I'm so glad they are working on building out to their new location; they deserve it. Mom and dad can chill or can interact with the kids. It is located in an unassuming building downtown, with just enough parking and the space is good. It is filled with so many hands on activities (water and fishing, construction, veterinarian, theatre, art) for them that they honestly cannot be bored. The price is great for all that you can do here, and I think it has something for every kids interest. I think they could use a section for business..but at least the grocery section has a cash register. I wish they had one of these in Columbus!
While in the area for work my husband and I decided to take my 10 year old little sister and our 1 year old little boy here to play. I found this place online and it stated it had activities for both ages of the kids we were taking. We got there and my 10 year old sister had nothing her age to actually do. This place is more or less for smaller children. We also had to pay for each of us to get in! It wasn't expensive. But it wasn't what we thought it to be per their advertising from their website.
Friendly staff and very nice place.
Pros: The outside area is really nice and has some great activities. The staff were all friendly. The enterior and exterior are were clean and very pretty. Cons: Cost, hours of operation and activities and areas close early. A major problem is they close early and ontop of that they shut down and start cleaning up an hour before they close. Why would they do this? If the place is open have it open and schedule workers for an hour after the doors close so that patrons paying the somewhat high price can get their money's worth. We went thinking we had 2 hours until close, but almost all areas were closed within 1 hour of our being there. Open areas were also oddly patrolled as though we were supposed to not be there, people were putting away items while our kids were still even using them within an attraction.
Visiting from California and we came across this gem. It's a really great facility with plenty of stuff to do for the young kids.
I was impressed by this place. It didn't look like much from the outside.
This is a great place for children especially on cold or rainy days. It has hours of fun activities including a water table and crafts.
The place is great for children to enter act with others and use their imagination.
That was a lot of fun. Tons of stuff to do inside and out for the kids. The staff was also really friendly. If you have young children in your life and near Lancaster its definitely a most do.
Great for kids! Parents could watch their kids a bit better so everyone can have fun but the place itself is great for kids kindergarten, maybe 1st grade and younger, even below 1 can have fun at the water and dinosaur tables
I took my 5-year-old daughter here and she loved it. It was crowded for a Saturday, but the space is spread out enough so that it doesn't feel too cramped. There's lots of things for imaginative play...dress up area, veterinarian area, art area, water table, etc. I found a Groupon deal, so it was $7 for both of us...regular price is $6/person (including adults). We'll be visiting again soon!
My kids love love love aha!
Great place to take young children!
Took my 3 year old grandson here and he absolutely loved it. He especially liked the "water area". He now asks to go to the "play place" and I know exactly what he is talking about. We will definitely be back.
Great little place for preschoolers to play and learn
Awesome but very crowded since no school
First time there, was great for our 18 month Grandson. Purchased a membership. I think he would have stayed all day if we let him.
Friendly staff and tons of fun for little ones. It is kept pretty clean too. This place is wonderful!
Awesome place for kids of any age! Loved the new naturescape outside.
It was great grandkids had a great time and so did I. Suggested it to some other people who said they would definitely be checking it out. And I can't wait to go back and see what they finish in the future.
Love the new location and outside play area
AHA is a great place to take your kids for the day. So many great adventures to be made.
Perfect place for kids, especially in the wintertime. Creative, imaginative, and lots of fun.
So much fun with small kids! There are plenty of activities to do -- we usually stay around 1.5 - 2 hours and our kids are busy the whole time.
Great place to take small children.
We went on a rainy day and couldn’t play outside in the nature area. It looked really cool though. They had lots of toys and play centers with different themes for kids to play. Fun area to let kids imagination run wild and be creative with play.
My child absolutely loved it! Shes almost 2 and started crying when it was time to leave. There are lots of interactive areas for children to learn and use their imagination.
Nice safe place to take younger kids. Wish I didn't have to pay just to watch them play.
A great place to go for a day out with a toddler
Such a great place for kids to play!
I love bringing my children here! We've been a member for going on 2 years. There's stuff for children of all ages! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend checking it out!
