REVIEWS OF The Mob Museum IN Nevada

Isaac Walraven

Awesome place to go while in Vegas!! Did the premium special and picked the shooting which was different but fun. Also picked the underground tour which was awesome. Got there at 2pm didn’t leave til 6pm. So much information. Great time for the family.

Cole Abel

The Mob Museum was amazing! I was really looking forward to visiting during my trip to Vegas recently, and the Mob Museum did not disappoint, in fact, I’d say it far exceeded expectations! The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Eric January

Very well organized and a great experience. I have heard of this place for many years and decided we should go during our last Vegas trip. Worth every penny, but also look for discounts on line. Your last stop has to be the Prohibition bar in the basement for a nightcap.

David Niedrauer

I could have spent all day there. A lot of good info and well presented. I especially liked the law enforcement live simulations. Also the speakeasy downstairs is a nice touch. Order the old fashioned.

Hedrick Jennifer

Omg, real moonshine y'all!! The jalapeno and "fireball" kinds had me shuffling through the whole three floors. The museum was great, with lots of photo ops and great information, wouldn't bring young children (under 14) because of the graphic nature, it's the MOB but everyone in our group of 8 ages 19- 65+ had a great time.

Crystal McLaughlin

Extremely well done!! Beautiful building, interactive, and informative displays. I highly reccomend asking Frank for a story or two if you run into him!

Darci Laurance

I had a BLAST! I learned so much about how Las Vegas became LAS VEGAS. The staff was great too. I'm telling everyone I know to come here. I'll be back too. Thank you for your hospitality :)

Debra Wheeler

Great history of the mob and how it influenced society back in the day. Absolutely worth the stop and the "experiences" they offer for an additional fee we had so much fun and very exciting to do! From teenage to retired we all throughly enjoyed the museum. Take your time, read transcripts in the handwriting of the accused. Listen to actual audio of string operations and hear the voices of the men who helped shape Las Vegas in the early days. I highly recommend!

Mecha Ash

I've been to the Mob Museum twice now and I plan to go back in the future. There is so much to see and most of it is self guided so you can easily spend 3-4 hours walking around and looking at things. Some stuff is interactive, they have scheduled presentations, and some areas have videos on loop. I can't recommend this place enough!

Taylor Bargmann

Very interesting. My great uncle was Eugene Bulgarino so it was a mission to make it to the mob museum to check it all out and learn some history.

Robert Rottiers

Great tour and very interesting history! Recommend the distillery tour and the gun Simulation For a adrenaline rush and what would you do moment?!!

Casey Arce

Had a great time! So much to learn and take in. I recommend it to anyone who visits Las Vegas

Joshua Haveman

The Mob museum is an excellent window into organized crime in America, with an appropriate emphasis on Las Vegas. Friendly staff and an organized process guide you throughout the museum. You begin with the development and expansion of organized crime via a chronological path that takes you to varied, and informative exhibits. There are interesting photos, audio clips, and even interactive stations where visitors can experience the work of law enforcement officers tasked with taking down the Mob. I wouldn't suggest the museum to those with young children, but for those ten and above the museum can be an amazing experience for the whole family.

Sugar Pop

If you have half a day to spare definitely go here. This is for the premier package. Get to choose 2 from distillery, crime lab and firearms. Parking is $7 for 4 hours but the parking attendant said we can stay parked until 6pm even though says 4 hours. We didnt stay that long. If you get hungry highly recommend walking 2 blocks to nacho daddy. Awesome food including vegan options

Eric Shepard

It was okay. Not much here. Lots of walls with just writing in little picture frame bubbles. Not many actual things here like a traditional museum would typically have. People here were very nice and knowledgeable

Lucy Gr

Very informative, staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoyable reading about the mob life. Be prepared for lots of reading.

Dawn DiRito

What a fun museum! Interactive, lots of info, and a great speakeasy in the basement. Beautiful old building.

Amanda Sloan

This place is great. You have to visit the Speakeasy downstairs. The time period authentic drinks are amazing!

Alannah Flinn

My wife, sisters, and I decided to check out the Mob Museum and we all really enjoyed it. We met some really awesome staff members and the exhibits were very well done. The entire museum was full of amazing pictures, information, artifacts, and video. There's several floors to explore including a fun speak easy in the basement. I felt like I learned alot about The Mob and got a better understanding of how Vegas became the Vegas of today. The only thing that made this experience 4 stars instead of 5 stars was the disturbance of a private tour. I understand they offer private group tours but it put a damper on our experience. My family and I were looking at artifacts in a room with other families that weren't part of the group when the private tour entered the room with us. The tour guide was loud and bullied his way through the exhibits even if we were looking at them. At one point he brought his group in front of an exhibit my sister and I were looking at and said "If you look through the girls, you will see pictures of the flamingo hotel." It made us uncomfortable and we felt rushed to get out of the groups way.

Sarah Marrinan

Lots of information! Great activities and historical accounts. Good thing kids are free because adult tickets are expensive. ($80+ for 2 people) To me it felt like a timeline was missing... It was hard for me to keep the pieces together. Would be great if they would add a timeline somewhere in the exhibit stitching things together from the first historical recordings until present day.

