This Museum corresponds to the category of Museum.
Disappointing. Half the cars were not clean, others were very nice
EZ. Worth $3 entrance fee
Great museum with tons of memorabilia. At just five dollars to go into the car museum, it is well worth it. If you take kids in there, please don't let them touch the cars. The cars are beautiful!
Great cars.
Cool place and lots of Route 66 stuff to buy! There is also an old car museum in back!
Ok ... some cool autos
This is a must stop on Route 66. The cars here are so freaking amazing. I didn't want to leave.
We enjoyed our stop at Route 66 auto Museum. There was some really neat cars there. Plenty of space to park your RV there and even a place in parking lot to stay overnight with hookups. Don't know anything about that but I saw the power pole and the lady inside mentioned they had a RV park.
The best cars come together. good place
Thank you very much it's incredible to see all those old cars. They have over 30plus cars on displa for $5 entrance. We are delighted to be here. Thank you very much.
The museum was awesome
Was a great place. Friendly staff, good gift shop, lots of classic cars. Only wish it was a bit bigger and had more. Worth the $5 quick stop.
Not a terrible spot to use as a distraction from the road. Not exactly a must see destination but surely not a waste of time. Plenty to look at and plenty of memorabilia to buy.
Very cool little spot!
A surprise find. I was on my way to Albuquerque from Tampa, Fl. and stayed the night in Santa Rosa. As an older car enthusiast the museum was quite a find and well worth the $5 admission.
Nice exhibits and friendly staff
Very enjoyable
If your driving this way and you love antique cars you have to stop by this museum, I just love it!!! And its only $5 a person.
It's different.
Fun and friendly stop along RT 66.
It was awesome my family & I Really enjoyed our visit.
Awesome place. Lot of classics and muscle cars
Classic cars, trucks and 50's memorabilia. Owner is very friendly and welcoming. Great experience!
A good place for an rest from Route 66
Loved this place. Looks shabby on exterior. Don't let that fool you. It is immaculate inside. Cars are amazing.
Very cool cars and area
A must stop on your route 66 trip! Lots of cool memorabilia from the heyday and a very interesting, detailed history of the route from conception to present day. Plenty of great photo ops and a very nice gift shop. Highly recommend!
Large building with a variety of restored classics, custom vehicles and hot rods. Also other historical parts and accessories. Beautifully presented and laid out. I really enjoyed my visit.
Nice layout and owners the wife, very pleasant. Will go again.
Awesome...thanks for the tour
I enjoyed my visit immensely! All the beautiful cars and route 66/old timey memorabilia made for some very interesting photos, a wonderful beautiful indoor collection. Many of the restored vintage cars are also for sale, so perfect opportunity if you're a fanatic! Just be sure to be respectful and not touch the cars! (I hovered but I didn't touch!)
Lots of nice cars. The owner was friendly and the gift shop was nice. The whole place was pretty cool. They do charge a small fee but if you love cars it is worth it.
Nice place to stop asking Route 66. Small, but has some interesting cars and displays. Only $5 to enter.
Some 30+ well looked after classic cars and memorabilia. There were also some for sale.
Very adorable spot on Route 66. The woman who worked there was so kind and we had fun talking photos with some of the auto fixtures. The full museum in the back is $5 per person but also everything in the front is free to look at or take pictures of. Could use a bigger souvenir selection but you'll find what you're looking for here!
Superb place.. Must visit on santa rosa route 66 they have an awesome collection of vintage and classic muscle cars... And a 1959 pan head.. Some are for sale too.. Beautifully maintained and staged.. The owner is a fine gentleman and own all the cars.. And he himself restores the card with his crew.. Totally loved it..!!
Not a bad stop, but not great either. It's basically an indoor used car lot with a cover charge. I got the impression they prefer guests from a higher income bracket. I enjoyed looking at the old cars, but most had no information beyond make, model and a price tag.
This is a classic car museum with memories of Santa Rosa being what it used to be in the days. Most everything in there is from when Route 66 made Santa Rosa a live Fun Town. Classic cars and car shows and car races where the thing as I grew up. This is my dad's car that is in this Museum. The Fugitive. Does anybody remember Scotty?
Small charge for entry $5.00. But if you like classic cars well worth the money. Gift area full of route 66 items. Lots of variety of things to see.
Great classic car and memorabilia collection. Only five dollars admission.
Neat street rods and old vehicles. Vast gift shop.
Little pricey for both of my kids and I, but some really good cars in there
Awesome to see antique cars
Great value awesome bunch of cars!
Love the place! Friendly owners. Nice selection of classic cars.
Taste of the past
A fabulous pit stop for a cool drink and in our case an ice cream. There are all sorts historic american autos from the 50s, 60s and 70s along with kit cars and hot rods, a wonderful little stop. Rounded off with Matter at entrance to welcome you.
Really awesome vehicles and low key. Fun to see, lots of old Chevy and gmc.
Awesome ,place, always clean, nice place for shopping ,lots of souveniers and the museum display is amazing. Kool cars ,motorcycles plus lots of other things to view. And best of all museum its free to enter and enjoy,, donations are optional.
