The staff is hospitably welcoming, informative and will make you feel at home and help with other needs. Here you can touch and be a part of History. The conservators will even direct you to other places of interest. This is a must-see.

Quite a complete museum for the size of the town with lots of great historical information, local artifacts and fun odd stuff. Unfortunately the local geology expert who used to work here passed away so tips on where to rockhound locally are not available.

For free there's definitely nothing to scoff at but it didn't seem well put together.. seemed more like a shop than a museum even though they weren't really trying to sell anything...

Stopped in a couple years ago. Had a good time with local history site. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good look into many aspects of a fairly remote area. Small town friendly and attentive. Had a really good time.

Small home town museum. Has lots of cool things like old carriages and typewriters. There's even some information on historical mining methods it's a nice place to take the kids.