Cassandra K

Fantastic. Really enjoyed all the history and facts. The Speakeasy was really fun and enjoyed the band!

Darren McLeod

Our group went on the Moonshine tour and would highly recommend it. Some great drink options down in the speakeasy as well!

Gage Dupuy

We did the moonshiners tour thing, that was pretty cool, the shots were very interesting. The museum is huge and has a lot of neat exhibits. Expect to spend 3 hours here.

Heather Percival

This place was very interesting. It helps you learn a ton about the history of the Mob. I have always been very fascinated with the Mob so that is why we chose to go visit here. We did the distillery tour add on and it was interesting and very tasty.

Lisanne A

Interesting and ducational but still fun. Plenty of things to look at and the extra experiences looked fun, wish I'd had more time there. Capped it off nicely with the speakeasy.

Nicole Follins

This museum gets crowded so get there early. The museum had a very informative layout of the Mob History and how Vegas was built upon it. You truly can get lost in this museum so I recommend setting aside 2-3 hours to tour.

Deloris Reed

Really interesting if you're a history buff. Wish I had more time to explore. Staff was a great help and very courteous.

James Wright

Great place to learn about the wonders of Las Vegas. By going here you will experience all of the mob culture of Vegas and other areas. You'll also learn about the courtroom and what went on inside. There's so much information in this mom museum the spending only an hour or two hours is not enough to experience everything that this place has to offer. So make sure that you put enough time in your day if you really want to suck up all information you can get. There's so much here to learn and experience that you will have an information overload by the end of the day.

Marine De Cara

Great. You learn so much about the mob and also LV. Interactive, great staff. You can spend your day there. You get a bracelet as you get in so you can go and come back during the same day. A lot of activities such as crime lab and investigation offered as well. Brilliant

Jordan Cocks

AMAZING. Three full floors of very interesting mob stuff. The exhibits are very fun. We did the interactive gun training and has a blast. Staff very friendly. They also have a forensics lab to play with. The best part of the experience was the speakeasy on the lower floor. Secret rooms, great atmosphere and the drinks are of the era (some served in fake books that you pour yourself). Also they have a moonshine tour as well. Will be back!

Geri Velasquez

Enjoyed visiting the museum, lots of great archives and stories. Tried the homemade cinnamon moonshine, it was great!

Sean Riordan

Fantastic and fun museum. The firearms simulation was fascinating and fun in an odd way. The basement speakeasy was nice though more hidden rooms where you could have seating seems like a no brainers to add. The museum itself was exceptionally well done. Well worth the visit and the parking hassle.

TAMMY DEFRANG

I thought it was worth the trip. If you like history it was very educational

Allison Rossi

Now this is my kinda museum! The Mob Museum was probably one of the nicest that I've been to. Extremely clean, extremely nice/helpful employees, and a very cool theme. They used several different formats to show off information from photos to videos to quotes and actual recording playbacks. WARNING: This museum DOES include graphic photos of murder victims. I would not recommend bringing smaller kids here, as it's a lot to process even as an adult. There are photos of people who have been shot in the face along with everywhere else. Kids or squeamish people should go at their own risk. Distillery tour: Definitely worth going to - the woman who gave us background on everything was so nice and endearing. She had a lot of info to give us, and several samples to share! BONUS: There's a speakeasy right next to the distillery area, and the drinks are awesome. Definitely worth going to if you're 21+.

Robert Piotrowski

Very well laid out and in-depth experience! Had a few drinks and kicked back in the new speakeasy which is a well done prohibition theme. The charcuterie was great.

Andy Topley

I was so excited to visit this place and I wasn't let down. Absolutely superb. If you're interested in the Mafia then don't miss this.

Andrew Waldroup

There mob museum is a great way to learn about some fascinating portions of American history. The history and the detail provided in the exhibits are great. You get to learn about both the mob and organized crime in general but also it's involvement in the creation of Vegas as it is now. After your visit to the museum you have a great opportunity to explore the rest of Fremont Street since you're in the area already.

Julian Martinez

Was super cool... ice to be able and go at your own place looking and reading all the information they have there. 3 floors of great mob history. The store had some cool stuff in it. Staff was super helpful..just a little pricey..$27 per person...but if you dont mind that you will enjoy your time at the mob museum

Toni Stout, LLC - Broker Associate/Realtor

Highly recommend. You can spend hours here learning about Las Vegas and the mob. Try to go every year because they change it around. The have a speakeasy in the basement that is great also.

Jeff Lenglet

Meh. Building is cool but I used to come here for free when it was a post office. Mostly pictures on walls. Let in waaaaay to many people at once. Video clips from casino with a voice over...weak. same with the A&E clip. Nothing here you cant see online for free. Unless you are interested in the building. Nothing new and frankly lacking substance. Tourist trap.

