It was sooo awesome!! My girls enjoyed it. History is great for the soul.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. I also like that they are military and student friendly.
Living history! Planes cars military vehicles this place has it all. The views are spectacular you can actually walk out on the tarmac or planes are landing and taking off at the small airport where it's located. Very friendly staff very informative there are interactive things to do there. To include a vintage vietnam-era helicopter what you can get in and out of highly recommend this place can I help you oh hey how are you
Great experience, good information, friendly staff and volunteers. Good amount of planes to see.
A wonderful aircraft and classic car museum. They even have a beautifully restored P-38 Lightning on exhibit! Worth twice the price for WWII & Korean War Air fanciers! Gift shop and docents are very friendly and will explain anything they can.
This automobile & aircraft museum is very impressive. I was amazed to learn that every car is in running condition and every airplane is in running airworthy condition. Check out their website.
After watching the PBS documentary of the world war 2 ..i appreciated more what the world expirenced.

Excellent place to understand a little bit of aviation history.
Love ww2 planes
Great experience! Will be going back ag as in!
Had fun great place to visit
I liked the museum which features planes and classic cars. They have more cars in the hanger than planes. It is very nice in that for planes they often pair the plane with a contemporary car. Very inexpensive place to visit and recommended.
Great place to go in El Paso, draw back is the drive from east side but my kids loved it, will be back
Great collection of war planes and memorabilia!
Great place for the whole family. Awesome antique planes and cars. Great staff and facility!
What a wonderful collection! Tour guide was very friendly and informative. Everyone took pride in being a part if the museum.
The staff was so kind. The planes are so cool and the gift shop is nice
Great place for Aviation history!
This is an amazing air museum! Smaller but on par with the SAC Museum in Lincoln, NE. Fantastic examples. Thanks!
If you like planes check it out.
Absolutely worth the drive. Charlie (our guide) was personable and knowledgeable. Great collection of airplanes and cars, some that you can touch. If you like airplanes even a little bit, take a couple hours to check this spot out.
Great Air Museum with some unique aircraft
A must see and stop. Take the tour, very knowledgeable folks and artifacts.
Nice museum ! You can see rare planes. I love F4U !

This place has a lot of history... specially on the air (plane)
A very nice collection of military aircraft.
Great place to enjoy historic aircraft. Definitely something you need to visit before leaving El Paso.
Fun small museum quick stop for history on eagles
Not enough time to explore , very good !
Beautiful place.
Nice collection of cars and aircraft on display.
Take your kids here to actually learn about the past and how much technology has changed. Very knowledgeable staff! Cool place!
Friendly staff, fairly priced, and for a hanger in a desert the temp was pretty cool inside. Loved all the different planes, pilot stories, and old school vehicles/motorcycle. Great place to bring the family and also great for history enthusiasts like myself.
Loved it
Love it love it love it.
Such an interesting museum with air planes and old cars. Buck was really great answering questions and showing us around!
Awesome place to see vintage planes and cars! Staff is very knowledgeable and have real world experience with the equipment! A definite must visit!
Great place to see some amazing aircraft
For the size and location, this is an excellent air museum! I liked that the museum had taken the time to put up well written stories next to the displays.
Make time to see this impressive place. I mean actually give yourself enough time to meander because there is a lot to see. I mean an actual parking lot of planes. For plane buffs and plain history buffs like me. We are fortunate to have this collection here.
We had a great time here, my kids loved it and the staff was very nice. I will say its a little warm inside but not too bad. Im a big fan of P-51s and they have two.
Had a really good experience while visiting, a real step back in time
Super neat, probably gonna drag friends here if I ever get the chance.
Very amazing place, A veteran will guide you through the museum and tell of their military career and show and tell the history of the planes and vehicles.
Amazing museum! Very professional staff, immaculately maintained, and lots of planes, cars, and historical items for all ages. A must see if you are in the El Paso/Santa Teresa area. Has great store where you can buy air memorabilia. You won't be disappointed if you like aircraft and classic cars.
Loved it. I took my son and he loved it.
The tour guide is just awesome. Make the whole experience even better lots of planes and story behind them and classic cars too so even better
It is a very interesting place. I love it
Very interesting
Really fun place, good variety of planes plus older classic cars. Really fun store too. I recommend this place to any military enthusiast.
Great place to take the family. Very friendly people and just full of information.
Great place to visit!!
Great hidden gem of a museum in Santa Teresa New Mexico
Love this place, excellent customer service, very beautiful cars and planes, restrooms are clean, my only problem is one of the ladies that work there is not very good in customer service or with kids but everyone else is excellent that's why I didn't take more stars, Prices are very reasonable and(tip:) if your lucky you will get good deals at the clearance table.
Step back in time. Avation Static displays from WWII, Korea and Vietnam Automobiles from the 30, 40s but the planes... 5.00 entry fee is worth it and more.
Fantastic place if you like old aircraft that are brought back this is the place to go!! Awesome staff really appreciate the answers to all the questions asked!!
