You have the opinions of real people who use the services and products of Richard Childress Racing Museum (Museum) in North Carolina.
Currently the firm has a rating of 4.8 stars out of 5 and the rating is based on 251 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is almost the best one, and it's based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the rating is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write scores when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Museum is included in the category of Museum.
Not an Dale fan but very good place to visit
I love this place, so much NASCAR history
The most fun thing I have done in a long time
I've been here twice, and both times were wonderful. The staff is always friendly and willing to talk racing. The price is reasonable and there is a lot to see.
Nothing better than RCR
Great museum. Lots of Dale Earnhardt history and cars. There's lots to see here if you are a Nascar fan.
This is one kool race museum-even met choc. Myers
Great Nascar heritage!
Great layout, awesome history here! Great staff also!!
Real informative and great displays
Nice assortment of historical NASCAR race cars.
AWESOME MUSEUM!! Lots of history in this building.50 years worth to be exact!! Definitely worth the time and the trip.
I was in the area just passing through and knew that I had to stop. Definitely worth the $10 that it cost to do this self guided tour. I've been around racing all 35 years of my life and even though I'm not a die hard fan this brought back so many memories of being a child. I wish I had gotten a chance to tell Chocolate Myers what a great job they have done but he was busy. I will be going back soo to take my dad.
Great walk through memory lane! This is a must visit place if your a Dale Sr and Richard Childress fan. Richard and Chocolate Myers have done a tremendous job retelling RCRs history. Great gift shop also.
Bucket list place for every Earnhardt fan. So much to see. Friendly folks.
If your a Dale Earnhardt, a race, or a wildlife fan this a good place to visit.
Amazing experience, no reviews can justify the feeling you get when you walk through the door, you have to experience it for yourself. Staff at all the shops/museums were very friendly and eager to talk to you about Racing.
Loved seeing the history in this building. As a fan of Earnhardt it was amazing.
Great museum if you're a Dale Earnhardt Senior fan
Nice place. Car show was good.
Meeting Chocolate Myers and seeing all the cars and memorabilia was easily the highlight of my vacation! Definitely recommend stopping by!
Awesome museum, so interesting how his team started..very clean..truck in back was so cool...
Awesome place to visit and see some really cool racing history
If you are a fan of Dale Sr or NASCAR period I would highly recommend making a visit to the shop and Museum. I've heard some people complain about the price but $10 is more than worth it to be able to see the cars. Also my kids loved the interactive part of the museum especially setting in the car. The staff is really friendly and the cars that they have in the Museum is more than worth it. Also the shop has a catwalk so you can look straight down into the shop and see them work on the cars.
Great place to visit to learn about Richard Childress racing and if your a big Dale Earnhardt sr fan this is the place to learn about his racing career.
Dont miss this history masterpiece.
Super Cool, if your into Nascar!!
Great people
A must see for any Nascar fan
My husband and the grandkids enjoyed it.... Thanks Richard Children's for having the Museum..... I got to watch the smile on the face of my grandkids....
GREAT FIELD TRIP..
Best of the trip so far
My first visit to the museum was actually in an official capacity as an IT vendor. Everyone there was “down-home” friendly and I certainly felt welcome even if I was on the job. The museum is surprisingly comprehensive in its scope when it comes to the history of stock car racing. You could visit here 2 or 3 times and still come away having learned more about this great American sport. What most people don’t realize is that the museum is just one building in a good-sized business park that is owned mostly by the Childress companies. The complex covers the entire gamut of team support from body shops, engine shops, parts and testing – it’s all here. Show up on an open house day and you get to see it all! DIY mechanics will drool over the engine shop that is so clean you could probably leave your sandwich laying on the work bench and it might taste better later :) On any other day however, you will definitely enjoy the museum.
Nascar Fans will not be disappointed! You should check it out!
Holy Grail for Earnhardt fans! Chocolate Meyers was doing his radio show at the museum but took a minute to talk and sign stuff.
This museum was very emotional for me. I loved to watch dale race and it was awesome to see how Richard Childress honors his friend dale. Great job Richard.
Very nice facility. Exterior does not do banquet room justice
Took the grandson, had a great experience. Watched as they got cars ready for Michigan.
I loved seeing all of the cars and other things inside of his museum. I even had my photo taken standing next to Dale earnhardt's hauler which was in the museum.
Really nice place to visit and check out if you like car racing and check out how advance cars are th is days.