Elaina Mcreynolds

Excellent museum. Great use of videos. Kept my attention. Not for little ones. Gangsters are criminals. Speakeasy in bottom floor. Overall a must visit for those going to Las Vegas.

Brandon W

Great place if you're interested in mafia history. The distillery/speakeasy in the basement is awesome and they make a really good old fashioned. Highly recommend trying it.

Craig Johnston

Great place. Very interesting. Lots of reading. Was expecting more artifacts, but what was there was great. Did the Use of Force training and it was pretty good. Definitely a fun thing to do/see if you're downtown. Plan on spending a good 2-3 hours.

Gert Schweim

Very interesting and lots of information. We spent approximately 4 hours there. Should have allowed more time.

Patrick Audley

This was truly surprising treat. Allow yourself a few hours to take this and make sure you take time to chat with the volunteers, some had amazing stories.

Isis Lovett

Anything Mob related this is the place to go! The fact that it’s in Old Las Vegas makes it so much more cooler! Your surrounded by historical sites and buildings as soon as you start!

Cody Koeppen

The Mob Museum was very educational. If you have any interest at all in the subject matter, you'll likely be very entertained by the vast amount of information available here. The museum isn't far from Fremont Street, so it's no hassle to walk over. For two general admission tickets (with no add-ons), we paid less than $60 and spent about two hours in the museum, so you get a good amount of value for your money. I'd definitely recommend this attraction, but it's probably not something I'll do more than once.

Kranthi Muthavarapu

Worth visiting once if you are interested in learning about gangsters, need to have some patience for lots of reading. 15$ for locals. Has 3 floors and a underground. 3rd floor has artefacts and history about gangs birth. 2nd has how it evolved. First has how it ended.

Rebecca M

Fun place to go but it's on the expensive side. I do recommend trying the police shooting experience. It was fun. I didn't mind the price due to the NV resident discount. Not sure I would be as happy paying full price. I would go agian.

bhudda lee

The Mob Museum is in interactively themed living documentary of Mafia history. Complete with actual guns and paraphernalia used in that day. They also offer an Interactive shoot or don't shoot scenario for those who want a more realistic experience.

Krystal W

How is this not on the list of America's best museums or at least most fun??Easily the most interactive museum I've ever been to. There's no way you won't be excited to learn once you step inside and great place for pics. I love the Strip but this place is worth the detour and every cent. Please just do the excursion activity at the end (any of the 3). The guide for the Police Officer experience was a retired officer from LA. He was wonderful and made it feel real! DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT

Roman Rzadkosz

Very interesting place and many thinks to learn about underground world or the justice department. Many original items that belongs to mafia peoples. Definitely worth to see it !!

Michael Palecek

A very good museum dedicated to the mob. The exhibits were well put together and really enjoyed the few hours we spent roaming the halls. If you are a fan of museums this is a must do while in Vegas.

Eric

Great place if you like history. If you have a day to spend in Vegas, spend it here! I think you could spend an entire day here looking/watching and learning.

Harry Mackenzie

A great history of organized rackets with particular focus on their role in Las Vegas. Would definitely recommend visiting.

Natalie Rae Spittell

This was my fourth visit to this museum over the span of several years and it seems as though they add more information each year. The staff is always friendly, inviting, and informative. Also very supportive as they keep an eye out for people having a hard time with the content (there is a graphic section that can be skipped). Just as the Valley has adapted over time to entertain tourists, the museum has adapted to make a dynamic learning environment about the history behind organized crime. They have also tied the information to current day information.

Dave

Go early or it gets packed but still a great place to go hangout and learn about the mob and Vegas. Also a great place to get out of the heat for awhile.

Amber Morris

If you are here for a tour you should give yourself a plenty of time here to truly enjoy the old Vegas history. This is a must see and definitely worth a trip. Visitors will learn so much about the mob and Las Vegas.

Baylor Fairman

As a Las Vegas local, it's very difficult to impress me when it comes to Vegas attractions, museums and rides. "Been there, done that, not impressed" is typically my take. Not with the Mob Museum. HOLY COW this place is cool! I worked with Rodney Arnett, the Sales Manager at the museum, and he put together an amazing experience for me and my family! His communication throughout the planning process was second to none. The moment I entered the museum, I was greeted by smiling workers and people eager to help me. The artifacts are really impressive and there is so much information on every single aspect of the mob. It's interactive, informative and an all around AMAZING venue. The speak easy bar is absolutely the coolest bar with the best drinks I have ever had. I am kicking myself for not remembering our bartender's name, because he deserved a major shout out, but he (sharp dressed Asian gentlemen) was awesome as well. I will be referring the Mob Museum to everyone I come in contact with and all my friends/family who visit in the future. Hats off to an amazing experience. DON'T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY the next time you're in Vegas!

Robin Perez

Super fun. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff which made the visit great. It's three stories and the basement of facts history displays. We did the crime lab experience which was only $12 a person and very worth it lot of fun. Distillery and speak easier at the bottom which have some food snacks and alcoholic drinks. Elevators make easy access so don't worry about that if you are handicapped or have a person that is. Parking on site is free and very close.

