REVIEWS OF SPYSCAPE IN New York

Renee Burns

My daughter and I were in New York for a week, went here our last night and decided this was the most fun we had!! They need to branch out, Michigan would love this and we have plenty of room. Highly recommend. Forgot to mention the staff is awesome. Everyone was friendly and engaging.

pearl silver

Spyscape is a really fun rainy day activity. It's interactive and informative. First and foremost, there is plenty of fascinating information about the history of different spies and their gadgets. Throughout the exhibits, you get to take some quizzes to find out what kind of spy you could be. Best of all, there also some awesome spy related activities such as a laser room and a large scale i-spy.

Lydia Santana

What a great interactive museum/exhibit! I learned so much about espionage here. I was completely engaged and excited to receive my very detailed profile about my spy role. I definitely would recommend this experience.

John Kelley

Great time. Went for Friday night date night with included Martinis and had a blast. Fun and educational.

Mario Rivera

Dope museum, very cool how you get to train as a spy while you learn about the actual spy world. Nice place for the kids or for a date. 5 stars.

Henry Tran

Very interactive and educational modern styled museum. Took about 2 hours to run through all of the content, but if you stop to read all of the information you could be there a lot longer. As someone who isn't too into the whole spy thing, I personally really enjoyed the experience! Well designed platform and the staff were cheerful and added to the overall experience.

Joseph Gillette

Had a good time. Very informative. It was part museum and part interactive exhibition.

K.C. Czermerys

Amazing interactive spy museum. Can't wait to visit again.

Neil Cavendish

Interesting exhibition with fun games. The space is really nice, I would recommend for kids. However James bond add-on was underwhelming but still Interesting. The whole experience is over priced in my opinion so try and find a deal before you go.

Justin McGill

Interesting missions and tests to keep you busy at SpyScape. Worth a visit.

Mike D

I brought my 12 yr old nephew. We had a fun time there with all the interactive exhibits. It is a one time visit though and 20% overpriced. Especially the 007 exhibit. If the entrance price includes the 007 exhibit, I would feel it was a better value. All in all, a cool and fun experience.

Humberto

Really fun place to go. Pricey but time well spent

Frankie Francis

Fun interactive place to chill and soend about 4 hours.

David Blaut

Wanna be a spy? Check this place out for some spy history and interactive activities. The staff is really nice and if you are lucky you can get a free cup of coffee.

Md Ahmed

It is an amazing place to enjoy some quality time with friends or family. It is very informative and interactive, which makes the experience unique. The store has some interesting item with "not so bad" pricing. The entry fee is bit steep at $39 (if purchased online). But, I think that fee is completely justifiable once you complete the tour and finish all the interactions, which includes question answer, problem solving etc. It is like a play ground for young and adults. I will visit it again and will highly recommend to everyone.

Xavier HURAUX

This museum is really awesome and the interactive part just makes it even more fun. The ticket is a little expensive but if you look through the internet you can find them cheaper. I really suggest everyone to go even more to people who really likes spy stuff. Overall great museum and I would recommend it to anyone even and maybe especially kids

Vonte Powell

Should be a reservation only kind of place or book slot times. Takes forever depending on the time you go but it is a fun experience if you’re patient.

Kristen Escobar

Had a fun time here today with my family. We only did a walk through of the James Bond exhibit but we still had a great time. I thought the whole set up of the exhibit was very cool and well put together. We went early on a week day at 11am and the place wasn't packed so we didn't have to deal with a lot of people which helped to make the experience a great one. We were able to take our time and really pay attention to every detail of the exhibit. I do wish it could've been longer and it could have incorporated more from all the movies not just two movies. I definitely think it's worth it to pay a visit to this place especially if you're a James Bond fan. The staff was VERY friendly and attentive. They were also very knowledgeable when it came to the exhibit itself and were able to answer any questions we had. The whole process to get into the exhibit was simple. The little gift shop is cool too and fairly inexpensive compared to other gift shops I've been to. I think this could make a great date night! I do hope to return and experience the entire spy exhibit. Great experience-I'm going to end the review here before I say the word "exhibit" another 72 times!