Pack a lunch and bring plenty of water, i was there for five hours today and only got through maybe 60 percent of all there was too see. Planes are in amazing condition and phenomenal to see up close. Along with a lot of local history to tie it all together. Nothing but love for this great little treasure in our barren neck of the woods, and i cant wait till next time when I'll hopefully finish my tour.
Awesome. Kiddo LOVED it.
Amazing gem in the desert. A must go if in the area. Kids are free.
OUTSTANDING! At first glance, as you park, you will see 2 aircraft on the tarmac, weathered by nature, so you expect something from a typical desert type museum - however - you will step back into time once inside the museum. All aircraft inside are taken cared of nicely by personnel that are moving back and forth (quietly) and all aircraft are located within a central - "main hanger" - Once you pass under the entry door make sure you look back to see - "Kilroy" - above. I was taken in by the aircraft, that I instantly became a yearly member, which I intend to upgrade when I get the chance, to lifetime. :) I am glad that I did take the chance, paid the small membership due, and became a member, that I now have access to the museum whenever I want to get-away from all the hustle and bustle of El Paso and just enjoy some quiet time. I will be coming back at least once a month! I was also impressed with the museums gift-shop, which has allot of modelles and interesting items on display. I haven't looked completely through it, but I did catch many things that I became interested in, so I am definitely returning to get those things. All in all, you will not be disappointed in this museum or its artifacts. Its well worth the price of admission!!
Ended up in El Paso after a few days hiking in the Guadalupe Mountains National Park and were looking for a fitting activity for our last vacation day. This museum was just the thing. We have visited several air museums and this one is equal to the best. Interesting air and auto exhibits well presented. Friendly staff. Well worth the short drive.
Great placer to visit
Great place to visit for historical enjoyment. Lots of old war planes and cars. A must see if you are in the area and enjoy history. Kids love it!
It's a go-to place for me to fly friends into to visit. The planes are very well kept, staff is extremely friendly & knowledgeable, and the cars are cool too. If you read everything it'll take a couple of hours, if you just want to look it'll take you about 30 min.
Very easy to get to and the displays offer a great view of the planes and cars. #culture #learn
I enjoy going. It reminds me of my father ,who was a World War II vet. Thank You for the the memories.
All time favorite great guides and awesome learning experience.
Very interesting museum at the Santa Teresa airport. It's one of the region's hidden jewels.
Great museum, love the displays.
It was a great experience
A great hidden treasure.
Very interesting place to go to learn about different types of aviation equipment
I loved this place I got to see some of my favorite WWII aircrafts. I felt like a kid, the history of those planes and the condition, so clean so well persevered. This museum's displays are so well taken care of. I really enjoyed myself, I am definitely going back
A little drive, but a pleasant surprise. Very well kept hanger and aircraft, and Buck our volunteer guide had tons of information
It is good for you
Very cool place.
Had our own personal tour guide & he is Very knowledgeable about every plane/vehicle in this museum. Plus he also let us see some cockpits up close...he even let me Sit in one of them
I was extremely impressed with the variety and quality of the airplanes on display. The Corsair and the Lightning were beautiful specimens. I have to admit that I wasn't expecting much from this "tiny" museum, but I was amazed at how many aircraft they crammed into that hangar. We spent several hours looking at all the planes (and automobiles). Would highly recommend stopping by the War Eagles Air Museum. Plus, there is a decent little diner down the road. We are planning another trip to the museum next week!
A really fun place with helpful people.
My experience here was fantastic. I love that the director(s) went out of their way to make Purple Heart Elementary memorable. I was a parent chaperone on this field trip and and will definitely will be visiting this museum on my free time. Vigil was our tour guide and made our trip so special.
Excellent collection of retired aircraft. A number of veterans walk about and engage patrons with comments about aircraft and history. My organization held a gathering here and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Lots of WWII airplanes. Highly recommend
Allot to see. Very clean, and well taken care of.
A must see!
Incredible collection of aircraft and rolling stock.
Super cool museum alot to explore if you don't mind reading a bit
Very educational. I enjoyed reading the back stories of the aircraft. Had some vintage vehicles as well
Great exhibits
Aviation at its finest
You will love this hidden treasure!!
Had a incredible collection of planes and cars. The staff was super friendly. Really enjoyed it!
This museum is a gem. Planes from nearly all times in best shape from different countries. The famoust cars from the beginning of building cars. Last but not least very friendly people working there. I enjoyed it.
You really should go. The volunteers are people with experience in this museum, Buck gave us a really enjoyable tour and we thank him so much. Thank you for giving us this experience it's one of the best that we've ever had.
Been here many times never get tired of coming back !
Great museum, love every minutes. The tour guide know their stuff
The Best Air and Space Museum in New Mexico
Really interesting! Take a jacket ; it's cold in that big hanger in winter.
A very nice setup museum, good selection of planes and antique cars
Nice collection of planes and cars. The giant ceiling fans kept the hanger cool, even when it was 100 degrees outside. Really Friendly staff too.
This museum had a wonderful exhibit not only of the planes but also the automobiles of the era. There was also cars from earlier times. Go early in the day it takes time to see it all.