Sonny S

One of my all time favorite places in Vegas. The people who work and volunteer here are knowledgeable and friendly. The layout of the museum provides enough information and relics without compromising the original structure of the building (which is the first courthouse of Las Vegas). I have been here 4 times and it never gets old.

J.D. Warren

Very interesting! The courtroom held a lot of history and the gentleman that explained the history of the courtroom was great! However, you can only see so many pics of shot up bodies before it starts to affect your day. Overall, it was fascinating.

Linda Gunter

They have created an excellent museum about the beginnings of the mob in the US and how Las Vegas played a part. As a former history teacher, I was impressed with the information and how it was presented. Hearings were held around the country about the mob and one happened in a courtroom right here in this former courthouse building. Don't miss the connection with the assassination of JFK or the old slot machines. This is a great place to go for history buffs. You will find a parking lot next door which charges a flat $7.00 fee.

Eric Cox

This was such a fun and educational experience! Even the building the museum is located in is an actual former federal building where the Las Vegas mob was questioned. Also whether it is getting finger printed in the crime lab, completing the hands on firearm training simulator, or just taking in the history of the mob this is definitely a must see in Las Vegas.

Itai Dagan

We visited the museum and also had the tour at the distillery. The tour at the distillery was flawless, a short talk that told us all we needed to know about illegal booze-making during the prohibition (Michael was an amazing speaker, friendly and knowledgeable) and we got to taste three types of drinks that they are making there. The museum itself - a bit disappointing. There was plenty to see, for sure, but the explanations were lacking, skipping over time periods, failed to explain the precursors and aftermaths of certain events and only focused on a cool artifact or story. There were a million plaques to read, but no over-arching narrative to tie it all together.

Michelle Mendelson

Wow! So much to see and learn! They made it a lot of fun! Love the building. I love historic old Vegas and there's so much here. Photos are amazing. You'll need a lot of time! We conquered the third floor and plan on going back to see the rest. Super discount if your local! Lots to see and experience!

Debra Robinson

Impressed at the effort to stagger traffic flow to maintain the most comfortable experience. Comprehensive collection, well displayed, small theater areas are great. The gift shop is awesome.

Adam Smith

It's fun and interesting look into the history of the mob. Well worth it

Dalyn Tardy

Nothing was spared in detail or beauty. The museum itself is just beautiful. Five floors of actual museum, one super duper cool underground bar. The extensive effort put into the interactive exhibits, the pieces on display, the "activities", the information itself, even the bathrooms, all of the actual physical portion of the museum itself (a revived ancient courthouse) is a wonder.

Lawrence Fisher

We went there the museum was great. But we did 2 other venues the CSI lab and the Firearms simulators they were fantastic highly recommend them. Also don't forget the Speak Easy in the basement great drinks with moonshine.

Bryan Meech

This was a good place to tour and learn more about what you may not have known about the mob. There is a lot of reading though, so if you want to really experience the place, make sure you plan a decent amount of time spent there. I wanted to take in a bit more, but the person I was with wasn't too interested in all of the exhibits.

Dena Piña

Had a drink downstairs at the bar. Cool atmosphere. Cant wait to go back and look through the museum.

Terrell Carey

There is a lot of information to unpack here. We enjoyed it a lot. Just wish we had to spend more time to see the exhibits. You can move at your own pace. We just had to leave to catch a show we had already booked. The speakeasy bar downstairs is amazing. Moonshine was awesome and I had about the smoothest old-fashioned ever down there.

Scott Flynn

Really cool for a small private museum. It was mostly old school gangster history which was super interesting. Great for Scorsese fans. We were there for hours. A little pricey though but understandably so.

Will Johnson

It was so neat that we were in a building where the mobsters were questioned and held. This was one of the most interesting museums I've toured in a long time. The flow was great. I will come back.

Laurel Turner

This is a must do in Vegas. I heard about it on a YouTube video and decided on my trip I was going to go. So cool and so much to see and learn about. Best museum like this I've been too.

Mallika Shankar

A day is not enough. Don’t forget to buy stuff and take pictures. Some of the incidents mentioned will haunt you. I was skeptical at first but the time spent four hours is worth every penny

Linda Baumgartner

Lots of history and details. Good videos too. The crime lab was extra but totally worth it...answered many questions I’ve had after watching crime shows on TV. Enjoyed the Speakeasy after too.

Brian Reilly

Well worth a visit. Allow ample time to explore this fascinating museum. Very enjoyable.

Angela Marrali

Love love loved this place! There is so much to read, do and learn! You could spend an entire day here and never once get bored. Reasonably priced and worth every penny! Add on one of the experiences to your day pass. We did the interactive shooting scenario and it was great! 4 floors of nothing but extremely interesting history! A must do when visiting Vegas! The gift shop is pretty awesome too! Be sure to check it out!

Ro Roberson

We were so impressed with this Museum. Great exhibits and informative. Well worth the trip to see. FYI... park across the street...visit a casino and get parking validated. Btw....far better than the (fake) Natural History Museum we visited the same day. UNFORTUNATELY that was a waste of time.

