REVIEWS OF Edgerton Explorit Center IN Nebraska

Brad Decker

Have been here a handful of times over the years as a parent of school group visits. Very unique with intriguing history and cool, interactive sciency stuff from building blocks to electronic switches to noise makers and flight simulator. Highly recommend the science lab presentations if at all possible. Fun. Entertaining. Educational.

Sue Lantzer

Interesting place to spend some time, from science to adventure.

Shaye Walker

Good learning place, but a lot of exhibits are broken or just closed.

Bob Braun

Took my grandkids. Lots of really interesting exhibits. The science is cool. Hard to find the instructions for a few games. Never did find explanation of big box with an X and plastic sticks under parabolic mirror. A few exhibits don't work like they once did, light bubble tubes, colored squares, Mars rover. Didn't realize west hallway had things to do until we were ready to leave. Doc Edgerton science (flash photography, strobe lights, and sonar) at it's best. No signs to explain sound dome in the main foyer. It's one of the best parts, a great way to start your adventure

J Strunc

Friendly, helpful staff. Neat exhibits for my kids of all ages.

Brad Tiede

Hands on experiments. Fun for young kids. Good place to hold group events. Parties and science tournaments.

Lots of kid's "hand on" fun.

Rod Niles

Don't know because I haven't been there for a long time.

Stephen Postier

Great atmosphere. Our kids had fun playing with the various exhibits. It took two days just to get them to stop asking to go back. We'll definitely be taking them back in the future.

This place was so cool and very "hands on". So many cool things to do. We could have spent a lot more time there. The price was right. We loved it and will definitely be going back in the future!!

My kids love spending Saturdays here exploring. There are always new exhibits to see and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Ryan Renner

First off neat place but..... For what it costs and no more than you can see I was not impressed my kids had fun though.. I guess I expected someone to show you around but the two kids as I would say way more interested in there phones than helping us!!!!

Paul Johnson

Fantastic learning center for kids aged 3 to 103. 104 and up might find it a bit taxing.

Chris Garnsworthy

Small but nice. The guy at the front desk was super nice.

Angela Guerrero

Lots of cool stuff for kids. Hands on! And it teaches them a lot of things!

Rick Horne

Fun place for kids up to 13 years of age. Educational and STEM focused. Maximum time to spend here would be 3 to 4 hours.

Diana Grubb

We have stopped to use the level 2 Tesla charger on several occasions. Each time we have been there we were the only one using the station. They also have another Tesla destination charger (level 2) and standard EV charger ( J-1772 ). We have also had the opportunity to visit the museum too. We found activities for the whole family to enjoy, ranging from 4-70 yrs old. Lots of hands on demos and cool high and low tech interactive science exhibits. A very educational and fun experience.

Amber McLaughlin

Kids love The Edgerton Center and the camps they offer!!

Peter Miller

Amazing!

Becky Saddler

Fun place for young and old alike!

wkrejci1

Wonderful experience though a "little" crowded to attend performances of AHS Show Choir and Rhapsody groups. Fantastic music and the kids deserve 10 stars having to perform under the conditions and STILL knock it out of the ball park with their singing and dancing choreography!

Jay Rasmussen

Went to a presentation on the 21st of August total solar eclipse. It was very good.

Ryan Bjornberg

Fun place

Nichole Ose

Small but packed with activities! 5 year old and 18 month old both had a great time.

Kyle Simonsen

Dope science stuff my kids played with for hours. Awesome stop comparable to the children's museum in Lincoln or Omaha, but in a smaller space.

Monica Huber

Absolutely amazing place. We went there on a school field trip and there are so many stations and options for kids and adults alike I which to participate. There is also a presentation given by staff that explains and gives sound and visuals of science related topics. We saw and kids participated in motion, static electricity and hydrogen bombs! Excellent for groups small and larger and definitely for a family outing. I would suggest 2nd graders through adults.

Kadence Dillender

They are a fun science business and they have electric car chargers.

Tasha White

Always something new and exciting

Desi Arul

Small place but tons of hands on stuffs for kids. Not crowded. We made a stop here during our road trip & kids had blast playing for about 2 hrs.

Yolanda Foltz

Very family friendly. Excellent science exhibits. Lots of hands on opportunities. Great for all ages. A few exhibits, like the VR, were down while we were there.

Andrew Russell

This place was great to take the kids. It was more than we were expecting. Glad we stopped.

J M

Great place to stop with the kids....and the adults had fun too!

Kevin Trimm

Great place for kids

Paul Iwan

Great place for kids and adults to learn and enjoy

Nicole Kiffin

Drove 3 hrs to get here for our daughters birthday. The Web site says open but when we got here it was closed. Way to ruin her birthday. Update: the museum director called and apologized herself for the miss communication of hours. They are going above and beyond to make it up to our family. Talk about great customer service. We have always loved this place. Which is y we drive so far to get there. It's worth it. And once again they proved how wonderful and caring they are for there customers, especially the small ones. I recommend this place to everyone near and far!!

Kyla Hershey-Wilson

The history of strobe was interesting, though a few of the exhibits didn't work. Science museums are always amazing, and they had one of those rooms that saves your shadow for a minute like I remember from another museum as a kid. We enjoyed the whispering dome quite a lot. I imagine this is a great place to learn alongside your children.

Ron Dixon

Good for kids of all ages!!

Aaron McKillip

Great place to take the little ones for a day of learning.

Savannah Seamann

Lots of hands on activities for all ages

W Gibson

Fun learning experience for all.

Ben Hollingsworth

I joined my son's 5th grade class from Lincoln on their visit to the Explorit Center. We were there vrom about 9:30am-3:00pm, which included 3 seminars and a Rube Goldberg building session. All 50 kids--boys & girls alike--and several parents absolutely loved it. The activity zone was full of fun stuff, and Teacher Dan kept the kids jumping out of their seats to volunteer for sciency demonstrations. 5th grade is probably the prime age for this place. 2nd graders would have fun in the activity zone, but wouldn't understand how stuff worked. By 8th grade, they'd bore quickly.

jay lbs

Lots of fun went in the middle of the day so it was only us so we got to play with everything and the staff was very polite and helpful

Natasha Stearns

Great place to take the family

Kristi Archer

Great place for kid fun

Abby Walling

We found this place on the Nebraska passport and checked it out. Soooooooo much fun!