What an awesome historical museum to visit while in Davidson County. The staff is extremely friendly and if you have the opportunity to take the behind the scenes tour, it is well worth your money!!
Really enjoyed the tour
Great layout of products, but need to lower the price for entering, but still a big fan.
Jackpot Entertainment crew took my dad for a Saturday of fun boy did we have just handing with my dad for his birthday
Very nice
A lot of history! It was good to see the Dale Earnhardt memorabilia.
great museum with a lot of RCR history
Awesome to see his place Earnhardt is felt at this place
Watching the race teams get the cars ready was fascinating... receptionist was so nice
50 Years in NASCAR. Here is the history!
My family planned on seeing a few racing shops near Charlotte and thought about stopping here on the way. We ended up spending so much time here we cancelled our other plans! There's so much to see on the self guided tour, including RCR's history, several Earnhardt cars including some Winston Select alternate paint schemes, his Daytona 500 winning car, Harvick's first winning, photo finish 29 car, Dillon's Daytona 500 winning car and many others. It was better than I expected. My wife is a casual fan but wants to come back on the guided tour.
Great facility, friendly staff, impressive history and view of the shop.
What an experience! Had such a great time seeing all the crazy nascar history! Definitely have a new found respect for the sport after visiting here.
Good time. Lots of merchandise and check the cars. Chevy rules
Visited from England last October and really enjoyed it, loved seeing all the old Earnhardt cars and my wife loved the reduced Menard merch in the shop (she's a big fan of Paul!)
Best tour if Nascar fan . Been to other team facilities for tours . This rcr is hands down the best ask for Jerry to do your tour
If you are fan of stock car racing through the decades then this has to be on your bucket list. I was never a fan of the number 3 when Dale Earnhardt drove it however there is so much more to Richard's museum than just the 3. I did not plan properly and I only allowed half a day to see it which was a big mistake I could have easily spent the entire day there
Go RCR!!!
My second visit and would go again. So much history there.
Great place to visit. Loved seeing Dales championship cars and other things. My two sister-in-laws enjoyed it too and they're from Portland Oregon. Go figure!
This place is FANTASTIC is you're a Dale Sr fan might even meet Richard himself if you go on the right day extremely friendly staff
For any race fan this is a great stop. We ran into chocolate and he invited us into the radio studio to welcome us. Great experience for the whole family of all ages
I will never come there because of chocolate meijers all he does on his radio show is talk about 3 who is dead n rcr n his daddy im sick of it
Really great place if you love nascar and it's history.
Full of great history and very interesting!
If you love racing, NASCAR history and being around good people, then the RCR Museum is the place you want to visit!
My kid didn't enjoy it too much but I really dug it! A lot of history here. Nice and clean.
Disappointed for $10 when Hendrick doesn't charge anything and the facility is nicer but the history in the cars of this place can't be replaced. Maybe give sum free stuff from your sponsors?
Great place to visit for the race fan.
Very cool museum. Definitely worth checking out if your a NASCAR fan.
Takes about an hour to see the history and wild life.
Great place, daughter had a school dance here
Very cool gift shop, take the full tour!
If you love Dale Sr. you will love this. Plus some wildlife trophies from Richard in there.
Very interesting! Lots to look at .
Great tour.
So much to see!! Great history of racing.
Good place
Such a great place for family Took my 14 yr old son a huge NASCAR fan and Chocolate Meyers signed his shirt Made his day
Very nice museum.

Great place to visit for the Earnhardt fan
Best museum or speedshop we went to in charlotte area
Richard knows how to honor his friend and driver!!! You will enjoy your visit and hopefully y'all qill meet Chocolate!!!
This place was impressive so immaculate. A real enjoyable and informative time.
Someone has put a lot of time and effort into this. Definitely a place to see once. I’m not into nascar but it was sweet
AWESOME AWESOME PLACE To the gentleman below complaining about the price...dude...ten bucks? U think that needs to be lowered??
Great place to visit.
Excellent
Happy. Sad. From Detroit.
Best racing museum ever has rooms and rooms of cars trophies and wildlife gallery. Well with the money.
RCR is a must see for any NASCAR fan! The Museum is THE place to go to see all things Dale Earnhardt and RCR! Chocolate Myers is in his office, in the museum gift shop, doing his live XM Radio show during the week. The gift shop manager, Kim is very friendly and helpful and does a great job taking care of all the customers/visitors! The main race shop is very impressive, and has a fan walk where you can see into the race shop and other areas. Also, there are other race teams in the complex, as well as other buildings that house ECR Racing Engines, show car, etc. Very fan friendly!