Timothy C Platt, MSM

Nice museum, but pricey. The Mob Museum offers a good overview of the origins and growth of organized crime in America, and it's connections to world affairs. Nevertheless, it is not for everyone. It is cost prohibitive to many Las Vegas visitors, not unlike the Mob activities that it presents. And, families should consider the violence portrayed in actual historic photos before taking younger children inside.

Nate Hills

Great museum with a great selection of history. The gift shop was awesome and the speakeasy was mind blowing. Had a young man mix my wife and I a drink that he created and we dubbed "fresh October". We dont drink but wanted to say we had one drink in Vegas, and it was incredible. Loved it.

Marie Faw

Fun place to spend a couple of hours. Interesting g speakeasy with some different and interesting libations.

Snow QQ

Had a guide for the tour and it was very interesting and I enjoyed the visit. If you're interested in organized crime then you should go. There are also interactive exhibits if you upgrade your experience.

VonShelia Starks

I loved the Mob Museum. Next time I am in town I plan on going back. This place has so much interesting information you need more than a few hours to appreciate the experience. The music was amazing. I would purchase the soundtrack if it was available. If you are in Vegas you must go to the Mob Museum. You won't be disappointed.

Christina Ridgeway

Great place to visit. Plan 3-4 hours. Lots of reading although there is an audio tour but I don't think you need it. Lots of little movies. Soooooo many artifacts and stories. Very well laid out! Staff stays on top of what's happening and helps guide you through. An amazing place and definitely worth the entrance fee. Self guided so you can go at your own pace. A must see.

Jenine C.

I love it. Adults like it more than kids. Alot of reading as expected for all the displays. I love reading facts and history ( not to great at remembering

T L

we only hit the speakeasy, but what little I saw of the museum looks fantastic! So fun! Great Old Fashions... Fun entertainment, too! If you look closely there is a secret room behind that picture ;) you're welcome!

Linda James

Gotta go. My maiden lady name is Siegel. I wonder if I'm related to Bugsey? Was really cool experience.

Kiznasty

Place is incredible. Highly recommend you check out the hidden speakeasy downstairs. Follow them on social media for the weekly password and walk around to the South side of the building and ring the doorbell. The rest is a magical journey back in time.

Chelsea McDougall

It was very unique. Lots of information. The speakeasy in the basement is really cool. I recommend the moonshine tasting.

Jim Bagley

This museum explores one of the seamier sides of American history appropriately in Las Vegas. It deals with the reality of murderious violence and criminal Mayhem in a very candid way. Very well done as a museum located in a former federal courthouse were organized crime was prosecuted. They offer a ticket package with the nearby neon sign museum. I recommend doing both. You can go to the mob Museum in the afternoon and see the neon signs after dark.

Jim Blackwell

Great surprise. Took friends from out of town and we had a blast. Basement speakeasy was fun.

Sergio Zapien

Very informative! Expect to spend a lot of time here if you really want to dig deep into it's content. The staff is friendly and welcoming! You start on the 3rd floor and make your way thru each floor until you get to the basement. Again, it's a lot to take in!! Loads of reading but very intriguing material! The wristbands allow for in and out entry for the entire day - big plus.

Neil Hoskins

If you're interested in anything and everything Mafia related, you HAVE to go here. Great story telling, really interesting exhibits and a great shop for souvenirs. My favourite museum!

Dean McPherson

A lot of information to take in but very exciting very informative the staff there is more than willing to help you

Michael Hicklen

This was awesome. I was floored by all of the history that was in this place. A must see

Phil Citta

We got thrown out the the commonwealth speakeasy because I used my phone trying to locate my son. Seriously. We went here instead. Atmosphere was far superior, service was much better, prices were cheaper, drinks were better, and you could use your phone! Great place to hang out. Well done.

Owlene

I love the place and there's even family history for me there. Especially with the Saint Valentine Massacre wall. Is when that even happen one of my grandparents was not more than a block away. I love all the history of there and it certainly is fascinating. Highly recommend not only for sensors but for locals. Just make sure that you have time to truly enjoy it and look at all the exhibits in history behind them.

Laura McKay

Recently read about this museum in a travel trade publication. So when we decided to stop over in Las Vegas, we went. It is a very well done museum and worth the visit.

Daniel Suarez

This Museum is semi interactive place. Great to go and find out how the gangster life started in Las Vegas and the rest of the country also I would recommend to get one of the experience at least, we did two of them, because one is not for kids, there were great. We have a great time and we spend about 2 hours between the three floors, the other floor is The Distillery and because my kids are minors we couldn't go. I would recommend anybody who cometo Vegas to go there

Sam Bartleman

Incredibly detailed and informative museum. Probably the best museum in Vegas. They don’t hold back any grisly details. Very interesting trip through Vegas history and the history of organized crime in America. Parking is easy here and expect to spend 3-4 hours to see it all.

