Neat place to visit and learn about the Mississippi River, our tour guide was well informed. Overall upkeep of the boat needs work, otherwise it will be gone entirely soon.

Although I didn't get to see it all, my guide was very informative. Since I love machinery this was great. He allowed me into places that most probably would not want to go. I need to go back and see the rest.

Extensive damage to parking area and sidewalks due to recent flood. Gate was open but no body was around. Not sure it's operating.

What a really neat place! If you want a blast from the past, you need to stop by here and take a look at this thing. When there are open for their tours, you can go inside the boat and see what it was all about back in the day. Built in the 30's and it is amazing of what they did to make this boat to do what it needed to do!