Sarolta Tóth

We had so much fun. Scyscape is a great place to visit. We are happy agent handlers and spycatcher now!

Kalpesh Krishna

Good museum and a few experiences were fun. Suitable for young audience.Would have liked something more challenging

FETIMA PERKINS

This place is AWESOME! If you're into "spy stuff" there are so many interactive parts. I stayed almost 3 hours just so I could take my time and get the full effect. DEFINITELY GOING AGAIN

Magnus

Very fun and informative museum. Was afraid it would be more for kids but i felt the kids there didnt really like it. I did however. Thought provoking, interesting and with fun games.

Tiffany Chen

I came here for the James Bond exhibit and wasn't disappointed at how cool the experience was! I am not going to spoil it too much but you go through different rooms and you see everything from the real objects from the movies to the set design and the filming techniques. The exhibit is pretty small so it won't take you that long to go through. The price, I felt, is a little high but it isn't unreasonable and you do get to see quite a bit of behind-the-scenes things. I am hoping to come back soon to go through their main experience to figure out how well I do as a spy!

Will Parker

An unique experience unlike any other. If you've ever wondered what kind of spy you'd be, and even if you've never thought about it before, you need to check out Spyscape! I forgot to add that I was there on my birthday recently and was well taken care of by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've heard the martinis here are out of this world!!! I'll have to go back and try!

Rob Anderson

The bond exhibit is not worth the money - it’s a 10 minute walk through of bond clips and a car. The actual museum is awesome though - really great exhibit paired with you building your “spy profile” along the way by completing missions.

Bernice k

We don't have anything like this at home. So it was cool to learn about spies and be one... We went on Easter Sunday so it was quiet. Nice to have the place to ourselves and love how it was interactive. Husband is a big James bond fan so the 007 exhibit was neat too.

Andrew Griffiths

Great place to visit! Very interactive and well laid out with thought-provoking exhibits. Easily spend 2 hours here

Richard Lango

Awesome experience! Learned about espionage in all its forms, while having fun. This was a blast! If you can, get the 007 package. They have "THE" car there. A 2.6 million dollar Aston Martin! A real movie car to boot!

Becky Brandsberg-Herrera

Fun place to visit but is really isn't much of a museum. It is a spy experience. Fun and recommded, but I would call it a museum in a city where there are world class museums near by.

Amos Edwards

A truly informative and interactive experience, it's a museum for the modern age. The laser room is the star of the show, it's really fun and makes you feel like you're immersed in a movie scene. The only complaint is that it's easy to miss a few exhibits due to the floor design. My friend and I had to double back a few times to get everything done.

E.P

Very nice mini games and good place to learn about the history of spying

Samantha Scheifele

This place was very interactive. I loved it! It has some really cool artifacts, and some great information. I highly recommend it!

Niv Pai

This museum is super cool, a lot of fun and a must visit!!! We visited this place (an interactive spy museum) after a friend recommended it and oh boy did we have a real fun afternoon! The ticket is priced at $39 for adults and it's totally worth it. Plan ahead if you're visiting as you can easily spend 2-3 hours here. Upon entry everyone is given a digital wristband which is basically your ID and can be used at every interactive kiosk and games to build your spy profile. They have a lot of information on spies, world war 2 and some past missions which is so cool to read and extremely informative. The laser tunnel and surveillance are the most popular and fun interactive games here. (You can play laser tunnel as many times as you like ). This place is perfect for dates or even with group of friends. They also have a cafe and a gift shop inside. Highly recommend.

Sam

My son had a blast. We learned he is more of a spy than me. Perfect way to celebrate his 10th birthday. I saw lots of adults having fun too

Ian Tyack

This is my new favorite museum. The level of interaction is like no other. Totally engaging experiences and plenty of spy history. The James Bond exhibit is great. Top tip: book the Friday evening Missions and Martinis to experience it without the crowds plus they throw in a drink and dinner!

Robert Schremmer

A fun experience, but not quite enough content to actually be a museum. Very interactive, and the challenges are a lot of fun. This was a great way to spend a couple of hours!

Margaret Shilkey

It was a different type of activity and around every corner was something interesting. I LOVED it!

