Here you have the opinions of real people who consume the products and services of Santa Fe Children\'s Museum (Museum) in the area close to the state of New Mexico.
To this day the business has a rating of 4.6 stars out of 5 and the rating has been based on 354 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is nearly the best, and it is founded on a large number of reviews, so we may conclude that the score is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to put feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Museum belongs to the category of Children\'s museum.
Loud and small, but perfect for our daycare kiddos.
AWESOME PEOPLE and an awesome place to take your kids. My camp did missions here and they were extremely grateful for out comtributions
An incredible place for children to engage in meaningful hands on activities and is developmentally age appropriate for infants and older.
Love to come here with the kids. Thought my guys would have grown out of it at 8 and 5 but they still had a ball.
Fantastic little children's play museum. So many creative play areasi but not too many that it's overwhelming. Reasonable price for hours of play. Has similar exhibits to Explora in ABQ but doable for 1 parent unlike Explora.
My son had a blast!
Awesome place for younger kids. I took my 3-year-old nephew, my 2-year-old niece and my 2-year-okd daughter and all three had a blast. Their favorite exhibit was the wind tunnel. They loved the little playground are for toddlers and little kids, the bubbles, the face painting area, the sand pit, the train area and the crafts. My nephew got to make slime. He was so excited. It's true that it's small but we ended up staying there for 2.5 hours, and even the adults had fun. We only left because it was nap time. Highly recommended and will definitely go back.
Fun stuff for kids
great experience
I love it
A family staple in Santa Fe for sure. A great place for kids during all seasons. I spent tons of time here as a kid and now take my own children.
Small museum, but the kids loved it and didn't want to leave
This is a really great place to check out. We were just visiting the area and wanted to take our little man somewhere fun. He loved it. Got to see a snake eat a dead mouse. He thought that was awesome. Couple birthday parties going on as well, so clearly that option is available. Really nice place.
I'm a big kid (with three little girls) who could spend all day playing in this place!
Fun day with my baby boy. I love this place it's awesome!
Really fun for kids and adults, great screen free and outdoor play
We love this place. There's lots of activities as well as a large variety of things to do from splashing around in some water. Playing in sand with lots of toys, creating lots of things with learning toys, climbing, science experiments, and to much more to list. It's pretty inexpensive for a family of 3 or 4 for what you get. The facility is pretty clean and the bathrooms were also nice and clean.
This is a great place to bring kids 8 and under. Keeps them busy and they get to use their imagination/creativity in so many ways.
A great place for kids to learn and interact.
I thought it's a small boring place for babies-my lil one's expression. Staffs were kind and helpful, facility is well prepared with various materials. We could have spend all day there. Oh, you can re-enter the museum with stamp!!!
Came here a ton when I was little and always had a blast, recently revisited and it still feels like a great place to be a kid in.
My son loves coming here. Exhibits don't change much, but the kids always seem to have a great time.
Such a fun place! Made me feel like a kid again and my grandbabies had a blast.
The kids love it but it is a bit smaller than others we've been to. But since it's been around since I was a kid, I know it's gone through some wear and tear. Still a good time for le bebe's...
Friendly staff, ever changing activities. Great price and affordable annual membership. The only real downside is the fight it is to get my 4 year old to leave, but that is not a downside just proof of how wonderful this place is for children. Beautiful outdoor area as well.
Entertains the kids for hours and there are so many fun adventures
A place for Children in Santa Fe that Santa Fe should be proud of... awesome
He had a wonderful time at the children's museum. He was able to explore at his own pace and create.
Has gotten better over the 7 years we've lived in Santa Fe. V they continue to as new exhibits activities. I'd love to see more outdoor exhibit additions as well.
Great place for families
Great place to bring a young inquisitive mind!! We will be back!
Fun for kids.
Our kids love this place.
I like this place but they don't have as much as it used to have for kids to do.... a lot of the attractions are gone. And there's not too much hands on projects for the kids to do... but yet I spent it with my granddaughter and I just had a blast
Lovely children's museum. Just the right size to spend an hour or two.
Great interactive kids space! Interior space is small but has great hands on exhibits using wind, bubbles, magnetics, & kinetics, as well as art and face painting. The big plus here is the great outdoor space, it's huge with lots to do. Summer camp program. Annual Family membership for 6 is a good value for $125.
We visited with Children ranging in age from 3 to 11 and lots of fun was had by all. Fun, clean, beautiful indoor and out!