Great experience for the young and the old alike, great staff, great history.
A very interesting place with cars ranging from 1902 and aircraft from around the world - including South Africa.
I only took one star off because it's hot in here but the museum is awesome
One of the best air museums I've ever been to.
D I loved it. Calm relaxing, beautiful aircraft and antique cars.
If you love history & flight, then it's a must. They have very knowledgeable guides there; for most of them have seen these beautiful planes in flight, or flew it themselves!
Nice museum if you like planes .
Lots of plants and cars! The best part is that they are mostly in working condition, or close to it. Not just hollow shells.
Interesting place!! Very enjoyable!!
Vintage planes and cars. A magnificent history of aviation! Kids and adults loved it.
Neat museum. Lots of airplanes and history to see. Pretty much in the middle of no where
Well worth it. Very impressive. Lots of items on display and a couple of the planes had steps that you could up up to look inside the cockpits. Also had a lot of vintas ge automobiles on display. Volunteers on hand were friendly and very informative in answering any questions.
Beautiful exhibit! Family Day trip
Love this little piece of history in our backyard. Beautiful automobiles, airplanes and more!
Don't miss this museum, the extras beyond the planes are amazing. These have cars as well!
This place is fantastic. The selection of artifacts, cars and planes is just incredible. Everything is organized in a way that honors the amazing planes and the people who flew them.
Some of the best aircraft on display in 1 place, it doest get much better than this if you like airplanes..
Great place to go to see some world war 2 aircraft
We were very impressed with the spirit of excellence that pervaded this museum. It is well-organized and has many, many interesting displays! Our guests enjoyed it, too! We will definitely recommend this experience to others!!!
Great collection in pristine condition.
War Eagles is a fantastic museum to spend an entire day really walking and learning fascinating facts about the vintage aircraft on display. They have one of the few flying examples of a P-38 Lightning in the world, itself worth a look. The antique and classic cars are also a nice bonus. If you’re going in the winter time, bring a good coat, the hangar is cold. In the summer, it will get a bit warm. Even though it’s a bit of a walk, there’s a lot of stuff outside the hangar to see. And yes, veterans do get a discount with valid ID. A must-see for aviation buffs.
Awesome experience for a very reasonable fee
Fabulous vintage airplanes and automobiles. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Well worth the visit. I will return!
They've got airplanes and old cars and history of our women and World War II let's never hardly ever spoken of woman power!!!!!
Great place to visit!
Great airplane collection as also car collections
A bit out of the way but well worth a visit. Great collection of cars and planes. I was lucky enough to sit inside of the DC3.
Nice museum for kids and adults
Fun little museum. Lots of great exhibits with World War II planes, Cold War aircraft, and even classic cars. Cheap admission prices.
It made the plane come to life great place to go
Took me back to my childhood and summer vacation road trips! Now my daughter can experience it herself! A must for history enthusiasts!
Neat museum in the middle of nowhere, but worth the trip if you like aviation and/or vintage cars. They have some fairly rare WWII aircraft like a P-38 and P-51 is almost flyable condition. Most of the museum is inside a large hangar that's a little warm on summer afternoons but not unpleasant. Fun memorabilia scattered around with very detailed plaque for most of the collection, which was very nice for the enthusiast in me!
Great experience my kids loved it!
My daughter absolutely loved the museum
We have visited the War Eagles Air Museum twice and we are always learning something about the history of the aircraft, automobiles, and other war related items.
Very cool planes. Admission is worth the visit.
We ve been to this museum a few times already. Both kids love going there. Great selection of WWII and other times airplanes and cars. They recently raised their admission fee ($11 now) though, kids under 12 (I believe) are free.
Awesome museum that not many people know about! Amazing plane/car collection!
Very nice vintage war birds and cars alot of fun for the whole family
Interesting and informative.
Great place for kids & adults lot of things to see.
Excellent hands on exhibits with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Well worth visiting many times.
Interesting. Great displays of both cars and aircraft. It's our first time here. Loved it.
Excellent museum, excellent collection!
Having fun at Franklin High School AFJROTC Ball.
It was worth the drive. Lots of interesting facts.
Awesome!
Great day trip for the family, it's cold in there but it's expected as it's winter. Definitely enjoyed it and we will be back.
Really enjoyed. Grand daughter loved it
Awesome museum
This place is phenomenal!! There is so much history in the one place. Great place to learn about different wars as well as the machines used. The tour guide we had had a wealth of information and kept us engaged, especially my 6 yr old granddaughter interested. Thank you so much!!
A very nice museum. Worth your time to visit. It will take you to the past through its old planes, cars and memorabilia. The entrance fee is inexpensive and free tours are provided by very kind volunteers eager to explain you about almost every piece in the museum. A good visit will take you a couple of hours. Photography is allowed. This is a very nice place to spend a Saturday morning. Five stars for the way this place teaches you about an important era of not only the USA but also about the European allies.
Awesome stories on different airplanes.
A really good selection of aircrafts and vehicles considering it's relative remote location
Well worth the visit, especially if you want to remember the greatest generation.