This is one amazing, wonderful, interactive place for little ones to learn in a creative and safe environment! Lancaster and Fairfield County is so lucky to have this current location and the new facility currently under construction by River Valley Mall will be bigger, will include a fantastic outdoor hands-on educational area and will be even more amazing! As I am now a grandma, I am so grateful so many minds came together to create this learning center! Congrats to all and thank you for your vision, donations and dedication.
My boys love it here deff recommend this place the staff is awesome also
We went there as we really didn't have anything else to do... My 3 yr old really enjoyed this place... But just for this reason 4 stars
I love AHA. We spend at least an hour here but my kids could easily spend 2-3 hours if I let them. It is always clean and they are always adding and upgrading the exhibits. It is a bit expensive for a single visit, but the family membership is very reasonable. Best for younger kids, maybe under 10 or so.
Little kids love it!
Miss the old COSI? This is working on becoming it. Inexpensive ($8 a person) for unlimited play.
Great Place to bring the kids. Just keep in mind parents have to pay to get in too but all around fun activities for kids.
This place is so great for small children. Every city needs a place like this. Employees are friendly. Place is very clean. The kids all really enjoy it. Very affordable too.
My nephew enjoyed it.
i pass it all the time going to other places...have yet to ever visit inside and probly never will
Such a cute little place for you and your little ones to eat and enjoy playtime. And bring out the younger version of yourself as well
Nice place. Kids loved it. They had fun. A little small but good for toddlers. Only thing is after one one visit to each section you probably will be ready to go. I'd say this is a place that could last you about an hour to two hours of fun.
So glad this place is nearby. Lots of different activities for kids. Looking forward to seeing it in its new, larger space this fall. My only critique is that I wish it was open a little later. No time to go after an afternoon nap.
The kids really enjoyed this. There were a lot of activity centers that allowed active use of their imaginations
My kids absolutely loved this place!
Granddaughter had lots of Fun
Great place to take the kids to run off extra energy no matter the weather. The new outdoor area is great. Plenty of things for kids of all ages to "experiment" with. AHA is a place of learning using play.
Wonderful play center for children. Preschool, Kindergarten, grades 1 plus. Parents join the center and must accompany children.
I met my daughter and granddaughter at AHA. It was very atmosphere for kids and had many things for them to explore and get hands on experiences. Everything was clean and there were enough employees there to help or answer questions. It was a huge hit to my granddaughter. Well worth the time and money.
Grandson liked it. It was like walking into a daycare room.
My grandson had a great time, staff was super helpful
My husband and I brought my 7 year old niece there this morning and paid $32 for nothing. This is NOT a museum nor for 7 year olds!! Interactive toddler playground is a better name. When we told the gentleman at the front, after a maximum of 5 min in there, that there wasn't nothing for our niece to do it was for younger people. He didn't offer ONE PENNY back to us. He said ok and turned away from us DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
With the addition of the outdoor installations it's a home run for a local place to take the kids and wear them out.
Very nice place for kids to have fun. Lots of learning and fun. My daughter loves it here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a day full of fun for the kids.
AHA! is a great place to bring your children between the ages of 6 months to 8 years old (older children are welcome too)! $6 per person. Children under 6 months are free. Everyone pays because everyone plays. Come in and enjoy this hands on adventure with your child! Sunday hours are for November through March. Closed on Sundays April through October.
Truly awesome for the kids. Easy to keep eye on multiples. Only one thing need better ventilation it was very stuffy and hot in one of the rooms. Can compare to kids Cosi!
The kids love it
This place is really fun.it's a nice place to go and you can't beat the price.
This museum is so much fun! We were so impressed! The water table, the dress up and stage were some of the favorites! During the summertime lunch program, admission for kids is free and adults get in for just $3! We spend all day here. A must-go!
Great place for kids !