Leroy Osborn

Had an excellent time. My family enjoyed the challenges. The special ops challenge will burn calories. The surveillance challenge forces you to pay attention to detail. The staff were very professional and patient in answering all our questions.

Jackie Jackie

It was awesome. I loved it.

Jessica Tezen

A dream come true!!! Love this museum they have thought of all the interesting things that make a spy. The laser part of the museum is the best! Will definitely visit again.

Ray Walsh

This place was SO COOL, we did the spy experience and the 007 museum both, definitely worth the time and money to do them. Give yourself a few hours to go through the spy experience portion, there's lots of interactive exhibits (we had to miss the last portion of the exhibit because the museum was closing, definitely planning to come back though). And you can use your bracelet to play games online after the exhibit too!

Romeo Márquez Guzmán / Gelattina

It is very entertaining. I went with my wife and 4 year-old. He was able to play a lot of things! There’s also a nice bookstore and a gift shop

Ella Rehder

This is a cool museum and is accessible! I was able to even play the laser game in my wheelchair

Hechi Zera_Z

Had a great time! Loved looking at all the polygraph machines and all the other things, the questions stations all the games. There was one part of the tour called Deception where you sit down in a booth and watch a video where you look for signs if you can tell a person is lying or not. Also loved the room with all the lasers felt like I was in the Matrix. Well definitely come back.

Shawn Fujyoshi

One of the best interactive museums I've been to, with a technology theme. Worth every penny and I would recommend going for families or groups with tech enthusiasts.

Gary Rudd

Fun, interactive, modern and nothing broken! Great concept, well laid out, very informative and just a lot of fun, especially on a cold rainy NYC day. Also the gift shop at the end (of course) was full of actual useful and cool stuff!

Pulkit Gupta

Dont get me wrong, this was really cool stuff. But in terms of being a museum and the price:.. I didn't love it. I feel like the target audience was very unclear, some things were without enough detail. Other things were so annoying and long. 3/5 for me.

Michael Gorelik

Very cool interactive museum experience, highly recommend for any espionage enthusiast

Becca Snyder

Lots of fun and learning! It is more of a reading place and only a bit interactive, but definitely for kids 10+. Be read to spend 2+ hours if you are truly gonna read it all - and it IS all quite interesting and rich in history!

Anthony Papaleontiou

Great interaction and exhibits. The 007 exhibition is what I went for but found spyscape itself absolutely brilliant. It's a bit thin on the ground with WWII to present day spy devices but what they do have is still very good.

Tommy ABP

Very cool museum/experience with interesting exhibits and lots to do. Would have spent more time here if I could have. The 007 exhibit was especially cool and showcased the best of spies in cinema. Lots of technology made the experience even more interactive. If you like spies they have everything from WW2 to hackers to showcase the world of spying.

Thomas Gilley

Remarkably chill and informative for a touristy thing to do. A bit pricey for an interactive museum, but if you're willing to read and relax it can be fun. Some complex hacker culture is presented in a surprisingly neutral way. If you're a hacker you will find it amusingly cute.

shay meron

Really cool interactive museum for the whole family! There's alot of information about encryption, hacking, desptions and more, but the really awesome thing about this museum is that you get to be a part of it! There are ealot of mini-missions that you need to do, and then- you get your own role in the spy-world. Highly recommended!

Tracy Coathupe

Absolutely fantastic experience. Would highly recommend.

James Winkler

Our kids and we adults had a blast! So much to do and so personalized! I would do this again!

Jiesi Zhao

Amazing place to spend an entire afternoon! Fun and interactive. The special 007 show is not as good as the main part.

Rebecca Lucero

Awesome was to learn about history. So much fun!

Nat C

This museum was intriguing. Interactive museum where you learn a lot about how the govt & other entities can figure out how you live your life daily. Your electronic devices are basically like tracking devices. Just imagine how much effort had to go into tracking down a spy 50 yrs ago. Now, we are always connected so they know our moves & even our purchases.

Lucia Arias

Fun place, great experience good for adults. The cocktail you get at the end though is not worth it - we couldn't drink it. Would definitely recommend the experience, very fun and different.