Loved the museum .from delaware visited while in charlotte got picture autographed from chocolate myers was so gracious .
This is a really nice museum with a lot of history. They did a really great job. Steve is the best!!! So was Chocolate
Lots of history about Dale E
More accurately the Dale Earnhardt museum probably because he did more for getting Richard Childress Racing where it is today. We saw some of the real history if racing and that included meeting Chocolate Meyers. A real southern gentleman.
Enjoyed my trip here. Would have liked to have more explanation videos but otherwise I had a good time.
Great place to visit
This was one of my favorite shops out of all I visited although it is the furthest from the track. There is a small fee, but it is worth the money. Well put together displays, seeing Earnhardt's cars made the drive worth it. It's definitely a stop for any fan. There are also displays showing environmental conservation and the NRA.
It was a Lot of fun !
I took 7th graders for an early summer field trip. I didn't realize the size of the complex and all there was to see. Lots of history and a beautiful collection of cars, trucks, hunting trophies. We got a backstage tour to see cars under various stages of construction, as well. The Earnhardt Sr. collection was beautiful. Even if you are not a race fan, I encourage a visit to this museum. This is a glimpse at the evolution of NASCAR racing, and an amazing opportunity to spark a child's interest in the mechanical engineering career.
Great place to get to if your a NASCAR fan in general and its away from the hustle n bustle of Charlotte.
Awesome, nice people, great place to visit.
We came from California to attend The 50th Anniversary Fan Day. It was amazing. Everyone was so nice , friendly, & helpful. We got so many autographs, and they were all so nice. Thank you Richard and staff for such an awesome amazing day. We had fun all day long!! Worth the cost of flying out here.
Great place to visit to learn about the history of NASCAR.
So many cars to see, do much racing history to view. And the wildlife display was an added bonus. I enjoyed going into the hauler. The place was immaculate and very well organized. Follow the path and you will see it all!
Well worth the $10 adult ticket to get in. Awesome!!!!
Really good place
How could you not .it was awesome
Lot of nice cars there.
Very nice place and friendly about 2 hours needed to enjoy
Awesome place
NASCAR

Not many places to stop in a carhauler or a semi period but here was a lot of room and very enjoyable and the lady's in front was very sweet and all and all a very enjoyable spot to get out of the truck and enjoy life for a whiie
Cool if you like Dale earnhart
AWESOME place to visit!!!
Great!!!
This place is awesome. Richard Childress and All the members of RCR are amazing. We visited on fan day and it was an amazing day. From the Museum to shop tour to autograph session with their drivers. The kindness from everyone was fantastic. We travelled from Vancouver Canada and it was worth every penny to get there. Thank you Richard Childress for an unforgetable day.
A must visit place
This place offers a great history to RCR racing. It is very clean and a cheap way to spend a couple of hours.
I came in just to grab a application. The people I met were very kind and willing to help when I was looking for the main building. Everything was clean as a whistle, and was just an amazing place.this deffienatly is a place I want and need to be working at. Tired of broken down, dirty small shops.
Cool place for Nascar fans!
The museum is one of a kind and the race shop accessibility is the best on the circuit
Lots of Nascar history. Lots of vehicles and history from the great #3 days. During the week you have the place to yourself
Great bucket list place to go for NASCAR fans.
Liked the hands on!
What can I say this Museum and race shops were very impressive. After having been to the DEI Museum and leaving there very depressed and disappointed, we decided to head to the RCR Museum hoping they would have more of the history and legacy of Dale Earnhardt Sr and we were not disappointed. RCR captured so much of the the driver, the entrepreneur, the friend and the man that Dale Earnhardt Sr was and is. It was an emotional and heart warming tribute. It really took us out of our depressed state we were in after leaving DEI. But this Museum is so much more. It take you through the history of Richard Childress, his business, his accomplishments, his family, his friends and so much more. What really impressed me so much was hearing Richard talk throughout the entire Museum and the various television clips of the history of special moments for RCR. Although you no longer can do it as there is no room, but they have allowed fans to sign on the walls in the hauler display in small blocks, it is beautiful. Just absolutely one of the best museums I have seen in the area, I would recommend this highly, especially if you are a Dale Earnhardt Sr fan.