My kids really like it here. It's kept clean, which is impressive considering the volume of small children the place sees. Little things that make it nicer are kept up from what I have seen - the face paint never runs out, there's a bin for mouthed toys, a baby crawling area, new craft stuff fairly often, and someone walking around cleaning pretty much the whole time. Bathrooms smell some but are clean. I could just have horrible timing by going in after someone stinks it up though.
Oh how the grandkids loved this place! So much to do. The only thing was..we took them on Christmas break. If you have little ones. Take them when school is in session, because people just let their kids run around like crazy! It's hard to keep track of your little one's. Bring someone to help!.
Loved it. The employees were very nice and everything seemed very clean. My niece and I will be returning many more times
This was my first time here with my 11 month old. I may be a little biased because I am a Cosi regular. Positives are it’s very very clean. Everything smelled like it is constantly sanitized. It has great variety of play zones. The sensory table is a nice touch. If you have been to Cosi this is like the Little Kids space there but a much smaller scale. There are no lockers just a coat rack/cubby area. No cafe but there is a lunch room. Nice restrooms. No nursing room but there is notice that says you are free to nurse wherever you like. My girl doesn’t walk yet and the floor is concrete so I wish they had some little push walkers. The plop zone is good for her but she did get bored in there after awhile. Since this is basically just a children’s zone I wish they would change the admission. I feel parents should either be free or reduced and maybe they could increase the price per kid.
Waste of time and money. Thought it would be fun to bring my toddler here but items were broken and areas shut down when we got there. Only wanted to spend an hour, got there at 3 thinking we’d play until close (which yes in hindsight we should have gone sooner). However staff spent the last hour making guests feel awkward as they cleaned around them so all kids were out by 315-330. Very annoyed that I spent money to have my child play there just to feel that I had to leave before we were ready. Nice idea but will never go again.
It is a really nice, clean place to go with kids. We took our 11 month old. Like many others said, the price seemed steep, especially for adults. It seems a little crazy to pay $16 for 2 parents to watch their kid play, especially when they have to be there to supervise their child.
This place is amazing!!! My daughter that has sensory issues and other disorders was right at home! She also has ADHD. My youngest is 2 and she also had a blast. We even thought it was an awesome place! There was a water area that was so cool. Sand toys. The ball area is great. A big stage with working microphones. Pretend play areas. Foam blocks to build with. Sand put tables. Seriously the list goes on and on! The price was great to get in and they give food stamp benefit clients a discount. There was a sign at the door stating that.b
Love it here my kids love it they get to have fun and also learn. Only giving 4 stars due to the hours they are open which suck. Working first shift i barely get to take my kids i wish they had evening hours.
I love this place it’s amazing place for kids of young age to go even there’s a space for six months old and younger. There’s a lot to do there and it’s not expensive it’s affordable and even the yearly membership is affordable and they are moving to a bigger place down by the mall here soon that will have an outdoor activity area and much more!
A lot of fun for young kids. My 2 year old granddaughter had a blast. I do believe it is a bit expensive for how small it is though especially since the parents have to pay also!
The new location my kids had a blast it was great inside fun.
My family loves this place! I do not mind paying $5.00 per person (adults pay too) because it is a non profit organization. If you go often the membership is actually cheaper. If I even say the name AHA my kids go crazy!
Love this place!!! It was my first visit and I took my 17 month old and my 6 year old. They both had a blast. There’s so many different things to do. The outside part was really nice but we were there on a smoking hot day so we couldn’t stay out there long! Every thing was amazingly clean and it really caters to all ages. We will be back for sure!!!
Lots of fun! 100% interactive play for your child. Our grandchildren have enjoyed it for two years now. Ages 6months and up. Parents can plan visits arount the Museum's of events so nothing is missed. The new location will open in April and we are looking forward to it! Check it out... you won't be disappointed.
My wife and I took 2 of our grand children to this place. First of all it is NOT a museum. It's a glorified play area. The kids seem to enjoy it but the cost is NOT worth it. I asked for a senior discount....Oh "only on Wednesdays" - I found nothing on their website stating that. One day a week...? Come on AHA! My wife and I are both teachers and asked for that discount.... "only on the 2nd Tuesday" (or something like that).... seriously? Save your money...go see Blooms and Butterflies at the Franklin Park Conservatory and support a quality place. This is really a lot of money for very very little.