Inbal Levy

It was very thoughtful and challenging. My neatly 12 YO loved it! me too

Ben Tuxworth

A really fun and unexpectedly interactive experience. If you are knowledgeable about the the world of surveillance or espionage, the exhibits may not be teach you any more than you already know, but will be informative for anyone with only a passing interest. This is also great fun for kids, the interactive games and quizzes are fun and challenging and you get a full breakdown of how you did and how your scores add up to a spy profile at the end. Worth a visit, especially on a rainy day to escape the weather indoors.

Stephen Bellon

Had a great time! Fun 2 hour experience.

Vasiliki Pantzia

Very interesting museum-experience. We have fun and learn nice stories! Recommend it!

Madison Rainbow

This place is amazing! Very educational and fun! Great for all ages. Probably one of the coolest museums I've ever been to! Loved the interactive exhibits and spy challenges! The Lazer room was my favorite part. I will definitely be back!

Man Tai Tseung

Extremely fun! Lots of puzzles to complete and very cleverly thought out, found each of the puzzles really good and you get an idea of your strengths and weaknesses. Tip, you can do the physical puzzles more than once and it takes your latest scores, so no harm in improving it until you get what you like. I particularly liked the laser tunnel, and the CCTV observation tests

Ivan Lanzov

Really nice and surprising experience. I really did not expect such an interactive and well made/organised museum

Tim Samuel

Truly one of THE worst museums I have ever had the displeasure of attending. I paid a monetary amount of $40 for this very “exhilarating” spy museum. All my friends thought the same. Why is it THE WORST MUSEUM you ask? Mainly the price... The attractions in the museum are worth $5 - $10 at the most. The advertisements for this place show the laser room, the only fun part of the museum, which is the only reason this place is worth any money at all. Do. Not. Attend.

Jade Coral

Some extraordinary experiences!!! I love this place so much! So many interactive activities and I learned many things about spy. Even the gift shop is so interesting! An advice would be to include more language choices for the surveillance and question based activities.

Paul Maher

Walked 15 blocks on a crutch and a smashed up knee specifically to go and spyscape. Walked in the front door, had our bags checked. Moved to the ticket desk. Told the last admission was at 19:30. It was 19:40. While the "last admission" time IS on the website, it is only on the plan-visit page and not in the opening hours on the footer of EVERY page of the website. Cool museum guys. Best of luck with it, it definitely wasn't worth the effort i put into coming.

Scott McClay

It really is an experience. Well organized and great fun. Really glad we did this, the whole family had a fantastic time.

anaseini katoa

Been here twice and will definitely be back. The concept is so cool! If you've ever dreamt of being a spy or you're still a big kid, this is for you. It's definitely a great museum but the coolest part are all of the agent activities that you get to complete and your spy profile at the end that tell you what kind if spy you'd be. Buy your tickets online because its cheaper. If you drive, there's a City Park parking just around the corner. This place is super cool, super clean. They have free lockers for you to put your things away, the staff are all friendly and helpful and this is really something for all ages.

Guy Maidan

It's such a great experience. So much fun. I loved it. Make sure you have at least 2 hours. You must be fluent in English (read) to enjoy the museum.

Chloe Ferris

This is one of the coolest museums I have been to. It is an interactive experience and self-guided, so may not be for everyone. However, there were a lot of fun things to do, and I learned a lot about spy technology throughout history!

AJ

Terrific! Top 3 sights on my list from our recent New York trip with my scouts. They were teens and RAVED about this museum. We ended up spending the entire afternoon here because there are hands on activities and mind puzzles. They even did the physical activities twice. Lots to see and do!

Gal Somekh

Out standing museum!!! Every detail in this place is taken to the max. The exhibits are super new and "futuristic" and the stories that they chose to highlight are very interesting. Throughout the museum there are a lot of activities that you can take part in, they really make the experience interactive and fun. I highly recommend coming, this place will surprise you.

Shanni Prutchi

I absolutely LOVED this museum. I was worried that it would lack any significant content, but it was the perfect balance of interactive exhibit and historical/technical information. I'm a huge nerd about the Enigma machine and was especially pleased to see a room dedicated to it, and, even as an adult, enjoyed the interactive components. Yes, the tickets are a bit pricey, but it really is worthwhile. I don't think I'd visit another time, because it really is the type of thing that could get old easily, but I strongly recommend it. Also, the gift shop on the second floor and book store on the first floor are tons of fun!

