Disappointing to come for a tour and they are only open Thursday thru Sunday noon to 5pm. We'll definitely come back, we are both very interested in the history!

Hidden gem found in Nebraska City. The cabin , cave, and tunnel transport you to the time of the underground railroad. Highly recommended.

Self guided tour of the place. Price is very reasonable. Museum building is slightly Rin down, the history behind the cabin/tunel is a bit confusing as to wether it's the real cave/tunnel or not. Other than that we enjoyed it and learned lots.

Kids and adults enjoyed reading about the history of the underground railroad. The cabin and cave are a great visual demonstration of the conditions of the time period.

Neat experience learning about the underground railroad. Note this is a Self guided tour. Very affordable, our family of four paid 8.00. They also have a little village you can tour that includes a railroad station, school and church that they moved to the location
