Great place to visit while tdy to fort bragg. The location is not easy to find but considering you are looking for the special warfare Museum it kind of makes sense that it would be a bit of a struggle to find. There is not of history packed into a very small area. Hopefully in the future, the Museum is given more space as it is a true treasure

Always liked this little gem of a museum. It's kind of lost is all the larger facilities of its type, but it's worth a long look. UPDATE: currently closed for renovations. Gift shop is still open.

First of all you have to get on the base at Ft.Bragg, you need to be fingerprinted, photographed, show drivers license, and proof of vehicle registration and insurance, the base is huge, the special warefare museum is a little hard to find, but its was very interesting, and it was FREE,photos allowed, part of the exhibit was closed when we were there,so dissapointed we could not tour the entire rooms, well worth it though...

This place was great! There is a piece of the World Trade Center out front. They had a little bit of everything from Saddam's gold plated AK-47 back to WW2. My 7 year old daughter even enjoyed it. This museum is free and you can leave a donation.

Ann Williams

Was told the gift shop opens anytime they want, they have their own schedule. They should be open when the facility is opened. Our group could not get the passport books stamped because of it. Otherwise the place is great and very informative.

Doc C

Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Great museum and collection of very significant and relevant military history items. Check them out. You will be surprised.

Lisa Curtice

Love this place.

Ben Hunter

Very nicely presented, professional and pays tribute to those who have gone before us, for they loved to fight and fought to win!

Michael Maricle

JFKSF museum on Ft Bragg is a great experience and the gift shop has a large selection of clothes, books and other items of interest to SF soldiers, active and retired and their family members. Betty can answer any questions you may have.

Justin Edwards

Great Museum showing the inside stories of Special Warfare. It has great detail and historical information that pays great tribute to those who have come and those who serve now in Special Warfare. Also pays great tribute to our allies in Special Warfare. I was surprised and sad to see we lost so many Special Warfare soldiers in recent situations. I will be back again many times I am sure.

Lots of history packed into this rather small place. It is a unique museum among many such places from Ft Knox to the Mississippi Delta The South is rightly proud of their many military bases and the museums that go along with experience.... Ft Campbell, Ft Benning, Ft Jackson, Ft Gordon..add in several USMC facilities, numerous USN bases and more than a few USAF bases... well, the numbers are amazing and I could not be more proud to be an ageing, retired infantryman of the Vietnam War!! HOOAH!!!!

One of the best museum I have ever been to

We visited here Saturday, May 4, the WEBSITE said it was OPEN on Saturday. We traveled from Sun City, Arizona to visit it and we were VERY disappointed to find it was closed and no reason why it was closed. We came a long way for my husband to see where HIS Special Forces had THEIR Museum, how utterly disappointing to NOT be able to see it. We will not be this way again, our loss is great. You should get your website straight and be honest to the public that wants to visit it. Learn from the 82nd. Airborne Museum, they have theirs open and tried to call you for us. They were helpful - you were not honest in your advertising. Shame on you and your administrators for disappointing a Vietnam Veteran.

They have some really cool stuff here! Exhibits on unconventional warfare from WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam and I believe some of the more recent conflicts that involved Army Special Forces. Unfortunately I ran out of time and wasn't able to see the entire museum. I will be back!

Sal Mora

Closed for reconstruction. Hope to be able to go at least once to give an actual review

Stephen Swingle

The museum has a really great array of different weapons used in all of the major conflicts. There is free admission and a gift shop. The exhibits begin with WWI, then WW2, Korea, and lastly Vietnam. They are currently renovating the museum to house new exhibits.

David Rain

I had fun and it was no cost while really educational.

Some amazing stories recorded from the men who were there. Definitely worth a visit. The location is a bit hard to find but then exhibits and gift shop are great.

Christine Michaels

Some of the exhibits are being redone but the piece of the Berlin wall is really amazing to seeing.