Christina Gaul

If you like games, this is super fun as you play 12 games and you are debriefed at the end for your performance. The agility and surveillance were the funnest games. In an hour I only had enough time for the games and read only some of the stuff. So plan more time there.

Chris Chan Roberson

A fun and entertaining experience! Very interactive and high tech!

Josh Frey

Amazing experience! The whole thing makes you feel like you're in a James Bond movie. Will definitely come here again and take anyone who visits us to this museum. It's incredibly interactive and very informative too! And has a super classy feel to it. It would be a great date spot honestly.

Paul Perrotta

Went here earlier today with my girlfriend for her birthday . Reading all the positive reviews we thought we were in for a great time but it was the complete opposite of that . It was a giant waste of money . All you do is walk around scanning your bracelets and answering questions about your self on the computers. There was absolutely nothing fun about it it was a totally waste of time and to be honest i want a refund !!!! There was no one there to guide us to what was in which spot , i didn’t even see any employees around . They kind of just threw us up stairs and had us figure it out on our own , and on top of that there was maintenance people right in the middle of it all working on the floor . Horrible HORRIBLE experience . Don’t waste your money or time .

Alexandria Holland

Pretty cool experience. You will learn about spies and the techniques they used during different wars. Plus, there are questions to answers and 4 different challenges you must complete to identify the type of best spy job for you.

Natasha Lemire-Blair

Family of three had a terrific time here this afternoon. We'll thought out and very interactive which makes it great for kids. Good amount of history on this subject from the Enigma to Snowden. I think my spy profile is also very accurate based on the results of the tests and quizzes.

Candice Wu

So much fun! Definitely worth the price. Educational while being highly interactive and stimulating. My friend and I got the adult/student ticket deal, but even if we had paid full price, it would have been worth the money. Every childhood fantasy of mine of becoming a spy was fulfilled, minus the life-threatening situations.

Sheryl Carbone

Love love loved it here! Adults and children had a fantastic time. Allow 4 hours to do this museum justice Bring a bottle of water! Great for ages 8-adults. Dress in cool clothes. The laser test will work up a sweat!

Melody Johnson

Brought my husband to see where I grew up and wanted to find cool new experiences for the both of us. Heard about this place. My sister, husband and I had the BEST TIME! SO COOL. I loved the Imitation Game and it was so amazing to see that sprinkled throughout! Highly recommend it. Laser room and the deception room were so cool! A must see

Tomy Voorhis

Fun time, worth the trip. Check it out if you have time to spend reading and enjoying it!!

David Perloff

Very interesting museum. What's cool is that it makes you interact with the exhibits

Michael Perez

A really cool spy exhibit with tons of interactive content. I would choose this museum if you want to do something more hands-on rather than a traditional museum. Everyone should do it at least once.

Matt Jordan

Really cool museum with a good balance of historical stuff and interactive exhibits. It's a little pricey, but it is a very well done museum that doesn't overwhelm you with too much going on. We spent 3 hours here, so if you are looking to fill an afternoon you do get a lot of bang for your buck.

Joey Aguilar

The most unusual museum in a positive sense. So much I was unaware of now, and so much I was unaware of from world history that was behind the scenes. This museum also gives good information about protecting your identity and understand the mechanisms used to extract it from you (most common white collar crime). You most likely say wow a lot to yourself along the way. There is also a lot of fun games both mental and physical.

Marc Cohen

Wow, didn't have any expectations, but it blew us away. Kids loved it, parents loved it. Great morning out with the family.

Heather Mezzadri

This was a little on the pricey side for what it was, but it was genuinely enjoyable for our group of seven, ranging in age from 5 to 39. The challenges were particularly enjoyable! The reports you get at the end are quite neat and insightful. Would recommend highly for people looking for something different and interesting to do!