Great collection of old cars. Reasonable admission.
Fun way to get to know the route very friendly dtaff
Fun stop on route 66, some really cool old restored cars in the museum. Addmission to the museum is $5.00
Great line up of old cars
Lots of cool memorabilia. Lots of parking. Lots in the gift shop.
Had a great time cool cars and memorabilia
Super cool collection of cars. Very well maintained and loved. Great museum - feels like you are taking a step back in time!
So much fun! Definitely a worth while stop for us. Good variety in a small museum, it kept us totally engaged and entertained.
such a fun place to visit..... great spot to stretch your legs on a cross country trip surfing in/out the vintage Route 66 / I-40 corridor. Playful decor (in addition to all the cars which are amazing to look at). Coming from Detroit and having been to the Detroit Auto Show, Henry Ford Museum and the regional vintage shows (at the Edsel Ford house, and the Woodward Cruise) I gotta say, this place on Route 66 is a gem worth adding to the car enthusiast's must see list. Now, if we can only find the 1969 Camero my husband sold in a fit of poor decision making 30 years ago. ... :(
Nice museum with some really cool cars. And only 5 bucks!
Fabulous collection of cars! Be sure to stop on your route 66 adventure.
Absolutely beautiful car collection! They are located in close proximity to numerous hotels. I myself stayed at the La Quinta and very much so enjoyed my stay. We had broke down on our way home to florida and the mechanics shop across the way recommended we visit the museum. We were not disappointed. The staff were very kind and tentative at the museum as well as the mechanics shop. It seems to me the people in this town still practice common courtesy and old school values, everyone was friendly in this little oasis.
Great experience! Loved it!!
Very cool place! Family owned and family friendly! It doesn't appear to be much from the outside, but once you walk in, it's a pretty cool museum.
Nice little museum. Lots of memorabilia and a fair number of vintage and classic autos. For $5 bucks, you can't go wrong.
Nice folks and some ok old cars. We are spoiled I the amazing car department but it’s a nice place to look at some cool cars. Thanks for the visit.
It does not give you any history of route 66. The artifacts are cool though
A place filled with other peoples memories and arguments.
It had been a while since we had been here, always fascinating cars and stuff to see! The owners were great and enjoyed talking with them.
Cool cars, great gift shop.
Great place to tour.
Really nice collection of custom restored cars and trucks.
Great gift shop too!
This place is really clean and has very nice cars and the people are friendly and they inform you information the owners are very nice
Well kept old cars and some are worth buying.
Very cool cars!
Nice, I liked the old cars, as anyone, some more than others
Much smaller than what I was expecting, no AC had me sweating during my visit. Good sized showroom of vehicles, all of which were in very good shape. A nice cheap walkthrough if you're passing through Santa Rosa.
Best auto museum on 66 so far
Superb collection at a steal of an entrance price. Friendly staff who are great to talk to. Worth a visit while doing the 66
Very nice museum lots of older cars and trucks
Nice place. Has a lot of cars on display and very well stocked gift shop with affordable prices.
The guys had fun
Lots of Automotive history in this building. A must see when in area.
Excellent experience, much more than just cars!
This was an Exciting visit for my car guy. Customer service was top notch. Very clean and really fun to see the variety of cars and old memorabilia. Definitely worth seeing.
Great Museum and store. Very nice cars.
Love the owners
The museum is kind of small but packed with GREAT cars. 8+ hot rod engines. Tons of photos, posters and other interesting stuff. 1
I really liked this place and we even got to check out the owners own garage/workshop witch also had a big car graveyard in the back of it.
My father in law was the whole reason we went to this place and he was disappointed a little by the size of the whole thing. I personally liked it alot because it's not every day you see all of those nice cars. They charge five dollars a person and that's completely fair for a local museum, and if you decide to go I really think you'll be satisfied with the blast from the past because there's not only cars back in there. I'd recommend it.
It’s very cool!
It was ok...nothing to brag about... We ONLY stay there cause we broke down...house keeping was knocking on door at 8:00 a.m
Very nice, great variety, well worth the price
We had a great visit at this museum. There was a great assortment of vehicles and other memorabilia!
Beautiful cars
Great place to visit if you need a break from driving. Kids loved it and there were lots of photo ops. Lots of history and nostalgia in one place!
It is like stepping back in time with all the memorabilia and if you are a car Enthusiast or even if you're not a car Enthusiast you cannot deny the beauty of American Automotive Craftmanship in the Perfection of Classic Automobiles. It is a must stop if you ever get the chance to be in Santa Rosa New Mexico.
Always enjoy visiting the Route 66 Museum. They have both restored cars and trucks, plus unrestored vehicles. Some are even for sale. Nice people that own and run the Museum.
Awesome place to take the kids when in Santa Rosa
Really enjoyed my visit the $5 is a bargain!
Good, but $5 each is a lot
A quick stop, nice small auto museum
This is a really great place. Lots of different era vehicles and even a couple of surprise vehicles.