Isn't pretty but keeps little ones entertained all day long.
Pretty good but a one time visit only
We had a great time at the museum. There was plenty of space for our 2 year old daughter to explore everything from engineering to gravity to music to culture. If we lived closer we would definitely have a membership. They would get 5 stars if they repaired an exhibit or two.
Plenty of fun things for kids of several ages to do while teaching science and art, etc
awesome place to take the kids to have fun and explore they have pretty cool activities for all ages
Its a fun place for kids and adults, it gets all the stress out, and everytime i go their is something new!
Much better than Explora. Children can move and explore freely. Not confined to cubicles. Good for children with sensory needs.
Good for younger children - 5 and under. Small interior quenn a wonderful large outdoor area with lots to do.
Amazing! The kids loved it, especially the outdoor gardens
Awesome kids have alot of fun and enjoy just being kids
I remember going since i was a kid since i was 6 years old and I still go when I have time an now I'm 35 yrs it's great and fun!
My son had a great time here playing and using his imagination
Kids really enjoyed this, the tape bridge was awesome.
Wonderful staff. My daughter got friend with a friendly staff, Aubs, and played for a while there.
The business name is misleading as this is more like a daycare environment than a museum. There was no staff to structure a learning experience. Most children were left unsupervised making this family excursion feel chaotic.
Always love this place
kids loves this place!
Great smaller children's museum, lots of interactive exhibits for all ages, indoor and outdoor, you can spend hours here!
Pact with things for kids to do! A must do if you have kiddos
Does not have much going on anymore very dissatisfied with our Saturday visit
Awesome place for the kids! Would definitely go back to pass the time and let the kids play!
Fun place to take your children
My kids had a really good time here. They spent over 4 hours. They have lots of educational activities for kids. They do charge an entrace fee but trust me it is worth it.
Fun, great staff but... broken things are rarely fixed, for years at a time. They just closed for repairs and it's the same as it was. Broken things. Missing parts.
Love this place, love this place!! Great stop for kids (baby - tweens), with hands-on activities that will keep anyone busy for a few hours. If you're a germ-o-phobe, bring plenty of sanitizer, because everything has been sucked on, spit on, or tossed around by variety of kids. If you don't care, then your kids' immune system will thank you later. Worth the cost of admission. Outdoor activities are amazing in good weather. Not much to do when snow's on the ground.
We are traveling from out of town with a two and a half year old. This was such a delightful find and gave us 2 hours of "rest" from wrangling our tornado. The place was clean, safe, and had a lot of different things for him to explore. Staff members were very friendly and the price was appropriate.
It's a great museum. It's tiny but somehow you can spend hours here. There is a great toddler area. Restrooms are clean. If you have a SNAP card, admission is $3 (2017), otherwise, I'd consider it pricy and probably wouldn't come.
I expected there to be more to it than what it had
If your child likes playing in water, they'll love it. There is a water feature that runs a long way in the building. There are outdoor activities and gardens. The toddler room has a lot of toys and books.
Great place to have a Birthday party for the kids so they can have fun and play at the same time.
Great for my 2 year old. Bring a change of clothes.
Awesome place to explore & adventure with for kids of all ages
Awesome place for kids on the younger side, think 9 and under. Terrific summer camps!
It was the best and my toddler loved it! Great exhibits and the volunteers were great!
It is not a museum. In the sense that there are no exposition or things you read am learn. They have several kinds of activities... like pattern blocks, soapy water to make bubles, rubber ducklings and water slides, snakes the kids can pat. So it is fun it is fun.
Very cool kids and the parents. Yep
The staff was wonderful, the inside and outside of the museum offer plenty of interesting things for kids to do.
It was so fun
There isn't too much to do. It was much better before. They should think of aome more fun things/activities to do.
Was not expecting such a big wonderful museum for such a small city ... kids had a great time! Highly recommend!
So much fun and affordable! There is so much to do for kids of all ages. There was even a toddler area to keep the little ones nice and happy without running into bigger kids.
Great for children under 5
Very little to do, not very friendly staff.
Could go many times and still have fun. I imagine it can get super crazy on the crowded days, but it's very nice when there aren't as many people.
Super fun. Both for my 9 month old and seven year old. Very interactive and everyone was havung a blast. It was late in the day so there wasnt much happening and a little empty outside but still fun.