Dorian Graham

Last time I was in Vegas I did the mob tour which goes well inconjunction with the mob museum. This place is incredible! Even though my interest in mobs is minimal, I really enjoyed this museum thoroughly! There are 3 floors of information, photos, exhibits and interactive activities. You do need at least 2-3 hours to really be able to get the full experience. They old style Speak Easy in the basement is functional for entertainment and drinks. They also provide distillery tours and tastings of moonshine from back in the day.The tour starts in the basement where the Speak Easy is. My recommendation is to go from there to the 3rd floor and work your way down to the 2nd and 1st floors. That way you experience it in chronological order. The investigation lab & shooting activities costs extra, $12 each per person. You also have an opportunity to do a lineup mug shot, available for purchase.

Kamatha Crockett

Wow! Did you know that the Mob still has it's hands in the political pool today! The unnecessary knowledge that you receive during this visit, you will definitely be want to share! This is really neat! Make sure to get a drink in the basement!

Hailey Buckner

Super cool very accurate and fascinating to learn and see all the history behined how all the casinos and things were started

Lisa Koehler

This is a must see! The whole place is great! Staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. No one should go to Vegas and not see this museum! The speakeasy was awesome! We had a couple drinks and watched the bartenders do their thing making all the drinks for everyone. So cool to watch! They give you a little moonshine from their on premise still. It's got a buttery flavor! So good! I had an Old Fashioned which was very good but after watching them make more drinks I would have loved to try the Southside or the Bathtub Fizz (it comes in a cute bathtub) but I had to be able to walk! They don't skimp on the ETOH when making a drink! These guys are artists! The museum was 3 floors and the speakeasy is in the basement. It's in the old courthouse which is cool to see! Give yourself plenty of time to go through! At least 3 hours. They even have a CSI interactive exhibit and a gun training exhibit that cost a little more but well worth it!

Paul Betterton

Took friends, not sure they would like it as much as I do...they loved it, all had a good time!!

Greg Szucs

If you like anything to do with the mafia history or old mob stories this is definitely a worthwhile thing to do while in Vegas. One thing I personally found incredible and couldnt believes I was looking at it with my own eyes, was a large piece of wall from the St. Valentine's day massacre was actually in the museum. Almost gave you chills just seeing such an amazing artifact. Go check this place out

Ricardo Giron15

Place was great, had a very welcoming staff and they were very informative as well. Parking is $7 so prepare to pay that if you're parking close. The museum will take you around 2-3 hrs to go through depending on how long you look at things and how many videos you choose to stay and watch. Get a lot of information about Las Vegas too as a city and learn a lot about mafia/mob life. Check it out!

J Earl

The Mod Museum surpassed my expectations. It is in a lovely restored building in downtown Vegas. The exhibits are very tasteful and interesting. I wouldn't recommend taking kids here given the nature theme but it is perfect for anyone else.

Carina K

This place is AMAZING! It's so well organized, making it easy to follow the development of the mafia and related crime fighting organizations over time. Plenty of pictures and videos. There's so much information that after a while I stopped reading every sign - normally I read as much as I can in a museum - just picking the displays that were intriguing, and still I walked away with my brain bursting. The museum is very interactive. I loved standing in the vault lined with pretend money, looking into the closet which showed jackets with extra pockets and bags with false bottoms (ways that the mob members secretly transported skimmed money). I played poker trivia: the answers were part is the signs scattered around the room. I listened to a docent bring the Valentine's day massacre to life as she stood in front of the actual wall where it happened. This is probably the most cleverly designed museum I've seen. I was so impressed with the quality and quantity of information. The Mob Museum was the best thing we did in Las Vegas! Highly recommend.

My husband and I took our friends here during their visit to Vegas. We all absolutely loved it. It's been a few years since I last visited and there were quite a few new things to see. Our favorite new thing was The Underground! A speak easy themed bar in the basement! The drinks and food were delicious. The decor was amazing. There's so much to look at and experience at this museum so give yourself lots of time. Luckily after you've paid you get a wristband that allows you reentry into the museum in case you need to leave the building. It's good for the entire day. And believe me, you'll need the entire day to see and enjoy it all. It's so worth it!!

Mary Gorfine

Lots of fun and full of fascinating information. 3 floors of Interesting exhibits--take the stairs or use the elevator. Several interactive experiences and a nice gift shop. The speakeasy in the basement was a comfortable place for adults to relax and have a beverage.

Jennifer Keene

Very interesting and cool. Loved speakeasy in basement. Staff very helpful.

Patricia Henderson

Kelley Reyes

I really enjoyed reading and seeing all the different things they had. After purchasing your tickets stop at the underground bar they have! The building is the actual courthouse where some of the mobsters were on trial.

Ron Wagner

Very informative. At your own pace, videos to sit and watch help the experience and give tourists, like me, a rest off my feet.

valerie flanagan

Very very interesting. Great detail taken in every area. Staff well informed and very helpful. Museum was fabulous and the moonshine sorted my sore throat

Dolly Thurman

I accompanied my partner in this museum for his project for his Law Subject. My partner and I was able to get information especially with the artifacts in here and with the history that unfolds the each story. The staff is so nice. They patiently answer all the questions that me and my partner had. The place is comfy and really looks good. I would love to be get back i here and learn new things!

