Great place to take kids for a hands-on learning experience. Was disappointed how many features are not working or dis-functional. My kids had a great time, they would have loved to spend more time so that makes it worth the money. Would have been nice to see more staff to ask questions or signage how to operate or how things function. Would love to see that attractions remodeled or fixed up a bit, I would definitely visit again.

this is the best place to bring children to learn about jewish history and what it means to be a jew. there are videos being shown at certain hours, sometimes there are game shows, and there is always arts and crafts that the kids love

The Jewish Children's Musuem of Brooklyn is a fabulous place to get an introduction to many many aspects of jewish life. The exhibits, arrangements and activites are all very educational and very well done. Plus there is a 3 subway statiom across the street. If you need a minyan 770 is 100 feet away.

We had a good time, but my lil baby got scared of some of the exhibits, thinking it was TOO adult-like, grim n dark. I think the lesson n historical focus might have been too serious, too heavy in not a kid-like way.

This is an amazing museum!!! It was such a rich experience learning the Jewish culture and traditions. As an African American, this museum opened my eyes to a different world and a different people that are not so different after all. This was one of the camp experiences that the children I taught learned so much from and had great fun. I wish that we all can do more activities and venture off into learning more about one another. It will surely rid our society of prejudices. An experience such as this, I, nor about 50 black children, will ever forget!

Really cool interactive experience all around Judaism that can be appreciated by adults and kids alike. On the expensive side ($13 for all ages), but you can spend the entire day here. There's that much to do and see. So plan around it. Also check out videos on YouTube describing this place.

The muesum was really fun ( the staff did the best they can in interacting). I came to the muesum with some wonderful young ladies who has a disability. Some (not all) was looking and moved away like we was a disease they can catch. These young ladies are jewish just like the people that was at that museum. Come on people this is a community where people are human and we eat, and breath the same air. Dont be so narrow minded.

This is such a well thought out and truly amazing experience. Each exhibit really captures the essence of what it is all about, without too much wordy explanation and information, then has different interactive things for each experience. There are a few hidden surprises in the exhibits which is a nice surprise too. Unfortunately some of the exhibits we're broken or not working, but that's expected at childrens museums.

Sadly it seemed a lot was broken down when we went. The light board behind the light bright didn’t work—only one touch horn had a workable squeeze ball—the mini golf was closed due to renovations—half the other interactives were missing parts or didn’t work at all. The mini grocery store, slide and ball pit were our daughters favorite things. I just wish there was more for her to enjoy there. This is a museum that is best suited for kids ages 4-10 I would say. Older kids might get board and our young toddler was amused by enough but sadly a lot didn’t work so she got frustrated with some of the items. We are not Jewish, so I did enjoy learning about Jewish culture and the religion. I thought it was well done on that part. Just needs some renovations and love put back into the exhibits and interactive parts.

Great activity for kids for half a day. 6 floors with different aspects of jewish life, tradition, history, culture, trade. Few floors were under construction when we visited, others had arrangements for events even so, it was nice and educational activity for the girls

Spacious, fun/interesting. Compared to finding something free, its expensive. I think its about 13 per admission. But that's a full day in nyc, which is reasonable. Haven't been in a while. Your kids will have a blast.

There is something for everyone: soft play for babies, imaginative play for toddlers, including a fully stocked play supermarket where kids can "shop", and then learn about their "purchases" as they scan them by the register. Interactive areas, including mini golf, a library and history centers, keep older kids and adults entertained for hours.

We love the Brooklyn Jewish children's museum. This is run by the Chabad Lubavitch organization, so right off the bat understand the point of veiw the museum comes from. There are rooms for all the Jewish holidays, exhibits showing biblical history, activities and rotating exhibits. It's a fun day, to museum can take 3 to 4 hours at a time. Street parking is findable but you have to work at it.