We stopped in on our way through town and what a great experience! We met the really nice owner, Bozo, who’s been in the car restoration business for 30+ years. Great collection of about 30 vehicles including a 32 five window coupe, a 63 split window Corvette, and Route 66 memorabilia. You have to see the Cabover Chevy!
Nice people, small museum but only $5 to see it.
A few interesting cars but nothing that really stands out. Save the $5 and go to a real museum.
Such fun. Cars from the model T up through the 1960s
Fun place to stop and check out the historical back history cars losts of cool stuff..
Big bunch of stuff for sale. Cars and tourist stuff. Music of 50s and 60s blasting away.
Old cars couple new ones cool collection
Good layout, and lots of interesting cars. Good for a short stop.
Small Car museum but cars are in excellent display condition. Very small entry fee. Enjoyed the historic wall postings almost as much as the cars.
Everytime I pass through Santa Rosa, New Mexico I always plan to stop and visit bthis incredible place! This muesum has such an nostalgic atmosphere, and the family that owns and operates this establishment are down-to-earth.
The cars here are awesome, most of them built by the owner on his on Words
Loved the cars
This place has an amazing vibe, staff and exhibition are great. Would highly recommend this stop on route 66
For a personal collection the diversity was great, from drag cars to street rods and cool custom cars . I would certainly make the stop again. Well worth the $5 entry to help with the upkeep.
Says that they're open but the doors are locked and nobody answers the phone waste of my time
Great place
Definitely a must see while in Santa rosa.
Not worth the $5 admissions. You would be happy to see these cars at a small rural car show. The memorabilia is ok and the giftshop is decent.
Alot of very beautiful cars n items .
They charge to much for a few cars and no air was so hot in there
Five dollar admission to see some vintage cars. So I'd you like old cars, this is well worth it.
Just a quick stop. Would have loved to stay longer.
Nice museum. It is small but hard some nice cars and memorabilia. The gift shop was nice. I was just disappointed that the cafe wasn't open. Maybe it is seasonal.
Great stuff, owner is a friendly guy who's been restoring cars for many years. It's well worth the 5$ admission fee!
cool little car museum. admission is $5. easy on and off from interstate 40. wish they had more motorcycles on display. worth the stop
Little gem off the beaten path. You should always stop and stretch your legs at these places. They are fast disappearing from our highways
Lots of nice cars (some of which are for sale), friendly staff. Worth the detour if you're in the area!
Beautiful vintage cars.
Very interesting if you appreciate old cars that have been semi restored. $3 entry fee well worth it.
Very good collection of cars that once roamed Route 66. Worth a visit.
Pretty cool, had some nice cars. Loved the 56 Caddie. Nice stop on Rt. 66
Very nice place to visit with about 30 fantastic cars to see (some are on sale too!!). Some more on the exterior. Souvenirs and drinks available. For 5$ it's a must too see.
Loved seeing Mitch s Auburn.
This is a really great spot to get out of the car for a stretch and enjoy the nostalgia. Very inclusive collection of a wide variety of delightful classics.
Very cool if you want to see some really cool cars and memorabilia.
They have an awesome collections. Some of it are for sale.
A great short stop on Route 66 with some brilliant cars.
Great museum love all the vehicles. Definitely need to stop here.
Not what I was expecting. Thought it was bigger than it actually was. I don't feel it was worth the money charged to view the cars. Way over priced.
Cars and other historic stuff. We had fun taking a break from the road trip and going thru this place.
Fun and informative. $5.00 gets you into view about 14 buildings full of history. Neat and kept up well. Biggest route 66 sign in the nation out front
I enjoyed my time looking at old cars. It was only 5 dollars and will worth every penny.
Excellent place to spend an hour or two. small place but nice displays
Cool small car musuem. Wouldn't go again but it was for sure a great pit stop on my trip.
Friendly staff, great walk down memory lane or history lesson-loved the phone booth!
Neat place if you like cars- if not, I don't know if the price of admission is worth it. The collection isn't hige or full of one off rarities, but what they do have are well kept examples of iconic cars that used to roam the Mother Road with regularity. The gift shop is kitschy but not all that expensive for being on the Route. Make sure to take a picture with the big mural painted on the side of the building! It photographs rather well.
An enjoyable stop and the folks are friendly. It's free to see the displays but the classic car museum charges money. The displays are great for photo ops, free, but the wife will spend too much in the store.
A must see for 66. A lot of photos and a few exhibits. Worth the stop. There are about 30 cars, some for sale. Some neat 3 windows and molars. $5 is all it costs
Absolutely stunning exposition! Very nice People and definitely this place has a soul <3
Very friendly staff. It is a small museum but worth the visit.
Liked all the Old cars. Got my kicks on route 66.
Cool collection
Cool place
For a $5 entry fee this place is a great little stop. Well, if you love cars! We enjoyed the great detail of all the restored cars here. Good gift shop full of route 66 memorbila, 50s and beyond. Small snacks, sodas also sold.