Pamela Porter

My favorite was the shooting training and simulated crime! Oh my goodness!!! We had such a good time. We talked and laughed about it for hours! The autopsy was interesting as was DNA evidence lab... it all was fun!

Ashley Renee

really rad. so much to see. 3 stories. videos, activities. lots to read and learn. guns. actual crime scene evidence as well don't wanna give away too many spoilers. would recommend

Ken Breivik

We really enjoyed this museum. They have done an excellent job with the displays that really teach you about the history of the mob. It is well organized and informative. We most enjoyed the court room and the speak easy in the basement. We did not do the whiskey tasting or the shooting simulator or the crime lab because those were additional cost. We just did General admission. If you find this review helpful please like it.

Joanne Lange

Loved the experience. Lots of detail. Some immersive experiences. Make sure to do the extras for hands on stuff. Would have liked a narrative tour. Lots of reading

Clarke Morrison

Enjoyed our visit to the mob museum very much. We did the law enforcement training simulation, which was fun. The museum had a lot of information about organized crime across the country and even globally. I really appreciated learning more of the history.

Gerry Park

We where at a private party... it was so educational! We totally enjoyed reading about all the mob guys...Who knew! Wow!

Jason

Cool touristy thing to do in Vegas. We had never been to the Mob Museum and some friends wanted to go, so one of our trips from Los Angeles To Vegas we stopped in. I am a huge history fan and I felt like the exhibit was pretty fun, entertaining and informative. Definitely something people should do if they have never been before. Really interesting stories and Mob History. Fun little photo opps inside as well.

Sandra Mertens Lo Galbo

Mob information overload! The Vegas mob museum (recently mentioned on an episode of Bull) is jam packed with as much information on the secret underbelly of much of Vegas and American history. Interesting tidbits about the mobs connections to Vegas hotels and the Chicago valentine's day massacre (one of their proud exhibits is bricks from the wall where it happened). I'm from Chicago where the presence is no longer visible to a regular person. They also had other random displays, a lot of Vegas history. Overall, you get a lot of exhibits for your entry fee, but at some point it gets overwhelming. This is probably not great for kids, there are a lot of morbid facts and even photos of the dead. And way too much reading. I think they made it as interactive as they could while being a trove of information, but you are tired of reading before the end.

Benjamin Anderson

This was an enjoyable experience. The museum seemed a little out of order and was set up with the expectations that you already knew a bit about mob history in the US. (i.e. the wall for the Valentine's Day Massacre is before the explanation of what the Massacre was) However, overall, it was a enjoyable experience and I recommend it to anyone visiting Vegas and wanting to get away from the Strip for a bit

Bryan Clintberg

Incredible exhibit and informative staff. There is so much information displayed and very engaging. This was a highlight of our trip. We spent almost 4 hours there.

Marisol Buzeta

Had the best company event ever at the Mob Museum! Equal interesting for tourist and locals alike! Vegas icon you cannot miss!

Geoff Porter

You need about 2-1/2 hours to fully take it all in, from the reading of old news clippings and short movies in different spots of various topics. I'll end up going back again to take in a bit more that I didn't get to fully enjoy.

Michael Hannah

If you have ever wonder about the Mob and how it got started, this museum will tell you. Great displays and 2 simulators that are worth the extra money

Bryan Koch

A lot of interactive items as well as reading. Great place to learn about some of the history of how the mob was tied to Vegas as well as some other things. If you are a fast reader you may be able to breeze through in a couple of hours or so. If you are like me 4 hours wasn't enough time to soak it all in. Time to price ratio is worth the spend

alison joy

I've been to Vegas 5 times and always thought about stopping in here... hear me when I say you will not regret visiting and I wouldn't hesitate to add this to your trip. I will 100% be coming back! Highly recommend, great workers too. Frank and volunteer Tom were absolute gems.

Nick Camacho

Really enjoyed the speakeasy down stairs great drinks. Helpful and knowledgeable staff throughout the museum.

Marc Hebert

Too many videos, too much to read, not enough artifacts and interactive exhibits/displays. As a huge fan of mafia movies, I was definitely expecting more than this period I gave this attraction 3 stars instead of 2 because the speak easy lounge was a lot of fun

Robin Tice

This was a really neat place to visit. They have all the mob stuff, but they also have an area devoted to women that killed and even some clothing from other serial killer men. It's very entertaining and informative. Only complaint is that they let too many people in a once so it's packed and you kind of feel rushed. But all, is worth it!

Rachael Loya

Great place to visit when you're in Las Vegas! Every display and video is very informative about the mob world. It's interesting stuff. I highly recommend this place!