James Bradbury

This place is fun and unique. You get an idea of what spies through modern history had had to deal with and the games are pretty unique. I paid for the extra James Bond exhibit and was really impressed with the movies and art and that sexy Aston Martin they had there. All in all a good time to be had. Fun date idea for sure.

chama sklar

This place is super fun & interactive! You can spend a decent chunk of time here & it makes a great activity. I went here on a date & it helped me learn more about the other person & gave us something to talk about. It's all super hands on, so it's a nice change from other museums which are behind glass. It is a bit pricey though.

Dorrie Mercurio

We had a great time at the exhibit. A lot of the information went over my daughter's head (she's 6) but I knew going in that it was for older kids and she had a blast with all of the interactive exhibits, so it definitely wasn't a mistake to take her. I love that you buy tickets for specific times as the space was never overly crowded. The 007 add on was interesting, but might be boring for anyone who isn't a true James Bond fan, especially after how interactive the rest of the exhibit was. The layout was a tad confusing, but they explained at the beginning that there was no specific order to the stations.

Jon Sykes

Great fun. Lots of interesting info and cool practical tasks

Leo Rivera

Such and amazing place. Loved every bit of it. The people in there were so nice. It's a must go place. You wont regret it.

Dmitriy Briskin

Interesting place, but isn't worth the admission price

Stefanie Levit

Educational and fun! We learned a lot about the history of espionage at this interactive and beautifully styled museum. We've been wanting to go for a while and were glad we finally made it. I'd recommend it for older kids and adults alike.

Alexandre Blondin

Overall had a lot of fun, especially the laser game with the buttons. The staff was pretty friendly too.

Edy Hatcher

Tons of fun and a great historical experience as well. My husband and I had a blast and learned a lot. I would definitely recommend.

Vinod Arya

It's one such amazing place which gives you so much thrill about knowing something new and exciting. The place is about the Spys and how it evolved so far, techniques used, world's best known cases and stories and most importantly it has multiple exercises to assess you on your abilities to be a spy. Not only its a unique experience, but will leave you with a great unique experience. Somehow i felt, it may be a way to identify exceptional talent to be hired by these shadow organizations. Who knows who's watching all this data of our assessments. :-)

sandra rak

It was cute, but overpriced and kinda cheesy. The info aspect was pretty cool-delved into the history of espionage very thoroughly and i learned a lot of new things! That being said, I thought the challenges were mostly boring. The laser room was by far the best but it was only about 1 min. The others were all pretty basic stuff, like “decoding” except you’re literally given the code and you just have to put the right letter in, not actually figure anything out. The personality tests are a cool idea. Overall though, I wouldn’t come back or recommend it just because NYC offers such a range of options that it’s not really worth it

Vida Du

We use the New York Explorer pass to get into the museum. It’s fun and educational! The interaction games are really great! It takes about 1.5-2hrs if you want to finish all the games. Up to 3 hrs if you want to visit the exhibition thoroughly

Seung Chul Lee

Fun experience, except the first 5 question booths were down

Rasheed Bustamam

Dope museum, not only do you get to learn a lot about real life spies, but you also get to do fun spy-like activities like cryptography and laser mazes. Fun even without kids!

Madeline Ramos

This place was surprisingly entertaining. Hubby and I were visiting NY. My husband and his friend got us all tickets for this museum. It was a surprise. We didn't know where we were going. I thought initially that it was going to be boring. It has lots of games to keep you entertained. Passing through lasers, lies detector games, etc. I had a blast. Lots of spy stories and equipment. Also has a gift shop with cool gadgets.

Arlen Lara

This place is awesome. It's such an experience from the moment you walk in. It's really worth the price and the shop sells some pretty cool things.

Richard A

I thought this place was better than the international spy museum in Washington DC. It's very interactive and the experience has been gamified. The displays are clean and visually appealing. My daughters are teenagers and they had a great time.

Nohik Semel

Visited with 12 years old boy. Was great. Well maintained. Does not feel to crowded. Excellent value for money. Also visited the James Bond part. Enjoyed it a lot, but I think it fits more ones that are familiar with Bond. Anyway, I recommend as well

Corrina Nielsen

Great place to spend a couple of hours. Very interactive.