Great place for the little ones to get out some energy
Great place to take the kids, fun learning environment with creative play.
Love how they made every little station something different. I absolutely recommend to take kids there so they can play and explore every station they have there.
A little pricey unless you get the member pass. They keep it clean though, and the kids seem to really like it.
Lots of activities for little ones, ages 1 - 8 in our party and they all loved it
It was ok..I have a 1 year old and not much there for her to do. The water table water was really cold and the area for babies has this ring that was pretty dangerous inside of it. If she were to stand up and fall on her butt she would actually end up falling twice. Luckily it was only $3 to get in otherwise I'd want a refund. If she were 2+ it would have been more fun.
Great place for lil ones to learn and burn off energy. It's probably due to getting ready to move to their new location but some of the equipment is in need of light repair.
We had a great time as a family visiting this place. It was better than we expected. It gets busy on weekends, which is to be expected.
The kids loved everything about this place! Great fun! All agree that the water table was their favorite!
This is a great unstructured learning experiences for younger kids. Lots of various activities that will appeal to many different play styles.
Great for kids ages 2-6.
Omg what a perfect place for my two toddlers and baby!!!!!!!!! Activities are just so perfect and the staff is always alert!!!!!! Thanks y'all for a great experience!!!!!! My kids loved this place and we will be back!
Great place from kids to have fun
My two year old thoroughly enjoyed his time here. There is more than enough to keep a toddler occupied. Unfortunately, it was extremely crowded and a bit overpriced in my opinion.
Awesome place to take your kids for fun and hands on learning!
Perfect place to take your children! Has an awesome indoor and outdoor facility!
First time so many fun activities for the kids
Good for about an hour of fun with a child less than a year old. We had a good time but, not a lot for 1 year olds
My son loves it here. So much to do!
Super crowded. Lots to do packed in a small space.
The kids loved it. Not expensive
This place is great to take kids under 7 years old. The cost is $8 per person. Its a better deal to do a membership. The staff is very friendly and great with kids. The water area is a bit small. The outdoor natural area is a very creative area. A great place to go on a cold or rainy day.
Came here with a 4 and a 1 year old and honestly i think that my 4 year old was too big for most of the stuff. My one year old had fun though. We went on a discount so i wasnt too upset but we wont be back.
Loved It!! My two year old had a blast...and a meltdown when it was time to go. It was well worth the drive!! Can't wait to go back!!
This place is an amazing space for little ones.
I have been taking my children to AHA for about 10 years. The new location is great! Very clean. It’s a small children’s museum but well worth the trip. My preschool age daughters spend about 2.5 hours there before they’re ready to go home. The staff is friendly. Saturdays are really busy so if you want a smaller crowd I recommend going during the week.
Awesome Place
We absolutely love AHA my little one calls it the big building play place its 1 1/2 hours away but we still make the trip monthly sometimes more.
Grandson loves it here.
Great place for kids.
Phenomenal environment for kids! The employees are wonderful as well.
Aha is an awesome play place for toddlers through about age 8-11. It is full of imaginative play, building, musicial, art, and science. My children love Aha!
Fun place for the kids
Very fun and interactive place to take your children
This was our first time and our 4 year olds loved it! The only thing I would change is more craft supplies. We can’t wait to see the new building and will be purchasing a membership!!
The kids had a great time so did Grandpa.
Was great wonderful place for kids love it!
This is such an awesome resource for parents of young children in Lancaster! It's our own little mini version of Cosi, but in a kind of open roaming tumbly toddler kind of way. So much fun that my boys STILL ask to go there sometimes and they're wayyyy older now. If you're new to the community and looking for ways of meeting other parents or just need to get the kids out of the house for a little while without driving all the way to Columbus, then go to AHA, it's awesome!!
