This place is amazing. Hands on, very fun. Gets very busy on weekend afternoons. Great place to bring a little one to really connect and play with. Our family's roots run deep here :)

It is a big indoor playground, which is great but please enforce your no shoes in the play areas, there are babies/toddlers crawling everywhere and you should have hand sanitizers in each room. The fever my son has and nasty cough in less than 24 hours of being there is concerning. ....I would not go back.

It's not a museum no real educational things just a big play space for imaginative play. Adults should be free in my opinion. The rooms are so busy with decorations and things. Our 2 and 5 yr old did play and we made the best of it but wouldn't recommend it if you were just visiting the area like us.

To call this a museum, is an insult to other museums. This is an indoor playground that is targeted for very young kids - toddlers mostly. It's fine when the weather is unruly, but overall it feels cheap and very basic.

Great place to go on hot summer days for the kids to play and cold winter days to stay warm and play. The workers are fun and friendly.

Overall it looks small but a lot is crammed inside. Multiple theme rooms and a basement adds to the fun. When a field trip is present or a crowd it can get hectic and jumbled. But for the price not too bad, note that it is one price for everyone over 1 year old.

This place is wonderful for young kids, and ridiculously cute and pleasant inside. The outside of the building looks unappealing with chipped paint in an old mini-mall but definitely go in! it's really nice inside.

The ladies running this community outreach program and museum are amazing. They were helpful and kind. But what was even better was my sons experience with all the different themed rooms. Cant wait to visit again!

Great place for kids 6 and under. Lots of things for them to do. The reason for the 1 star is due to how a staff member handled a nursing mother. Here's what happened. A 10 month old little girl fell and hit her head. (She was fine just scared) the baby wanted to nurse for comfort so the mother discreetly started to nurse her without a cover. She was completely covered, you were not able to see anything. The women from the front desk started hovering and asked if she wanted a cover. The women politely said no thank and continued on. The front desk women walked away and came back and put a recieving blanket on her shoulder and said "you don't want any creepy men looking at you" and then continued to justify why the mother should cover up. I don't take offence to much, but as a mother of 3 and a mother that nursed all 3, I thought it was appalling that this staff member would not leave this women along and made her uncomfortable as well as myself. This is a family friendly place built for children, a mother who needs to either comfort her child or feed her child should never be made to feel like it is wrong. Great space and activities but the staff needs to be trained on how to handle situations like this.

What an outstanding resource for North Conway and the Mt. Washington valley. We took our daughter here while on vacation and she absolutely loved it. There were so many different rooms for kids to explore and the staff really gave it there all to ensure a good time was had by all.

Excellent place for children! Has lots of fun activities - trains, an animal hospital, pizza kitchen, treehouse, sandboxes, and more. Inexpensive way to waste a few hours keeping the kids busy.

My 2 year old absolutely loves the Children's Museum. The staff is always nice and my son never runs out of things to do! It's really great for when he needs a change of scenery.

Brought my almost 1 year old here for our first time and it was great! From the outside I wasn't so sure, but inside was amazing. Paintings all over the walls, so many different themed rooms that seemed to just go on and on and on. Then there's this really cool room downstairs with glow in the dark paint and lights with the solar system painted all along the walls. I didn't get the family membership this time, but I definitely will be soon! Oh, and the woman working there was so friendly and sweet it was really comfortable I'd highly recommend any kid from 8 months old to about 10, especially if they play well with little ones!

Second trip here and they loved it just as much as last year. Love their no cell phone policy (other than pictures) sad that parents need to be reminded to play with their own kids but lots of fun if you are willing to get in on the play time!

Wonderful place for children! We've been there over 10 times and still have new stuff to explore! My 5 year old is askinge to take him to the museum everyday! Even if you are visiting, ask about the yearly membership, it could save you some $$.

Was this a museum? No. This was a very dirty play space for kids under 5. My 2-year-old did have a good time, but later that day we heard from a local Mom that she “stopped taking her kids there because they got sick every time they visited.” Sure enough, we ended our vacation with a fever of 104 for 3 days. We will definitely not return.

Great rainy day boredom buster!!!! We arrived at opening to a line, so be prepared. A greeter was at the door, cheerful and counting each person entering. Each room held more activities and things to explore. - Under the sea, princesses, dinosaurs, trains, a restarunt, a veterinarian office just to name a few. Everything was in good repair and clean - activity sets had all the pieces to play! Our 2.5 year olds were kept busy for almost 2 hours and could have stayed longer! Even as crowded as it was there was plenty to do and see. Extremely clean, friendly staff and military families are free!

We really enjoy the children's museum. The membership isn't very expensive and it helps support the local community. There are lots of really fun toys and imaginative play areas too. It can get a little busy when the weather is poor, but it's spread out enough not to be too crowded. I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

A great place to take your littlest of littles when your camping trip gets rained out. 2 floors with many rooms full of toys and activities. It was REALLY crowded when we went and cost was $7.50/pp. Worth going to avoid the soggy outdoors.

We were very happy to find this place. Our 18 month old had so much fun. There's a lot of thought that goes into this place. The themes are wonderfully put together with the toys to go along with them. This is a great place for children to play and use their imaginations. We were only going to do the day passes due to living over an hour away but left with a membership. Our little one had so much fun the over an hour drive will be well worth it.

We could have spent all day here if the kids didn't need naps! Went in the morning while waiting for the water park to open and both kids (11 months and 2 years) loved everything there...don't miss the downstairs! (You won't because the staff is super friendly and helpful!)

Grandson had blast here. A multitude of themed rooms. They can play with toys or dress up and become whoever their imaginations lead them to be. Family membership is $60.00 for a year and allows up to six people to be on the membership. I struggle to consider this a museum. My definition would be an educational system with the ability to role play and utilize young children's imaginations. If this sounds boring to kids just tell them it's a great place to have fun. Both descriptions are correct. Building has a basement with several educational displays and play areas. Building has air conditioning for hot summer days. Probably for children 10 and younger.

From the outside you would not expect a very big museum, but this place has tons of space and lots of different themed rooms. An excellent place to spend time with little kids and encourage their imagination! Lots of information on the walls about play and how it is good for children.

Very fun place to take the kids. Reasonably priced. Only downside was a staff member running around yelling at parents with phones out. Parents like to take pictures of their kids and this lady was very rude to a father with his child. Executive Director addresses public comment and seems to work really hard to make it a great place to visit with your children!

I have been taking my children to the MWV Children's Museum since they were very young and they LOVE it! We have seen the museum grow tremendously. At $7.50 per person age one and up it is a great deal but the family membership is even better. $50 for a family for a year to visit. AWESOME!

I did not actually get to go to the museum...showed up on a rainy day to find they were at capacity and the wait was over 30 minutes. Also it is difficult to find...it is in the plaza with stan and Dan sports and the sign is hard to read.

This place is awesome! My 14 month old had so much fun and will for years to come! Very clean and the staff was super friendly. There is so much going on in this two story museum. A train room, a kitchen,a climbing tree,multiple sand boxes and so much more! We will be coming here a lot to beat the cabin fever this winter!
