I am a resident of Southern Nevada but came from Chicago which has the world famous Chicago Art Institute. The Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Art might be smaller but it is mighty. I have been there on several occasions and the exhibits have been wonderful and thoughtfully presented. I would encourage anyone in the Southern Nevada area to visit the museum. It's a gem!

Las Vegas has an amazing art scene with a united community of artists working together. The Metropolitan Gallery showcased a wonderful rock music collection of paintings next to impressive sculptures. but I am overwhelmed by this weeks showcasing of the Anne Frank exhibit taking place during the Jewish holiday of PURIM. Also called The "Chai Lights" exhibit, The Anne Frank. A Historical Remembrance is a must see for children reading about Purim, Anne Frank, and those who want to prepare for Passover which arrives in one month. My family and I will take my young son. The Metropolitan Gallery is the largest fine art exhibition space in Las Vegas. Next to the popular gaming arena, Millennial Esports, the gallery hosts over 17000 square feet of exhibition space adorned with fine art next door to Millennial ESports entrance. Parents can learn about Anne Frank, study impressive art, while their children play in video game tournaments next door.