My toddler absolutely LOVES AHA! It is one of her most favorite places to visit in town! Her favorite activity is the water table. She also enjoys the little grocery store, the stage, and the craft corner! I love that they have lunch tables available for us to eat our packed lunches so we can spend the whole day (or until she runs out of steam)!
Took my grandson when visiting. Just loved it. Asks his mom all the time to go back.
Fun activities for young children
Great place for little ones to have fun and explore. Very clean.
My toddler loved it we will definitely go back.
We've been here twice and my kiddo absolutely loves it. So many great different areas to explore and play.
I took my nephews here and they loved it! It’s like a mini cosi or children’s museum. It’s not entirely big but it was enough to keep them busy for a while. They didn’t want to leave.
We made a trip for the first time and were very happy we did. Our oldest loved all of the stations inside. She especially liked the outside part behind the building. We will definitely be back and recommend to others to check it out.
The kiddos loved it. We had a good time playing with them too. The building was smaller than I expected. But for 6 bucks, it was well worth the trip.
Visiting from out of town to go to Columbus zoo but due to weather we needed a indoor activity. This was a perfect place for my 3 yoa daughter who has DS. Lots of sensory and gross motor activities. Spent 2 hours here and only left because the adults were hungry, Dtr would have played longer. Thanks for a great day and we are leaving with a few ideas on therapy skills to do at home.
A bit on the small side, but still well worth the trip.
This new building is clean, friendly staff and the outdoor area is really cute. Overall though the value is just poor here. It's 8 dollars per person and adults are charged as well for the privilege of watching their own children. There is a lot of alternatives for a fraction of the cost. I was disappointed. I want to stress that it's a nice atmosphere it's just a really poor value with so many nice alternatives that entertain the kids for even longer at cheaper prices. We travelled about 40 minutes to visit Aha and it definitely wasn't worth the drive. I think if you lived very close (like 5 mins Max) and planned to go multiple times a week and purchased their family pass that's the only time it would be worth it.
Overpriced. Too many rules. Unfriendly staff. My two friends and I drove an hour to check it out and knew within 5 minutes that we wouldn't be back. -The front desk girls gave us a list of all the things the kids could NOT do as soon as we paid. This is never a good sign. -They have a staff person who just stands in the play area making sure every child is perfectly obeying every rule. -There are signs on almost every play space with some kind of "don't touch this" or "don't do that" or "this closes early". -One of the rules is to "pick up as you go" - which is fine, whatever, kids make a huge mess all the time, I get it - but for $8 a child one of your unfriendly staff teenagers who doesn't seem to do much but stand around and stare and chat with their friends can clean up. I've been to several children's museums around Ohio and have never been told to clean up! That really surprised me. -All that being said - the 11 kids that came with our group had no clue about the mountain of rules they had to follow. They all had a good time and played for several hours. -One other thing I'll mention is that of all the Children's museums and play places we have tried, this is the smallest and has the least amount of things to do. There are MANY different stations and all updated and clean, but they are all very small - only enough space for 2 kids at a time. Again, for the price, it's just not worth it for us to drive an hour.
Really fun place for kids. The new facility is awesome.
I loved coming here when I was younger!! It's such an amazing place to bring your young ones! I used to come here on certain days when I could. I highly recommend bringing your kids here ^^
It's a great place for toddlers.
My children loved it! It’s geared toward younger children but my 10 year old had fun as well.
Smaller than i expected but my 5 year old had a blast plenty of areas for him to explore and keep him interested.
Took my granddaughter and we had a blast playing in their activity centers will take her again
Had a great time, my 7 year old was really excited.
I attended a field trip today with my son and his first grade class and I was surprised how much there was to do. I think I’ll be bringing my son on Friday this week to play. Great outdoor play area
Great place for families to learn and have fun!
They have a lot to look at but not as much as toys or us prices are a little high but you can always fine something
Took my 2.5 year old here a few days ago. Nice staff , clean environment, and great spacing between exhibits/play areas.
