Great museum. One of the few places in the country that shows only wildlife art.

Great little museum dedicated to exhibiting wildlife art. The paintings and sculpture are world class. They wildlife shown runs from cute and adorable to magnificent. WARNING: Even when it's open they lock their front door. So it looks like it's closed. YOU HAVE TO RING THE DOORBELL. THEN THEY WILL COME AND OPEN THE FOR FOR YOU

I've passed the Blauvelt every sunday for years! I didn't pay mind to the museum because the sign is hard to see... Anyway i always wanted to visit and went for my first time only last summer. It was soo cool!! I plan on taking a youth group there this fall. The work is amazing and always changing!

I have driven by this place many times and finally stopped in - what a little jewel of a place! I neglected to get the name of the lady who showed us around but she was very pleasant. It's free to get in, the art is quite good and the history is interesting. We just missed one of the temporary exhibits but well worth a visit even for just the permanent display

There were beautiful paintings and sculptures some amazing. Diane was nice enough to show us the taxidermy area on second floor. Very nice lady. My young niece and nephew loved it !!! Will be back in September.

If you love art & wildlife, this is a perfect marriage. You could spend a couple hours here. So inspiring! The talent on display is nothing short of amazing.