Ana Doroshka

Not a museum. Might be good entertainment for kids but I would say nothing to see for adults The customer service is good and I got my money back because I didn't enjoy museum at all

Arielle Tandowski

Fun but required much more thinking than I was expecting, so bring your brain with you. They also have a great gift shop!

Daniel Toribio

An awesome experience! There's a lot more to it than what is said on the website. Really cool space and history about spies.

Justin Ramos

It was an amazingly fun experience. The laser room is fantastic fun and my only complaint is I cant go to the coffee shop here without a ticket. Id go just for the shop. Maybe make this area more public and id definetly be back. AMENDING MY REVIEW!: Thank you for replying and giving me that AWESOME news. So the coffee shop is public?! Oh I'm already planning a trip back. Thank you so much!

Nathanael Murray

A lot of fun more mental Than Physical

Jessica Gay

An extremely fun way to learn about the history of espionage and surveillance up to current day. Throughout the museum you do quizzes and challenges to determine what type of job you would get in espionage. I would say it’s worth the price! Tickets are cheaper if you buy them online.

After Hours Supply Co

Pretty cool experience! Definitely recommend visiting towards the end of the night to beat the line ups. Having a city pass would be a good move as well.

Tim Yates

Truly fascinating. I can't reccommend Spyscape highly enough. Spent 3 hours in total absorbing the thought provoking and informative exhibits and info. The interactive items certainly draw out the spy in you!

Laura Coston

Spyscape was a LOT of fun, and the Intelligence history was great! (BIG HINT: if you are counting steps, or to take pictures or buy things, bring your cell and personal items, I forgot mine and locked it in the complimentary lockers they give you with your ticket with my coat) The museum gives a wonderful overview of how intelligence agents helped to win, and in some cases, avoid major conflicts and wars. It has inter-active games where you can discover what you're role would be in espionage. Your role is determined by scanning a wrist bracelet, and completing tasks. You can take your time, it isn't something that is a traditional tour in a museum with a guide. I went with a friend for his birthday, because they had a James Bond exhibit, and the DB5, and he is a huge James Bond fan. At first glance, I was sort of disappointed that my role at the end was Agent Handler, but upon reflection, I realized that was right (I'm much better behind the scenes and helping others). They have a gift shop at the end with books and other items for sale, as well as a small place to grab a bite to eat. I absolutely encourage purchasing the tickets on line ahead of time, and they do offer validated parking for a reduced price in Manhattan. Check the website for those details (plus the exhibits, since they do change). All in all, if you know someone who is always in investigative mode, this is the place for them. I have to thank a friend from work for telling me about SPYSCAPE.

Dovid Gross

Not sure if it wants to be a commercial version of a museum or a spy-themed entertainment venue. Mostly the latter and kind of expensive for the 2 hours or so you'll spend there. You won't have any reason to go a second time, this is a one and done. I did enjoy it.

Christian S

There were some cool exhibits and interactions. Probably not worth $45 for about two hours of time. It wasn't too crowded on a Saturday afternoon but there were still waits for the activities.

Maiko J Imaizumi

Fun place to visit with kids. A lot to see and learn. Games were fun too. Now my daughter wants to become a spy. 007 section was ok, perhaps great if you are a Bond fun.

Such a cool experience!! Highly recommend

Such a disappointment. Beautiful new building in a great location but not worth the price of the tickets. To be honest, I want my money back. The James Bond exhibit was nothing more than the car (which is why I give 2 stars instead of 1) and some movie props but the rest was just videos and a set model. That's it. I think the "museum" should be embarrassed to take money for it. All hype, very little substance. We kept asking where the rest of the exhibit was. In England, there was interactive photography where you could take photos in the James Bond logo, they had Daniel Craig's and Pierce Brosnan's passports, multiple "Bond" cars - in NY - none of this. A huge disappointment. And I really was looking forward to sharing it with my NY friends... (We all want our money back.)

The main museum was great and fun but I was expecting more towards the end with the interactive parts. The 007 was quick the only thing interesting was the main car, it wasnt worth the extra cost...

Overestimated museum unless your a fan of 007! “Spies” games are fun :)

This has been a very fun experience, it’s not all knowledge based. There is an interactive game that will determine what kind of spy you are. So, what kind of spy are you?