Julie Schetley

Really cool place to visit. Some photos are too graphic for smaller kids. Don't walk past the St. Valentine's wall......easy to miss

Heather Orton

Would not recommend. Was on a mission for our charity scavenger hunt that is one week a year. This one was red carpet in front of a museum. We layed our red carpet out on the sidewalk out front and did not take up much space. We were told to move by a lady who was not very nice. She came off irritated and rude. She called security to stand with her before she came out to talk to us. She was okay enough to have us fold up our carpet and have a tiny corner on the public sidewalk for a few minutes...I've been wanting to go here a long time. Now I certainly will not be.

Ingrid Molloy

If you love old Vegas history then this is a must-see. It took us a couple of hours to get all the way through and it was really interesting. Worth a trip!

Michael Janski

Good tour! Takes about 90 minutes to go through the house. Most artifacts shown are props, but enough real items spaced through to be interesting.

Frances Calero

This organised crime museum is really neat and very interesting. Learned a lot about the history and mobsters of early Las Vegas. My group did the moonshine tasting, which was educational if not too tasty. Still a fun experience! I wouldn't recommend bringing very young children or people sensitive to violence as some exhibits are graphic. All in all, a great museum to check out if you like history and learning.

Polly Haze

Must see. I was drawn in from the beginning and learned the most interesting things about the Mob. We were able to get police training and a courtroom experience. Highly recommend

Angela Loupee

They have a definite flow to follow. There are lots of interactive exhibits. I do not believe we came across _any_ broken ones, so kudos to the museum for upkeep! It is a fascinating part of our national history that is generally not taught in schools.

Nathan Combs

Very cool museum and extremely well done. If you like history and are interested in organized crime, you are sure to have a good time. The museum tells a very cohesive story from the history of immigrants to America, the creation of Las Vegas, to present day Las Vegas. There is a ton of history captured here and the building is historic as well. You won't be disappointed. The downstairs speakeasy is a nice touch as well. My only complaint is that the drinks in there are quite expensive, but they were good. If you have a few hours, check this place out!!

Kristin

It was fantastic! My husband and I were fully invested in the history of the mob and Las Vegas. Very informative and entertaining.

Damon Cipolla

Lots of great exhibits. Worth the money if you are into the mob history. Great staff to!

Gayle Rider

They have several interactive activities. One is a crime lab. You get to play medical examiner, ballistics specialist and several other things. A training simulator for live fire scenarios that the police use for training, watch out for the last one. There are actual photos, clippings, news reports etc. And one of the court rooms that many trials were judged. It may not be appropriate for younger children. Very graffic photos of slain mobsters and others trying to take down the mob. This is a fantastic museum for adults.

Lizzie

Absolutely fascinating time capsule! The exhibits are gripping and engaging, and it really leaves no details out. It does have a section on the first floor that could be graphic for younger audiences, but the establishment is kind enough to provide a secondary route with a warning sign. Other attractions include The Crime Lab, which I recommend, and the Distillery Tour, also a lot of fun! Be sure to pick up a cocktail at the speakeasy in the basement! And the volunteers here are wonderful people, very knowledgeable and professional! Please consider donating if you do visit, the history portrayed here is a once in a lifetime experience!

LakesideUso

Great time killer. Various videos, demos, and articles to keep you busy and entertained. If you like history, especially in regards to la costa nostra, this is a must stop.

Mychal Rorls

This truly has been one of the best museums I've ever attended. I will say I've always been fascinated by the MOB culture and to see its history for so many different backgrounds and era's has truly been a pleasure. I highly recommend seeing this museum if you're travelling to Vegas, very fascinating with so much to do and see!!!

Tom Descano

Interesting presentation of the history of "the mob", organized crime & it's influence on the development of Vegas. Viewing rooms & hallways are small, claustrophobic & not well-lit. Often standing shoulder to shoulder with several other visitors, or trying to maneuver through a crowd. The museum consists mostly of pictures with explanatory plaques. Not impressed. Plus, I'm just not that enthusiastic about the subject matter. They have the reconstructed brick wall from the St. Valentine's Day Massacre. They also had a please-touch replica Thompson "tommy" gun that "kicks" when you pull the trigger. Why? Seems strange given the amount of gun violence in the US. I was more impressed with the collection of photos & artifacts from the early years of Vegas' hotels, casinos & entertainers. This museum is ok for a bad weather day and you want a break from the casino atmosphere.

Kimberlee Hixon

Lots of fun...would definitely look for a coupon or go on Tuesday if you are a local. Won't take a lot of time... and it takes a lot of reading to get anything out of it.

Rich S

Fascinating museum, interesting to learn how prohibition encouraged the Mob and gangland activities. I did not know how it began to be more widely exposed by the Kefauver (sp?) hearings, one of which took place in this post office. Visited the speakeasy, although it was fun to sip moonshine - a first for me - I don't think that it's going to be a regular in my liquor cabinet!

Jenna

Great way to spend an afternoon. Lots of historical content chronicling the rise of organized crime and it's role in building Las Vegas. We did the deescalation simulation and it was a great look into a real life issue. Went too late to do other ones but really wanted to do the distillery tour too. Speakeasy in the basement was OK but a fun way to end the experience. Easy to lose a few hours here if you like this kind of stuff.
