Read some of the other reviews, and didn't know what to expect. I am giving a 5 star rating because of the owners passion for classic cars and related memorabilia. He has put together an amazing collection, and truly is a car guy! However, we left very sad as clearly "the collection" is rapidly deteriorating due to the poor condition of the building. Noticeable holes in the roof have created a damp and smelly situation that is leading to some of the items getting ruined. I'm not even sure if the owner sees it that way. Nevertheless, glad we stopped to check it out...and if you truly have "the passion " it's worth the stop.

This was a great stop. The best was the elusive Chevette S Diesel. There were some nice older Chevy's that were in need of a little TLC.

Chevy's ... Need I say more?

I must say, this is one of the best experiences I have had for quite some time when it comes to just stopping to pass time. I was driving on I-80 and I caught a glimpse of a bright red 58 Chevy behind a large glass window along with some other old cars so I pulled of the highway and drove to this building which has no markings of a museum until you walk up to the door. I asked the nice lady behind the counter if they were open and how much, she said yes and it was only $6.00. The best $6.00 I have spent in a long time.Sure the cars have some dust on them but some of the best Chevy's I have ever seen in a private collection. The owner started back in the 70's collecting the better model for each year of Chevy production. For a private collection I thought this was very cool that he let's you walk thru the building among all these great cars of Chevy history. All I can say is "WOW" what a great feeling to see a hobby like this that someone will share with you. (This is a must see.)

Funny Story. The summer (June 1985) I was in the NAVY transferring from rotten Groton Ct. to Long Beach CA. Driving on I-80 it was hot and all of I-80 form NJ was under construction. I was super tired , and bored. My 57' Chevy radio was not too good and my walkman was a pain in the butt to listen to .My batteries were probably dead. I saw the building for Chevyland and knew I had to go see it up close even though it was Sunday and it was closed. I knew the odds were I would never be back. I took a chance and got off the next exit. Then I made a right onto Buffalo Creek road. It was a dirt road then. Is it a dirt road now? I kicked up alot of dirt just like in the movies. I had never done that before living in Brooklyn NY. and driving in the Northeast. I made the right onto Barley road and I was almost there. All I wanted to do is look into the window for a few minutes then leave. Well I got real close in my Bel Air when I ignored an attack dog sign. Something like "Beware of dogs". Well those were some smart, well trained dogs that I tried to ignore. Except for the fact they know nothing about classic cars. I got too close and they came running out. Good thing I was still behind the wheel. They chased me out of there growling, barking and showing 2 full sets of shiny sharp teeth. They also seemed to have some rather sharp claws that I noticed when they tried to climb onto my front left fender and when they tried to eat or scratch the heck out of my driver side window. My 4dr straight 6 cylinder Bel Air never found reverse as quickly as it did. I also never kicked up as much dirt until I hightailed it out of there back onto I-80 westbound and not nearly as tired and bored as I was just a few minutes before. I still own my car. If those dogs bit it today they would need a tetanus shot from all the rust. I'll never forget that moment, and its been 31 years since. Good times. Nice doggies.

It’s a step back in time, yes, it’s a little dark and musty, but that’s the point. A must see

I drive a semi and go past there all the time. Wish I could stop and look around. Think I'm too heavy for that road though. Looks awesome. And $6? Really, that's a good deal

A GREAT PLACE TO STOP RIGHT OFF OF I-80 WITH SOME OF THE RAREST CHEVROLETS YOU WILL EVER SEE. BEEN THERE SINCE THE EARLY 70'S AND I VISITED BACK IN THE LATE 80'S AND EARLY 90'S. THEY ARE STILL GOING STRONG AND ITS JUNE 2013!!! STOP AND SEE IT!

Been passing this place for 8 years and never saw a open sign until last week. From the freeway you can see the man has a nice collection of older model Chevrolet vehicles. Would love to stop & stroll thru the place. Maybe someday.

I think there were around a zillion classic cars here. Many of them were VERY cool. We spent a few hours there. Some of the cars had interesting stories, and some were one-of-a-kind. The downside was that it was an old dealership building that has not been cared for. There was a lot of dust, mouse droppings and roof leaks. The owner lives on site and has some interesting stories. Worth a visit, if you are in the area.

Del Francis

Not much. Some pretty nice cars, motorcycles and bicycles but really in bad shape.

Beautiful cars!

This is a tough one to review. The guy that owns the place is a great guy with a heck of a life story. There are a few very nice cars on display. And the admission is 6 bucks so it's priced nice for a family or an individual. Now for the reason I gave it only 3 stars.. The cars are in desperate need of attention, mechanical and cosmetic. The structure is in horrible condition and the place is in need of cleaning. No offense by me saying this but half the cars are just $500 dollar junkers taking up space. This place could be really cool if it was cleaned up! I was really leaning on a 2 star review but he's a nice guy and half the cars are true classics.

Past its prime, sadly has not been maintained in years. Cars covered in decades of dust, building itself smells bad. Broke my heart seeing all the amazing and rare cars being left in these conditions.