Rona Wang

Really fun place to go :-) very family friendly. 007 exhibition is very heavy on reading with little interactivity, so probably not worth it to bring the little ones. But it is nonetheless, one of my favourite parts of the museum.

Alexey Romanov

Very cool experience worth the price. The idea of personalised wristband is unique and the question stands are fun to complete. The laser room is great, but maybe you can add more tasks to perform there? Also, they have a working copy of Enigma that you can type on, and a real destroyed one!

As my son says, "It was good." An overall enjoyable and informative, interactive experience. Just wish I had the time to see the 007 addition.

Megan Owen

This place is incredible! Great interactive games and fascinating information. Really cool technology that immerses you into the spy world. Would absolutely go again. Purchasing online tickets is convenient and saves a few dollars too.

Omer cool !!

An amazing museum! Includes two floors, one floor toilet, bookstore and reception. Upstairs which go up in a special elevator. The museum has special items. My experience was only for the better!

Yoel Sontag

Fun, family friendly, spy exhibit and activity. Includes exiting games and challenges and a personality test to see what kind of spy you would be. The entire experience is interactive and enjoyable for both adults and older children.

Delaney Brown

Anyone would love this place. Totally brilliant for everyone in the family. We LOVED it

Thomas

Pricey, but fun, informative, interactive museum. We really enjoyed learning about some of most notable spies in U.S. History while also learning about what it takes to be a spy. For the price of admission to the 007 exhibit, I wish there was more to it.

Johan Hoyos

Took my daughter and her friend and they had a blast! The interactive aspect of the whole theme really helps kids tap into their intellect and learn about themselves.

Eric Lee

It was very mildly interesting to spend 1 hour. Not recommend it for $40. If the price is $10 or $15, then it's worth it. If you want to learn about hacking, spy stuff, and computers in general, watch a documentary or read a book. Oh and the museum seems like a setup to get you to buy merch in the gift shop

Vance Barber

Don’t go at 8pm and get the cocktail package. You only have 2 hours. We had our drink and went through pretty quickly and maybe only saw 3/5 of the museum before music was off and we were forced out. You pay way too much money to not see everything. They don’t care. They want you out. Couldn’t finish quizzes, couldn’t see the 007 exhibit, couldn’t really stop to read most things. I would not recommend going at night.

William Kinnane

So much fun. Learn the basics of spy craft through lots of interactive games that kids (and dare I say adults) will enjoy! It was one of my daughters (9 years old) favorite parts of our recent visit to the city.

Michael Hill

I liked it. It was a good diversion from the summer heat. I was hoping for more facts. I'm sure there's much more to display. What about foreign spy agencies? Maybe comparing spy movies to reality? I did like the brain quizzes. Very challenging. Staff was helpful. Some neat stuff in the gift shop. The laser challenge was fun.

Robert Abe

Very cool experience. We only did the James Bond exhibit part though. But still worth it and best of all barely anyone else there at 11am. :)

Shelly Kotek

Fun for my entire family! Trick the lie detector. Do surveillance in a HUGE surveillance room. The laser field was the best! Thought this would be fun for my 13 year old son and not as much my 9 year old daughter but she absolutely loved it too! We had a blast!!!!

Sarah Smith

Learned a lot of history while playing games and finding out more about myself. Definitely worth the time!

Jason Carson

Really cool and interesting experience. Fun and interactive. I really enjoyed this.

Joey Gibson

The SpyScape experience took about 1.5 hours to complete with 2 people. My 10 year old LOVED it. I had to pay the entry fee and loved it significantly less. For 2 people the SpyScape + James Bond was around $115. Compare this to the MoMA ($25) or The Met ($40) and this place really isn't worth the price. The James Bond exhibit really is the Aston Martin from GoldenEye and not much else. A few behind the scenes video documentaries and that's about it.

Yueh-Wen Lin

Very cool experience. I spent more the three hours inside. There are so many interactive design, so you can really get deep understanding about how spy work. All the exhibitions are super interesting. You get even get your spy profile in the end of visit. It’s a place good for both children and adults.

Mikal Collins

So many cool things here!! A ton of fun for the whole family.