Great for young children up to about 7 years old. Plan on about two hours to explore and play.
Beautiful indoor/outdoor space with lots of open ended creative activities. Best for preschool and elementary school aged children.
Nice place!
Great fun place for kids
Fun. My 8 yo girl liked it, but ran out of entertainment after 1.5 hrs. Geared for ages 4-6....but fun for ages 1-3 and 7-9 too. We'll definitely visit again.
Good place to take the kids to have fun.
More of a playplace than a museum. I was very happy with the experience here they have a separate area for toddlers and plenty of activities to keep all ages busy. There is a main building, an out side music area/sand pit, and a shed with a large train setup.
Nice
Great family programs
Plenty of different things for young ones and adults to play and learn. Almost everything here is interactive. I haven't seen a kid in there not have fun. Going isn't the hard part; leaving is. This place is a blast for 3 year olds and 40 year olds.
Ok, but on the smaller side. They do have an outdoor portion of the museum as well which is nice. My children really like the big bubble pits inside.
Great for young children. They could play for hours
Fun space, spent an hour and a half there, which was a good deal for the price of admission. Staff was friendly, along with the other families there.
This place is not impressive to people with access to big-city children’s museums. However, it can keep a child occupied for 1 to 4+ hours, in my personal experience with kids ages 1 to 8. Water flow exhibit, really nice art/craft spot, the bubble making site, some climbing and a “young tot” area, and more. Best sandbox in town plus a nice outdoor area for free play. The outdoor music making area was broken and nearly useless on my last visit.
My boys had a great /fun time here at the children's museum. They had fun for hours! !
Best place for you and your innerchild to explore together...and have fun together! Parents sitting around on phones...trying to use Wi-Fi...which was frowned upon by the staff...she was okay with it though. Spend a good two hours and bring snacks...
My kids always have a blast here! Water play, bubbles, DIY face painting, toddler area, puppet show and dress up area, etc.... Outdoor garden area, meet the resident corn snake and turtle on the weekends. Snake feeding on Sunday too!
Fun and amazing
What a fun place! Our daughter loved all the interactive exhibits and the three hours of nonstop fun you gave her. Thank you for keeping it so clean & tidy!
Great inside and out, summer and winter, always improving and new! First, become a yearly member as it is a great savings and very affordable, includes guest passes. During the winter having somewhere to go to run around is very nice, with all the enriching and interactive areas, and in the warmer times the outside is great, truly unique. I can't wait until my daughter is older and we can get more involved with the adobe and garden projects. The staff is amazing! Thanks very much everyone!.
This place is awesome!! If you are a parent and wanna take your kid somewhere fun...this is the place. Lots of cool stuff!
Great for kids under 9 years of age.
My 2 year old loves this place. He would stay here all day if we let him. Plenty of activities for 6 and younger.
I was disappointed in the place. I thought it would be bigger. They did have some neat stuff though.
Great place to let the kids be kids but wasn't as upkept as before maybe just a bad day I went
This was an amazing experience for my 4yo, but I liked a lot of the exhibits, too! And it's not expensive! Go! Try it! If you don't like crowds, go first thing in the morning.
Very cute! Your child will enjoy it! Though not big, it still gives at least two or three hours of play to children 10 and under. The outside area is pretty large, and a true oasis for adults under the trees, while children dig in the sand, play in the boat, climb the big Rubik's cube or run around :-)
Always will love seeing my kids grow and play here! Thank you for serving our family for so many years ❤️❤️
Fantastic small museum which is kid friendly and appropriate. Lots going on always.
My sons loved it.
Great place to go with kids.
Go-to place to take the kiddos.
My kids love this place. It's awesome because you can do whatever you want. If you need help staff will help you but it's pretty much up to you to do whatever you want.
Unleash children and step well back. Requires parental disconnect. Helicopter no fly zone
Friendly place good for children
Good till ages 7 or 8. Neat activities
So much fun! I love the big bubble stand!
Good place for kids and family.
I've been coming here since I was a kid and now have the joy of sharing the expierence with with my kids as well. While smaller than Explora in Abq, we feel that the quality and exhibits are much better here at SFCM. It feels much more interactive, creative and unique.
Great place to take the little ones
So friendly and full of fun. A safe place that promotes creativity in children
Was a good and fun place for a 4 year old
Charming. Kids loved it. I played with the bubbles more than was appropriate for a grown man. Lucky I have kids to hide behind!
There's nothing quite like going full circle, especially when it comes to taking my own one-year-old to a place I visited from infancy to probably around age 10 or 11. Though a lot has changed (miss you, greenhouse and rock wall!), they have worked hard to bring in brand new, dynamic, and educational exhibits that are fabulously fun for children (and grown ups). There are nooks, crannies, and paths all over the place, a gorgeous outdoor garden, and a quiet room and toddler area for when the main area gets overwhelming. I highly recommend picking up a membership and following their Facebook to stay up to date with special events. We'll love this place forever!!
Amazing interactive children's museum. My 8yr old son could have stayed engaged with discovery centers all day...we will be returning!!
Amazing place. My kids loved the variety of things to play with. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Definitely going to go back there again.
Great activities and a nIce layout. Be sue to check out the trains and the outdoor exhibits! Well worth the visit!
Very fun. Good for about 3 hours.
Unique and entertaining little gem!
The place needs more funding. And it shows. There's still a great time to be had for the younger kids.
Lots of good tactile stimulation activities for the kids. Always a good time at the bubble table too.
Good visit. Kids had fun.
I used to love coming here with the kids a lot but my schedule hasn't allowed me to go as much as I would like. This past weekend I was able to attend a birthday with the family for my friends son. The party was at the end of day so the kids got a lot of time to play and explore the place. My son loved the bubble station and the air lifter station (not the actual name)...of course my daughter was just to cool to hangout with us so she ran around trying everything with her friends. This place has a lot to get your kids imagination going and also test their persistence on certain activities. The whole family will actually enjoy it.
Plenty of activities for children to do.
This children's park is great. It has all that kids need
The staff was very friendly and interacted with the kids. I'm underwhelmed by this facility. I think anyone over the age of 5 would be underwhelmed by this place as well. It wasn't very busy when we went on a Saturday morning which was nice. No complaints, it was nice but leaves something to be desired.
I love this place for my kid...
Great place for the toddler to ten range. Don't forget to take a look at the outdoor exhibits
The Santa Fe children's museum is a really fun place to take our children, and they seem to truly enjoy it as they can learn through play. They have a lot of activities which involve water, inertia, magnetism, static electricity, and movement. The cost is around $10-$15, per child, which is the norm for children's museums.
This place is great for small kids. They have alot of hands on and face painting for the children. My kids love when they bring out the snake named corny .
So neat! Such a nice place to take the kids. There is plenty to do. There is a small door for the kids to have their own separate entrance. (by the main door). Inside they have an area for toddlers to play, dress up with a stage, water play area, bubbles, face painting and so much more. Outside they have a small grassy area, "sand box" area, Adobe play house and more! The cost wasnt terrible it was $30 for 2 adults 3 children. They also have memberships as well. We definitely will be going back!
Great spot to bring kids!
I absolutely adore this beautiful place. Kindest staff ever that truly care about kids and it shows! Always an adventure and is worth visiting over and over again!
Super cool place to take your kids
Excellent museum. My nephew loves going here on days we can't get into Meow Wolf and sometimes he picks this instead. Lots to do, very bright, well spaced, good activity variety. Lots to do inside and in nice weather outside too where you can see model trains or play on the playground.
Amazing place to take your kids!
My toddler enjoyed his time here. The inside is alittle small but has a specific area for smaller kids with toys and is gated so they can’t run off. The bubble area is the coolest. They also have an outside play area my son liked the sand pit. Overall pretty nice place.
A great place in a city that does not always have a lot of options for young children
I love the changes to the museum, the colors really brighten everything up! My children love the toddler area changes!!!
Wonderful little place for kids to spend a few hours. Was really impressed. Kids got to touch a snake named Cornelius the corn snake. Would visit again.
Took my daughter and me and my wife she enjoyed it lots of fun Vineyard things for kids to do
So good I drive an hour to come here
Our kids loved it. Would be a 5/5 but I’ve seen some other kids museums that are next level.
Great for many different ages. Great to watch kids learn as they play.
I saw this place on Google and thought I would take my kids to it. Then I went to the website. I'm still trying to figure out what they have to so there, or what the place is. There home page is: book a party, or field trip. Their other links are to give them money or drag you in circles through the most retarded website u have ever navigated. If their business resembles website in the slightest fashion, Hard Pass.
Great place for young children to play, learn and explore.
